SSS Ranked Dragon King: My Innate Ability is Unbelievable.

Chapter 108: Angry Demon.

" I'm surprised you've never met these troublesome little devils before. Their goblins and though they might not look it, these little things are known for causing mischief and horrors." Rugard stared at his bloodied bone spike with disgust before tossing it aside into the right forest.

" This path were taking is filled with monsters which makes it dangerous but also the safest route for us because it'll be far more harder for anyone trying to come after us, as well."

' So that's why he choose to walk along side us. He was trying to keep watch Incase of anything that might get past the undead.' Su Ping's gaze lingered on Rugard for awhile before shifting elsewhere.

" We best get moving, it's dangerous to remain in one location while taking this path. Also, the blood from these goblins is sure to attract more unwanted enemies." Rugard said but Su Ping was silent, his gaze fixed on the goblin corpses.

' I should eat them but if I change into my Dark wyvern form, I'll definitely wake up Melinda and the kids.' Su Ping pondered how he should deal with the corpses, he felt that leaving them here would be such a waste.

[Dark Sphere]

[.....]

Rugard didn't know what Su Ping was planning but he watched on as multiple Goblin corpses were encased in dark spheres, the number of dark spheres rose rapidly making Rugard apprehensive, his gaze turned towards Su Ping, wandering just how much magical power did he possess that he could use this many skills.

After encasing every single goblin corpse in dark spheres, Su Ping willed the dark spheres to shrink, along with the flesh inside each and everyone of them. Su Ping focused as he forcefully compressed the goblin corpses within each dark sphere.

The spheres shrunk little by little, from their original size to half, from half to quarter, from quarter to semi quarter and so on, until they shrunk to the size of meat balls. Only when they reached this size did Su Ping stop, taking some short breaths.

Using his magical power like that had actually drained him quite a bit but he was satisfied with the results. He gathered the meat ball sized dark spheres and silently loaded on the cart.

" Let's go." The caravan began moving once more when Su Ping got into the cart. Rugard who was still processing what he'd just seen, watched as Su Ping picked one of the dark spheres and ate it. He was careful not to make much sounds, like that, he began eating the dark spheres while they continued their journey.

They encountered another group of monsters but Su Ping quickly dealt with them without much issues. He then had the undead gather their corpses before he turned them into meatballs.

" This isn't efficient, at this rate we'll keep making more and more stops throughout the night." Su Ping stood beside the cart, staring at the meat ball in his hand with squinted eyes.

" I don't see any reason for you to be unhappy. We've been moving faster compared to normal standards." Rugard said, pulling his bone spear out of a goblin corpses, beside the corpse was a corpse of a different monster, a Lvl 2 monster. It looked similar to a goblin but unlike the size of a human child, this one was as large as an adult human male, with thicker limbs.

" If the Lion heart Kingdom is so capable... Then why can't they get rid of a few monsters." Rugard heard the demons angry tone.

" It's not like they can't but that some of those in power aren't willing to." Rugard said, rousing Su Ping's skepticism.

" Compared to other demons, you really are pure." Rugard laughed lightly but eventually stopped when he noticed Su Ping's displeasure.

" Think about it like this. When people want to travel from villages to towns or the other way around, they'll be scared of encountering monsters along the way, correct?" Rugard said but Su Ping remained silent as if permitting him to continue.

" Now if they're scared, they'll obviously seek help from others who they feel can protect them, take for example, an escort group of adventures."

" The adventures get payed to keep traveling goods and people safe, sometimes even help them clear monsters that encroach upon their land."

" If that were the case, wouldn't that make the adventures the only ones to gain?" Su Ping suddenly interjected.

" On the contrary no. Do you expect those uptight and greedy nobles to sit back while meer commoners continue to reap constantly before their own eyes?" Rugard smiled mockingly.

" Since anyone could just become an adventurer, in other for those bastards to make a profit, they'll change the rules a bit to help themselves."

" For example, The current law that states that only those who register with an adventures guild can be taken as real adventures."

"Those registered under the adventures guild are payed by the guild directly, not buy those who initiated the quests."

" Since they're acting as a middle man, each guild imposes the same rule that allows them to take ten percent from each completed quest of the adventurer."

" But wouldn't the commoners who are strong enough to become adventures disagree with such a notion, after all, they can simply go and complete the quests themselves after seeking out those in need." Su Pings expression looked confused.

" Hehehe, I don't know what life was back there in the Abyss, but over here, if you try to do things against the rules, your actions are branded as illegal, I hope you understand what that means."

" I understand were your coming from but, After enjoying the benefits of the guild, such as easy quest acquisition, a hub to meet other adventure's and exchange knowledge, as well as an organization that offers items and resources to better help adventurer's on the

ir quest, in the end, everyone will overlook that meager ten percent."
