The Rise of Quetzalcoatl

Chapter 195: Tortured Yeti

"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU!" He shouted, shaking the cave and trying to shake me off in the process, but I coated my shoes and hands in shadows that hooked into his skin.

"You have three minutes to tell me everything you know about the Frostbite. If you withhold information, you get pierced. Lie about any information, you get pierced. And if you aren't entertaining enough, you get pierced," I muttered with a sadistic smile.

"Okay! Okay! I'll tell you everything I know! I just please stop stabbing me!" He shouted and just as he reached for me with his large palm, I stabbed that arm.

ARGHHHHHHHH!

"What'd I fucking tell you?" I said before then expanding the shadow that pierced his arm and then ripping it off of his body.

And just so he didn't die, I covered the wound with my shadows, just so he wouldn't bleed to death, but still feel the pain.

ROOOOOOAAAAR

Instead of a humanoid scream, the yeti let out a beastly and almost monstrous roar, shaking the entire mountain that this thing was living in.

"Help me! Somebody help me!" He shouted and my eyes turned cold before I summoned thousands of shadow spears that twirled around the beast.

Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing Shing

"SPEAK!" I shouted into his ear as he cried blood and despaired out the ground while writhing from the pain of being continuously stabbed.

He looked pitiful as the true monster from before who was manipulating the poor people of this village had been turned into a crying mess.

"Y-YOU WON'T LET ME!" He shouted, but I stabbed him again, releasing yet another blood-curdling cry from the pitiful yeti.

His white fur had been stained with the stench of blood and it had taken a blood-red color that dripped to his feet.

The walls and beautiful icy furniture had been painted with dark red blood and the mix of my very own shadows swirled around the room like a vortex.

"SPEAK!" I shouted and this time it was so loud that the mountain rumbled and I subconsciously activated one of my special skills.

[Scales of the Shadow Dragon]

Pitch black scales began to coat my neck, arms, cheeks, and legs, but they didn't fully coat my body, leaving me in a half draconic, half humanoid form.

"W-What is a dragon doing here?!" The yeti shouted and he was pissing me off so much that I just wanted to kill him right here and now.

'Charna, calm down,' Lucy's voice suddenly rang through my head and the rage clouding my mind slowly disappeared.

'Yeah, you're about to make all of us go berserk. I even ended up killing the grandma in front of me because of your rage,' Amanda said.

'What the fuck. I only ended up breaking the cabin, but thankfully, everybody else survived…' Ethel commented.

'Okay, okay… Everybody calm down now. None of these people did anything wrong, they're just being controlled by the giant yeti,' Mia said, but Lucy had something to say otherwise.

'Nah, they're following him of their own volition. Apparently it's like a mutual relationship where he provides protection from authorities and shit while they protected the existence of him spreading to the public knowledge,'

'Girls, I'm going to be shutting this off so I can focus on the torturing. Just come inside the mountain if you need me,' I said before closing off my mind from the hivemind and then glancing down at the crying yeti.

"Come on, speak,"

"Y-Yes… The Frostbite is a key used to unlock a special dungeon that is holding the same species of me behind it. It's a dungeon that was created through the yeti king's influence, so it isn't affected by the restrictions of the system. But, to make sure nobody but the yeti's opened it, he made the key a weapon that only the yetis can acquire,"

"And that weapon is Frostbite?" I asked, now just realizing how easy it was to extract information after calming down.

"Y-Yes… P-Please don't kill me,"

I tapped back into the hivemind and asked Lucy if there was anything else we needed to learn about, and what do you know, several more things came up.

'Seriously? I have to ask him about all of that?' I asked and she didn't respond which was obviously an order.

Spoiled little ice princess… I swear to god I'll punch you when I get back!

So, I proceeded to ask him about everything that we needed to know which took about a long hour as there was a lot to ask.

First of all, it was about some gods that Lucy was interested in, such as Anubis, a snake dragon god, and then a spider god.

The yeti didn't know much about what the question was trying to ask, but in the end, he told me about how they were legends from where he came from.

It was something about evolving from the weakest monster to the most overpowered monster that she was able to become a god and then create gods herself.

Apparently, she made her peers all gods through one of her skills, which I assume is also connected to the system.

Then, there was the question of the monster's paradise, but unlike the other monsters, he had no idea what we were talking about.

I thought he was lying at first, but after ripping off one of his legs, he still gave me the same answer so I just decided it was true.

Either he has amazing acting or he's a pussy and I'm inclined to think it's the ladder, so I came to the conclusion that he wouldn't lie to me.

Then, there was the idea of demons and he even brought up a topic about angels, humanoid beings with bird-like wings and yellow halos floating above their heads.

Demons and Angels were one of the same coins, just like heads and tails which were opposites.

Demons helped balance out the angels while angels helped balance out the demons, just in case they tried to do something taboo within the system.

But, besides that, he didn't know anything else about demons and angels as the world he resided in was far away from them.

All the information we were getting was so juicy that I could practically feel the starvation through the hivemind, coming from Lucy.

I could already see her drooling all over her notepad.

Finally, there was the matter of yetis and despite him being yeti, he only told us basic information which you could find all over the internet.

Either the researchers of yetis were doing their job too well, or the yetis are just that boring and uninteresting.

"Is that everything?" I asked and he gave me a weary smile and confirmation.

"Y-Yes… N-Now please spare me," He begged.

I tortured him for about an hour and the pleasure I received from it felt so good that I came waltzing out of the mountain with a massive smile.

"What a weirdo," I heard Mia mutter and I just gave her a slight glare before walking over to Lucy and patting her head.

"I'm done. He doesn't have anything left in him… Go ahead and take your prize. As he is a strong monster, he should put you to the level cap," I said while ruffling her hair.

"Oh my, you didn't kill him? I thought you wanted all the XP to yourself? I mean, I wouldn't have minded, but I'll gladly accept your offer,"

Ah, the blizzard has stopped blowing… cool.

(Lucy POV)

As I walked through the massive doors, I was greeted by the bloody body of a barely alive yeti.

The stench of dried blood filled the room, but that was obvious as everything else in the room was dripping with blood.

"How are you not dead?" I muttered before taking out frostbite and stabbing the yeti in the head, putting him to death instantly.

It was a quick and easy death as a bit of a gift due to the torture he had just undergone by Charna…

Damn, that girl needs to calm down sometimes.
