Across the firmament, the bull was massive to the point where it was difficult to distinguish where its body ended and the clouds began. Its white skin emitted a golden radiance that showcased a level divinity unprecedented for any Chaos World Da Hai had come across. Its horns were coloured in a way that they appeared to contain star systems
With a single cry, its azure gaze locked onto Da Hai who couldn't help but gasp. It was only due to his superior understanding towards the Dao that he could completely grasp the creature's appearance.
A Golden Immortal, heck even a Great Unity Golden Immortal would be incapable of comprehending it. The less said about anything lower the better.
At the very least, the great bull was a Chaos Immortal who had the power of a Dao behind it. Yet there was something crucial missing.
Da Hai swerved to the side, calmly avoiding the creature's charge that would've otherwise shattered the stability of entire realms. He distinctly felt a lack of genuine intelligence behind its azure gaze.
Knowledge without sentience wasn't possible. Da Hai retaliated by whipping the bull along its back. White flakes of skin were sheeted off by the godfiend, yet the bull did not register pain.
The clouds swirled around like a hurricane, allowing its gusts to stabilise into the bull's skin. New texture formed while thunderclouds filled to the brim with purple lightning surged from its horns.
"Mmmmmooooooo!!!"
"Oft."
Da Hai felt the impact of electricity on his chest. He had wanted to dodge, yet it found himself unable to. His robes were burned and his stomach sustained the full brunt of the blow.
"Space locked or…no this is different. Causality must've been revered and…oh no no no that's not it." Da Hai jumped out of the strike and glared at the triangles pulsating with its own mysterious energy.
Like a puppet master, it piloted the great bull while also controlling the ethereal realm of clouds. Da Hai felt its conceptual makeup clash against his Dao of distant seas.
"A fated result?" He sneered. He raised his hand and punched towards the triangles. "Just who is this fellow Daoist?"
He felt nothing good about the attacker. Stating no intentions nor relating any words. It was quite creepy.
The triangles detached energy from itself that formed into strings. All reached towards Da Hai. Some were destroyed by his punch, others were gathered and grabbed in Da Hai's right hand.
He pulled it with one motion. The strings could not penetrate him yet, nor could they influence him with the presence of his own Dao active. With this, he aimed to destroy the physical form of the triangles and force out its real self.
"Mmmmooooo!!!"
The bull jumped towards Da Hai. Its existence became akin to a celestial thunderstorm. Its body wreathed in lightning was met by Da Hai's other hand.
"Damned beast, this is tribulation lightning." He said after feeling the burn a second time.
Squeezing his hand, he cracked the heavenly bull's horns. Ripping it from the socket, he stabbed it into the bull's head before smashing the triangles into its side.
FOOM!
Da Hai was startled from feeling movement behind and above him. He saw nothing but gathering clouds.
The song from before was heard again. The desire, the need to enforce its will. Whoever it was, Da Hai knew they desired him to become part of them. But did they think an exalted Chaos Immortal such as him was mere food for another cultivator?
The clouds were now easily distinguishable in the form of a hand. Its rich vitality was keenly felt by Da Hai. "There you are rascal."
He reached out at the limb of the other living being. This creature and him clashed their cultivation bases, their qi flying out to tear apart the bright celestial realm.
"Mmmmoooo!!!"
The bull had reappeared immediately with the trinity of triangles at its side. It reared up, its body pulsating with thunderclouds. Malice was clear as day.
A second hand also descended. Like a man clasping his palms, Da Hai knew this individual wanted to squish him like an insect. He glared at the the triangles with range.
"I came here in good will seeking no harm. Guess some individuals are just scum." He attacked the other hand with his water. Blasting it had scattered the clouds, revealing a flesh filled with vitality.
"A fellow Chaos Immortal. Well not the same foundation seeing as we were born far apart." Da Hai knew this person was not as strong as Yurlunggur.
"Mmmooo!!!" The bull was being drowned by Da Hai as well. The innate god gave no chances for it to close in, aiming to instead crush it to meat paste.

In the distance, the triangles continued to tangle with the Dao of Distant Seas in an invisible war of influence.
"Now you…wait." Da Hai felt a temporal anomaly trying to manifest around him. A spherical anomaly was not enough. Concentrating, he instead broke it apart with his extending hair.
But that was not all, a second anomaly accompanied the temporal one. This one was closer in feeling to the triangles. It along with the temporal anomaly appeared to take serpentine forms to bit towards Da Hai. Together, they were far more powerful then the arms or the bull.
Da Bai's upper body extended, taking form as two water serpents that began fighting the two other snakes. From it, the sound of waves crashing against a wall was heard.
Da Hai could perceive the word, 'fated', written on the other hand. One serpent guided, the other waited at the end. He found the two infuriating.
But as he was fighting, he felt a pain in his chest. Pillars of lightning erupted through his front, from his back. Bull horns stuck out right at the centre.
The bull that was being crushed manifested behind Da Hai seemingly out of nowhere. The white bull inside the ocean appeared to have dissipated as well.
In that brief lapse of concentration, the clouded palms enclosed on Da Hai. The triangles spun in the distance, continuing to spread its strings in all directions. The centre of the shapes having taken on a circular appearance.
The clasping palms shook violently after a brief period of time. Violent cracks that bled golden appeared. Clouds lost their lustre, and the distant wails of a bull was heard.
The triangles stopped that they were doing, as the grunting from an unexpected pain.
With eruption of water, Da Hai's eight heads crashed out of the destroyed hands. In his centre two heads, two halves of the white bull lay impaled on fangs.
Pieces of other serpents fell from the scene, while an angry eight headed sea monster roared in triumph.
Da Hai's true form eclipsed all his opponents to such a catastrophic degree, that the entire celestial realm begun collapsing. The texture of reality they fought in was breaking away, revealing a chaotic void.
"Kill!"
Da Hai tore his way through the hands towards the triangles. In defence, hoofs of a bull crashed downwards to stomp the serpent.
Da Hai merely wrapped his way around them, then crushed them with a thought. His Limitless Supreme Chaos Immortal cultivation base caused this side of existence tremble.
"Still no fear? Still no regret? Only fools could be so brave." Da Hai felt confused inside, truth be told.
The triangles, weaving its strings was bitten down by Da Hai who proceeded to smash its form into the fabric of reality.
A familiar sound of glass shattering followed, and Da Hai saw the environment change. He had not made his way out to the Chaos Sea again. Instead, the new world resembled the Starry Skies he journeyed to in his youth.
But there was no familiar star, no constellations he recognized, nor a Wangshu there to greet him. Rather, even the stars here appeared to take the shape of arms reaching form him.
"You are…different?" He looked up to see a badly mangled cloudy hand reach down towards him. Instinctively, he understood this world of stars involved another person attacking him.
With the triangles caving in from the force of his jaws, Da Hai met the starry and cloudy force in battle. During which, the strings dangled from his mouth, much like talismans dangling from the doors of households during Chinese new year.
Dangling and rubbing against scales. Pieces of string flailed in Da Hai's throat as well.
"MINE/PART/COMPONENT/PIECE/ROLE"
"I WEAVE THE THREAD OF LIFE, I MEASURE THE LENGTH OF EXISTENCE, I SNIP OFF THE END OF FATE."
Da Hai heard this subtle voice as his mind suddenly froze.
…
Eons ago, from the ex nihilo arose the great Khaos. As time and necessity poured their essence towards the great formless entity, existence began taking shape.
First came the earth, mother of all things. She embraced existence wholeheartedly, birthing the great sky. That same sky casted a shadow behind him, which resulted in a new entity. Together, the family formed what was above, and blow.
As the firstborn went to rest beneath the darkness, the sky and the earth met for the first time.
Vegetation sprouted, mountains rose. And alongside the coast of continents, liquid water appeared. Primordial waters whose phenomena propogated the appearance of an male entity, spawn of the earth and the abyss. From it, two additional entities spawned, one in the empty space between islands, one flowing down from the mountain springs.
An old man's face appeared on the freshwater rivers, happy to be where he was. A son of the earth, yet a being of equal proportions.
In the salty sea, water wriggled instead. Waves crashed, resembling curved fangs. Whirlpools became empty eyes for a new entity. Formed by the living abyss beneath the earth. Embodying the great salty water, a long serpent swam through the abyss.
As the fated road of creation dictates, the primordial entities came into being unfiltered. A legend foretold, and weaved together by the sisters who govern existence.
He is but one piece in the cog known as the universe. The serpent of the rest sea residing beneath the firmament. Sibling and son to…
To….
To….
Crack!
The Dao fruit pulsed.

The Dao fruit spun rapidly. All things spawned, all things unite. In the briefest of seconds, the form of a fruit morphed into the form of a throne.
…
"Gah!"
Da Hai woke up with a gasp. His throat felt tight, his body felt trapped. His scales were oozing water, and his entire existence felt like it was melting. The eight headed serpent looked around.
He was constricted. His heads were grabbed, his body was held down. Multiple arms formed from clouds, stars, and an abyssal matter grasped him tightly. Just as tightly as he was biting down on the triangles.
"You undignified apes," Da Hai spat with no small amounts of contempt. "Ignorant fools. No one's purpose is decided for them. Such things are a mere illusion."
"FATE!" He heard the triangles sing. In his anger, Da Hai bit down, crushing it to pieces. Its strings fell limp in his mouth.
Then, the hands grabbing him slackened. It gave Da Hai enough of an opening to tear into them. His ferocious cultivation base ensured his supremacy.
His Dao spun profoundly, making sure he was virtually unreachable for any counter attacks. At the same time, he ripped the hand of clouds into pieces, he banished hand made from abyss, and he tore through the hand made of stars.
"FATE!"
He heard it clearly again, an angry shout. Whereas before, it was calm and regal, acting as an authority on high. Evidently, it was used to dictating all things regardless of their position. That was just how the world is from its perspective, everything was fated.
Da Hai's denial drove it to anger. Thus, the form it took as triangles shattered into nothingness. Then from the tendrils of strings, sparks of tribulation lightning, and numerous heavenly phenomena, it assumed a more combative form.
As for the others that had aided it? They must've been fated to lose. Its loom had already weaved such a fate.
Beneath the firmament of clouds, within the firmament of stars and constellations, the bull of heaven reared on its hind legs. On his back, a female dressed in priestess robes sat.
Three faces, six arms. On the rightmost, she held a spindle, on the leftmost, she held a pair of scissors, in the centre, she head a measuring rod. Her eyes were all open, but maintaining a calm, almost lifeless facade.
Da Hai was not fooled, he could feel the rage oozing off of her. In fact, the aura he was sensing had completely changed as well. Without the hands around, it no longer felt familiar as a living being.
If anything, it resembled the Heavenly Dao.
