Apocalypse: My Talent Is Infinite

Chapter 84: Apprehend Him

BOOOOM!

SSSSSHHHH!

ROAR!

The two titans clashed, sending devastating shockwaves across the land.

Rokan, with his unconscious wife on his back, watched the battle unfold with cold eyes.

His expression darkened as he saw his Leviathan gradually losing ground.

Fury burned in his gaze.

"Raim," Rokan said, his voice trembling with restrained rage, "we've been friends for centuries. Why would you betray me, your own brother?"

Raim's eyes softened, though his tone remained firm. "Rokan, you know that's not how it is."

The Leviathan roared one last time before dispersing into mist, flowing back into Rokan's body.

His face became unreadable as his gaze slid past Raim and landed on Aron, who still stood at the altar, impassive and calm, showing no hint of fear.

That expression burned Rokan's heart even more.

Seeing his son's killer standing there so composed, while he could do nothing, made his blood boil.

His eyes turned toward one of the guards bearing the dragon insignia who stood around Aron, Helena, and the headless prince.

"Bring me my son's body," Rokan commanded coldly.

The guards hesitated, until Raim gave a silent nod.

Moments later, the lifeless body of the prince was laid before his father.

His own soldiers stepped forward and carefully lifted their fallen prince.

A single tear slid down Rokan's cheek.

His eyes, once filled with grief, now burned with vengeance.

He glared at Raim for a brief moment, then at Aron, before turning around with his unconscious wife on his back.

His cold voice echoed through the hall.

"Human Emperor... prepare for war."

Raim stood motionless, his eyes filled with pain.

The moment Rokan called him Human Emperor instead of by name, he knew.

Their centuries-long friendship had ended right there.

He suddenly looked older, as though the weight of ages had settled on his shoulders.

Exhaustion etched itself deep into his face.

His wife, Joda, quietly placed a hand on his shoulder, a silent attempt to comfort him.

"...Apprehend him," Raim ordered, his voice heavy.

Aron watched the entire exchange without any visible change in expression.

Even though he hadn't meant to kill the prince, he felt no remorse.

After all, the man had tried to kill him first, and simply lost.

Still, Aron couldn't help feeling both surprised and wary.

The sight of mythological creatures from Greek mythology, appearing here, alive, was unnerving.

(Don't tell me... I've been thrown into another world again?)

He sighed deeply.

(Is this my life now?)

Sigh…

Still, Aron wasn't the least bit worried about his safety.

Raim was at the peak Nascent Soul Realm, while Rokan was only at the early stage.

Their familiars might be at the Soul Transformation Realm, the Ascension level, but even if they all attacked him together, Aron was confident they couldn't harm him.

It wasn't arrogance.

It was fact.

Within his realm, he was unchallenged. Whether someone was at the beginning or peak of the same stage, it made no difference to him.

The only reason he remained calm, and hadn't left yet, was simple: he hated not knowing his surroundings.

He wanted information first before making any move.

Aron stood quietly as the guards approached him on Raim's command.

Then, without warning, the approaching guards suddenly sank into the ground up to their waists.

They struggled, panic spreading through their ranks as they found themselves immobilized.

Raim's eyes widened in shock as he looked toward Aron, whose gaze had finally shifted to meet his.

A thin layer of water-like energy materialized beneath Aron's feet.

Consuming a bit of mana, he began to levitate, gliding toward the so-called Human Emperor.

Raim expression flickered, just for a moment, but Aron caught it anyway.

His sense ability was sharp enough to notice even the smallest twitch.

When Aron landed before the king and queen, A soft hum filled the air as a wave of white energy spread from them, brushing against his senses.

He immediately recognized it.

(So that's their Spiritual Sense, huh?)

It was similar to his own Sensory Ability, though weaker and far more detectable.

Aron guessed that someone of higher cultivation could easily sense it.

The king and queen were clearly trying to probe his strength.

But that wouldn't work on him.

Due to the nature of his cultivation technique, based on the Yin attribute, he could regulate how much energy he allowed others to sense.

Essentially, he could adjust his apparent cultivation level at will.

At the moment, he chose to let them sense him as Peak Core Realm.

Not because of fear, but practicality.

He knew he'd already caused enough chaos: crashing a wedding, becoming soul-bound to a stranger, killing a prince, and accidentally sparking a war.

Acting arrogant on top of that would just make things worse.

He wasn't heartless enough to pretend otherwise.

He knew he was in the wrong, at least partially.

"I only need information," Aron said flatly. "Then I'll be out of your hair before you know it."

Instead of responding, the king suddenly burst into laughter.

"Hahahahaha!"

He looked Aron up and down, eyes sweeping from head to toe, his expression one of mocking disbelief.

To him, Aron must have looked like a complete fool.
