Tower’s Richest Player: My Coins Won't Stop Increasing

Chapter 172: Pretty rewards

"After going through all that, the rewards certainly aren't disappointing."

[You will be rewarded: 120,000 IX.]

[Experience points for clearing the dungeon with unique achievements will be rewarded.]

[Ding!]

[For the dungeon achievements in a place with holy designation, unique Stat [Purity] will be increased.]

[Purity(+6).]

[As the reward for Unique achievements, ID: KiRA will be rewarded with <Space Compression cube> {A-Rank}.]

[As the reward for accumulated achievements, ID: KiRA will be rewarded with Skill: {Domain}.]

[As a reward for additional achievements, ID: KiRA will be rewarded with a <Random item box> {A-Rank}.]

⟪ Your achievements will be highlighted in the [Akashic records]. ⟫

First of all, there was a red crystal ball in his hands that was pulsating. It seemed like it was going to almost explode, but KiRA took out another similar crystal and placed it right beside the other.

Then the red crystal ball stopped blinking gradually, stabilising at a bright red, and then the new ball started blinking in red.

"Just how much EXP did I get?" KiRA had locked down his level with Unity's access skill so no experience was going to him directly. All the accumulated experience was going to these consumable item balls used to store the excess experience points.

These consumables, while being costly, were something many higher ranked players used when they were hunting mobs.

Many [EXP farms] also used these crystals when they ran out of the actual <EXP Storage Units> in their farms.

These crystals were convenient and stored a ton of EXP. Since his level was locked anyway, all of the EXP that he was getting since before the 3rd floor had been going to these crystals.

And now, he had a few of these crystals in his storage space… but the dungeon clear EXP was most certainly on par with all of the EXP that he got on the 3rd floor, which was a Lot!

"Two and a half? Damn that's a lot." Two bright red crystal balls and one that had stopped at a dull yellow, these three crystal balls were going to be used later when he changed his class on the higher floor.

Once he changes into a new class, he will lose all of his levels. Many classes did not have these limitations, but the class that he was going for was different from most of the classes that were present in the tower.

There were certain kinds of classes that stood out from the rest of the classes, ones that could not be categorised together with the normal classes, and he was going to be aiming for that one.

Rejecting the legendary class during the cathedral mission wasn't for nothing. The seed to his class progress was sawn the moment he took down the goddess, but the dungeon rewards were most certainly something he found pretty attractive.

"The EXP, some money, and then the fun things." The golden item box and a blue holographic cube that resembled a rubix cube.

These two things were not the rewards that he was expecting but getting them certainly put a smile on his face.

"There's a good chance I'll get something good if I open the reward box right now, but we'll wait for now." KiRA wanted to open the random item box but he waited for the time being.

He placed the golden box in his inventory with shaking hands and grabbed the blue holographic cube with both his hands.

"Along with the <Enchantment pen> that I got from the barrier ritual on the first floor, this one will be pretty useful when creating things. This one's practically a subspace room."

The space compression cube was an item that one could use to expand the space of a certain area. The item acted like a subspace, enhancing the spatial area of a certain enclosed space according to what the user wanted.

Mostly, this item was used in the creation of spaces that were more spacious than what their dimensions defined. However, unlike most fixed places, this item allowed users to either change a place's spatial structure permanently, or temporarily use it for various other things.

"The item is versatile, just like I like it." KiRA loved it when there were many uses to a simple looking item.

Anyone would think that they can make all kinds of big places, perhaps an entire warehouse in a place that was as small as a doghouse, but that wasn't everything this item was capable of.

KiRA had used it in the past, and he knew damn well just how dangerously mischievous this item really was.

"And lastly, the skill…" KiRA smiled ear to ear and looked around the surroundings. Everything that he was seeing right now, everything that existed in the three dimensional space that all living beings perceive most of the time, was not the end of what one understands as 'space'.

Where the mortal limitations ended one's ability to perceive, the true realm of transcendence began.

"Domain."

The gateway to the fourth axis, the plain of time.

He did not expect to get this skill here.

In fact, he should not have obtained this skill until he was on the 10th floor.

The conditions to obtain a domain were very, very tricky. One needed to go through various ability checks in order to obtain a skill that aligned with the higher plains of perception.

Not just anyone could obtain a domain either.

The skill was so difficult to control and master that just using it in practical battles would require a lifetime of experience.

But, even though KiRA did possess that lifetime of experience, his current stats could not handle even a step within the domain.

"It must be because of the encounter with that particular dungeon manager. The influence of its acknowledgement must have cancelled out a lot of requirements." KiRA wondered about it for a moment, but then shook his head.

He had never really understood the reward system of the tower. They were random most of the time and there was an elaborate causal reason behind many of the rewards that one got through various acts.

Clearing this unfinished dungeon as an individual when it was supposed to be a group dungeon was also a factor. Perhaps the system judged it was fine for him to have the skill, or perhaps there was some other reason.

Whatever the case may be, he now had a power that could become an unfair advantage even in an unfair fight.

And he intended to use that power as soon as he had the physical ability to do so.

"Which isn't happening anytime soon." With a deep sigh, he finished his rest and finally stood back up.

[{ Master, I've looked around the place. }]

At the same time, Unity came back from her recon mission as well.

"What did you find? Any dangers around here?" KiRA had rested well now, and while he was resting, Unity had looked around the place for potential dangerous elements.

She checked the murals around them, checked for trap zones with the help of the leaf Fay, and even searched for any monster, but there was nothing around them.

If anything, the area around them was like a safe zone or rest zone, and at the end of a certain path where the path divided into a fork, the area beyond them was blocked by tall iron gates.

[{ We also looked around and we're now certain this place exists far underneath the dungeon area. It's like we're even under the third stage of the dungeon. }]

"Is that so?"

KiRA had his doubts but it seems like he was right.

What they had seen above was only the tip of the iceberg. The real runes that were left behind by the people of Tatar started from here.

The dungeon area was simply a distraction and made in a space that may or may not have been relevant to the runes.

"We found the runes and we now have to find the traces of the goddess' messenger. Also, we'll have to finish the test left behind by the people of Tatar."

KiRA had received buffs from his title since he was in a dungeon but the title effects did not apply in the runes.

From now on, he will have to be even more careful of the traps as well as all of the obstacles that do come his way.

It wasn't going to be easy finishing this quest…

"We should go slow from here. Let's check for the clues within the murals along the way. Also, Uni, be careful of the holy presence in this area."

The darkness skill was reacting to the holy power at first, but now the effects of purity were making it more bearable.

Due to sensory adaptation he would soon forget about the weird feeling, but that might just prove out to be a fatal flaw in places where traps actually existed.

[{ I'll look around first then. Also, master, before we go ahead, I think you should keep this one on you. }]

Unity picked out one of her feathers with a unique green light dimly lit around it.

-Ooooooooooong!

The house owner, however, did not like that and came out immediately.

"They don't like this, Uni." The Leaf Fay started complaining to Unity, almost screaming at her from what KiRA understood.

There was some kind of dispute between the two but Unity carefully negotiated with the creature as she slapped it with her feathers.

[{ Children are ungrateful these days, hmph. }]

The leaf Fay returned to the feather as KiRA once again realised the greatness of his familiar, and placed the golden-white feather in his pocket.

The leaf Fay was going to stay with him for the time being. Which was ultimately a good thing considering the hell that befell them once they stepped inside the corridor which, just a moment ago, had been judged to be harmless by the cheerful bird.
