Behind him, the Foreman let out a deafening roar of anger, the man literally sprinting across the air in his haste to reach Sam. His wings went unused, his speed too fast for the air to keep up with him. Sam kept his focus on his task, and with a resounding snap, the chain burst apart. A chain reaction spread up and down the fracturing length of shadowy metal, and the other chains began to fall.
The Shadow Raven bucked as tides of ambient Dark elemental energy began to drain into it from the breaking chains. Its wings grew in size, and a majestic plumage of obsidian feathers grew, along with the rest of the elemental. It turned a beady eye at Sam, and with a single flick of a wing, it shattered space for a dozen miles, Sam caught in the center. He felt cold blades of elemental Darkness shred through his insides, without a care for his layered armor. Teleporting was out of the question, even more than before, and moving any significant distance was as well. Instead, Sam expelled a spear of the Dao from the soles of his feet, carving a tunnel to the ground, far closer than the edges of the spatial anomaly.
He let gravity carry him down before the Raven could attack again, accelerating his descent with a quick rocket of Dao from his upraised hand. As soon as he touched the ground, he used his newest elemental ability. Immediately, his body froze in an awkward position, grey flecks spreading across his armor and skin.
A wave of boundless durability surged through him, and his body grew as obdurate as a cultivator many levels above him. In fact, given his current strength, he was likely as durable as a D Ranker. A fresh wave of spatial razors swept over him, but this time, they shattered on his skin without a hope of getting through. Each hit drained a noticeable portion of his elemental energy, but he had enough to resist for a while.
Sam would have grinned, but he couldn't even move that much. Instead, he hoped that the next part of his plan would work. As the Raven realized that Sam was beyond its reach for the moment, it turned its baleful gaze at the other cultivators. The Foreman, closest of them, received the full force of the elemental's wrath. A crackling beam of raw energy the width of a redwood streaked out of the Raven's open beak. It moved faster than Sam could even see. This was not because of overwhelming speed. Rather, it contained so much spatially aligned conceptual energy that it occupied all points on its flight path at the same time.

The Foreman was enveloped by the beam, his flesh torn to shreds as bits were teleported all across the world. Even then, he pushed through, his ultimate technique more than up to the task. As he moved, the Shadow Raven teleported, a massive rift opening up before it as wide as a canyon. It was an odd, almost unreasonable sight. A beast miles in width phasing through reality and appearing in another place.
With a sharp crack as it accelerated, the Shadow Raven emerged, pecking at the Foreman. It moved faster than the lava cultivator could react, blasting him down to the ground. A cloak of lava formed around the titanic man, and as soon as he hit the stone below, he started to draw upon the conceptual nature of the Earth.
A vast upwelling of molten rock surged out of the realm of the Dao, causing the rock underneath the Foreman to bulge. It erupted with a titanic boom, thrusting its creature towards the Shadow Raven, his hammer blurring as he rose to meet the elemental. To his credit, he was a lot braver than his allies, who remained at a distance trying to snipe the Shadow Raven with all manner of elemental techniques. It was quite sad in some cases, especially coming from the melee fighters.
Sam couldn't say much better about himself, though, stuck in place by his Mountain's Flesh ability. As he stood there, his mind was furiously working, trying to find a way to win. He had entered this floor thinking that it was no more than a pushover, but the fact was that the major players here could fight on an equal footing with him. Had he not set the Foreman and the Shadow Raven on each other, he would have been in bad shape by now.
