Ved opened his eyes, he had seen enough. He didn't kill the humans and left them there. He actually detonated his blood clones and spread a poisonous cloud around them.

This was to make sure nobody interfered and rescues them for the time being. He wanted them to keep suffering, to experience the pain of their victims over and over again until their minds break.

He sighed, ' What have I become?' the fact that he was this cool after, not just seeing but being the cause of such gruesome scenes terrified him.

He feared he was losing his sense of morality. He unfurled his wings and took to the skies, the sun rays reflected his dark scales as black as the blackest night.

He turned north and shot off, the air exploded around him as he cut through the sky like a missile.

On the way he saw a few human villages surrounded by wooden walls, the strongest people amongst them were around rank 2, some only had a few rank 1 holders.

Fortunately for them they lived in areas with very scarce essence energy so the demonic beasts around were also weak.

Ved ignored those places and continued flying north. The further away from human civilization the more spiritual beasts he saw.

Small groups, the largest was around 100 and they were all from a family of meerkat the size of dogs.

A month passed like that, during that month he had seen a few spiritual beasts groups beings assaulted or enslaved by humans.

He repeated his punishment a few more times, eventually the rumours started to spread, rumours of a guardian beast that avenge the unjustly persecuted spiritual beasts.

The rumour did not just spread amongst beasts but humans as well, he heard humans talk about him like he was some myth to scare children, when he flew above a small town.

The humans were whispering his name in fear, he almost laughed when he heard what they called him, The Beast of Vengeance, they whispered in hushed tones.

Some called him the Shaper Of Nightmares, due to his method of torture. To be honest he did not dislike these monikers, they sounded cool, he felt his ego skyrocket.

However his mood suddenly changed, he came to a troubling realisation in this past month, the beasts were too scattered.

The reason humans could dominate them so easily was because the humans were more united, even with internal conflicts, they would still put aside their differences to deal with outside threats.

However beasts were not like that at all, they fight amongst themselves and relish the death of their foes even if they were vanquished by humans.

Ved intended to change that. At the same time, the human leaders were having a headache with this beast of Vengeance, no matter how hard they tried, they couldn't understand how he did what it did.

They didn't find any traces of him or his method on the his victims, as he had intended.

At the same time, all the avatars recieved the memories sent by Ved 3.

Ved 2 was lying stomach flat on a giant disk of wax floating dozens of kilometres in the air, next to him was a mountain of roasted meat.

The disk was camouflaged so the people below did not see him. He had gotten overly fond of this trait, it was very useful and insanely powerful.

To this day he hadn't met a single creature that was able to sense him through soul sense.

He watched the massive battle below him like it was a movie, occassionally ripping off a piece of meat on the mountain next to him.

Tens of thousands of spiders the sizes of small dogs and cats were attacking a human city, behind the army of spiders was a giant black spider over 12 metres tall.

' Ungoliant?' he laughed at that thought, besides the fake Ungoliant stood 4 rank 3 spiders. Unlike the rest of the spider army, he noticed these four had a glimmer of life in their eight eyes.

Standing against them on the city wall was a giant of a man wearing a long grey wolf hide as a coat, not the modern fancy ones he remembered but the ancient ones, he looked like a barbarian.

The giant stone axe on his back did nothing to help against his barbaric look. Next to him were 5 rank 3 humans.

One of those humans, a woman approached him and whispered. " Sir, we have to launch the attack against the queen of spiders, at this rate we're merely wasting our resources on the mindless drones."

The man frowned then reached to his back and pulled the stone axe. " FALL BACK." he shouted and the soldiers on the ground retreated through the city gate which closed behind them.

The queen of spiders screeched, Ved thought she was calling back her army but instead, the spiders opened their mouths. " Activate the formation array."

The woman issued orders. Ved saw a three ring double layered array lit up, then hundreds of two ring single layered arrays followed to support it.

Then a golden barrier appeared around the entire city. Arrays were divided into seven grades and 9 ranks as well, the grades were represented by layers.

A single layer array represented mortal grade, a double layer which were two almost if not identical arrays stacked on top of each other represented earth grade and so on and so forth.

The rings were self explanatory, each ring represented a rank, drawn around the smaller ring, so high rank arrays were also larger unless the array or formation master reduced their scales which was not easy to do.

Ved realised why they raised the barrier. Green sludge shot out the spiders mouths. A foul stench filled the air, the ground sizzled and burnt when the green sludge touched it.

' Acid?' Ved wondered, it could also be some type of poison. However when the acid met the barrier it just slid off and fell to the ground.

Which made sense, this formation was equal to the defensive strength of a rank 3 earth grade beast that focuses on defence, perhaps even stronger.

It would be strange if these rank 1 and a few rank 2 spiders could breach it so easily. After the acid barrage ended, two powerful auras collided.

The air vibrated and most of the spiders were crushed into paste by the auras alone. This was the terror of a rank 4, their aura alone could physically hurt you.

Ved perked his head, ' This is getting fun, I wish I had popcorn.'
