"Sir, we cannot advance beyond this point, your team will have to make the remaining journey on foot, otherwise we will be noticed by the enemy" the driver looked and spoke respectfully to Alex.

"Okay, what's the remaining distance to our destination?"

"Two and a half kilometers, sir"

"Get ready, John, let's go."

John and Alex moved into the back of the truck, once there everyone stood at attention, the large screen displayed the same information Alex was seeing on his tablet .

"I want everyone to pay close attention to my explanation, I do not intend to repeat myself and I hope that each of you fulfills your role in full."

Hearing Alex's words, everyone, including Sandra and the boy with extravagant hair, shuddered. The majesty of a king was not something they could bear at their current level. Even John felt a bit of that effect.

Alex's eyes swept over each of the hunters and civilian professionals under his command.

"As you can see on the map, we are about 2 kilometers from our destination, from this point on all hunters follow my lead to this residence"

Alex showed a small, ordinary-looking residence, only there were several underground floors where the kidnapped girls were very possibly being kept.

"Our mission is to rescue. Several awakened girls, most of them without star level, are being held in this residence against their will. We must bring the 14 girls back safely."

Alex glanced at the doctors on standby and spoke to them.

"When the hostages are brought back to the truck, you are to follow protocol and treat any illnesses they may have, do you understand?"

"Yes sir," all the doctors responded in unison.

"Three of you were on duty protecting the truck and the entire Civilian professional team"

Alex pointed to three hunters, one of them raised his hand, Alex motioned for him to speak.

"Sir, wouldn't it be better if all the hunters acted together? We didn't know what kind of traps we would find, and leaving three of us guarding the truck doesn't seem like an effective way to use the resources at hand."

Alex looked at the young hunter with the flamboyant hair who had spoken and who had been assigned to guard the truck and answered without giving much explanation.

"No, three of us need to stay here and that's it."

"But sir"

"You want to defy my order?" Alex gave the hunter a cold look and said coldly.

"No sir, I wouldn't dare" the young man took a step back not daring to look Alex in the eyes, the blue haired girl gave a small smile when she saw such a scene.

"That's what I thought, but does anyone have any doubts?" only silence could be heard.

"Pay close attention to each of your roles, I want everyone to work together."

8 Hunters from the association were on top of a small hill looking down at a residence, security guards were patrolling the area around the residence, surveillance cameras were pointing in various directions.

According to the classes and skills each one possessed, Alex pointed around the residence showing where each of the hunters should stay.

"Feliciana, John and I will go in first, the 5 of you stand by in your designated locations, as soon as I give the signal you can invade the residence, if anyone escapes from the residence on your side you deal with them"

Alex looked at Feliciana, the blue-haired girl, and asked a question that sounded more like a statement.

"Feliciana, you learned the concealment and location spell, right?"

The girl nodded shyly, looking around, holding tightly to her staff.

"Yes sir, I do."

"Great. Can you keep two spells active covering three moving people?"

Hearing Alex's question, Feliciana seemed to pale a little before answering after two breaths.

"I can only do this for a minute and it will only work properly if the people covered by the spell don't use any skills," she said apologetically.

John seemed to want to say something, but since Alex was the leader and hadn't asked for any opinions yet, he remained silent.

"A minute should be enough." Alex nodded, which made the girl relax a little.

"Make sure your cameras are on and transmitting, if something happens while the three of us are inside you can communicate directly with the command center"

Everyone including Alex took out their cameras that were attached to their suit next to their chest, checked the communication channel before finally moving on to the next topic.

"As soon as we are inside the residence, Feliciana will immediately use the spell to locate the hostages and the kidnappers. Based on the intelligence we gather inside, I will give orders for all of you to act accordingly."

Alex looked at his people and asked, he knew his plan was something simple especially because he was not a strategist and also had no leadership training.

"Leader, what if her spell fails to locate the hostages or leads them straight into a trap, what will we do then?" One of the hunters asked, looking at Feliciana.

"As far as I know, Feliciana just graduated, and newly graduated mages don't have experience casting spells in the crossfire. Some of them tend to freeze when casting their spell."

Hearing what the young man was saying, Alex thought for a moment and looked at Feliciana and John before speaking again.

"I'm aware of this fact, I read her file, I don't believe she'll freeze when the time comes, right Feliciana?"

Seeing the confidence Alex conveyed in her gaze, the girl said with resolution in her eyes.

"Any other questions?"
