A woman's voice that I could recognize was speaking from behind me but I didn't get how they were here. How could she be here when I never saw her in person before?

You're right, there's no need for me to focus on the woman when my enemy is right in front of me. She would've had no problem killing me so what does it matter.

I wind back my fist and begin to throw it towards her until I feel it suddenly get stopped, I can't seem to bring it towards her.

"Bloodlust is quite the powerful thing to use but you don't want it making your decisions." The woman says while holding my arm back.

I can't really speak all that much when bloodlust is like this.... It basically made responding impossible but why doesn't she understand that I'm making the decision...?

I want to kill her and all the other ones around us. They are literally a group of killers so why should we be merciful when they don't spare the people they go after?

I continue to try to push my fist towards Luna as the grip gets tighter around my arm. Who the hell is this damn strong?!? My arm refused to move whatsoever, the strength of this woman is insane.

It didn't sound like Rika so I don't really know who else could be here right now, unless...

I slowly turned my head towards the woman but my vision was too distorted to make out who it was. She isn't going to let me do this so I'm going to have to resist the bloodlust...

That's not exactly what I was hoping for but there isn't really much of a choice since she is intervening with the fight.

The voice of my sinister self disappeared as my vision slowly started to come back, I could just barely see who was holding my arm back.

"Seraphine... How are you here?" I question with a bit of confusion in my voice.

Thud! I can hear Thomas finally fall to the ground as I shift my attention to Seraphine entirely.

Luna probably will run away or won't move out of sheer fear. I don't think I'll have to worry about her for the time being, not until Seraphine leaves at least.

"I'm a goddess, I can go wherever I please. You don't want to go down that path, not while fully under the influence of bloodlust." She responds with a bit of worry in her voice.

"What does it matter? Bloodlust will activate when I kill people either way." I question with a bit of confusion in my voice.

"Full bloodlust influence won't be good for you, trust me. Killing is fine but don't let it be like that. Also that form has a unique look to it but you can do so much better without it." Seraphine answers while letting go of my arm.

It really is shocking to see a goddess in person like this since it is a bit different from the abyss. I'm not just some spirit, everything is actually physically here for me.

"I can't guarantee anything as of right now but I'll try not to resort to it." I say with a bit of nervousness.

The feeling of scales on my face seem to slowly disappear as I look down to see my arms aren't fully covered anymore. This is all kind of insane to see changing so quickly but I guess she doesn't want me on a bad path.

You really must be important if Seraphine found a way to come here herself.

Rika? I didn't know you were back already but yeah, I'm just as surprised. I wasn't really expecting to see her in person like this so it is interesting.

"The fight is almost over but the leader isn't going to go down easy. He is definitely a high ranking assassin. SS would be the appropriate rank for him." Seraphine warns me with some caution in her voice.

"What about the girl there?" I question while looking towards Luna.

"I restrained her already since you managed to calm your bloodlust." Seraphine answers without hesitation.

I'm actually surprised that it wasn't that hard to do this time around, but I won't question it too much. Though, the pain was starting to come back from those punches that Thomas dealt me.

I have a feeling that I'll need quite a bit of rest after this fight is over so I can recover.

Pat… pat... Blood was dripping onto the floor, I could feel it going down my face.

"Are you going to be okay, Rokuro?" Seraphine asks with worry in her voice.

"I'll be fine. I've been through worse." I respond with a laid back tone.

I cracked my knuckles, then my neck, and then my back before turning to face the others.

"I appreciate you helping me here, I'll be okay now. Just don't disappear right away. There are definitely some more questions to ask you." I said before walking away.

I'll definitely ask her some questions once this fight is over with since she decided to come all the way here for me. I don't want to miss the opportunity to get some answers about some things.

Bloodlust is always going to be a problem I gave though, I don't think she realizes that.

She does, but you don't have to let it shape who you are.

It'll never do that so no one needs to worry about it.
