Chapter 101: Sister-in-law what are you doing? (More chapters for monthly votes!)_2

"Who just made a noise? You're the one making noise."

That comment breached her defenses, bringing to mind some rather inappropriate images.

"Alright, stop wriggling. Otherwise, if there's an accidental discharge, it'll be your full responsibility."

At his words, she really did stop struggling and became quiet.

Sun Dasheng lowered his head, resting his chin on her delicate shoulder and gently inhaling the serene fragrance wafting from her swan-like neck.

"Stop moving, your beard is pricking me."

Sun Dasheng was unmoved, leaning in once more to take a deep breath. "You smell so good! How can you smell this nice?"

That comment left Xie Moyao at a loss. How could he say such a thing in broad daylight? She was so flustered that her body instantly softened.

Sun Dasheng could naturally feel it as her back pressed fully against his chest. His hand wandered downwards, moving to a perky spot and giving it a gentle squeeze.

The beauty before him let out a soft whimper, then whispered, "Don't do that!"

"Don't do what?" Sun Dasheng asked with a smile.

Xie Moyao: "..."

How could I possibly say it out loud?

When she didn't answer, Sun Dasheng refused to let her off, his hand squeezing again.

This time, the pressure was a bit too much, and she almost cried out. If she hadn't reacted quickly enough to cover her mouth, she would have given them away and been caught red-handed by the people inside.

"Are you trying to kill me?" Xie Moyao turned to glare at him angrily. "Quickly, take your hand away. Don't keep grabbing my..."

In the end, she was too shy to finish her sentence.

"Don't grab your what?" Sun Dasheng enjoyed seeing the angry frown on her face.

"You scoundrel, do you really have to make me say it? Do you have to humiliate me?"

As she spoke, a single, clear tear streamed down her cheek.

Oops. That joke went too far.

Sun Dasheng quickly let go, turning her around to pull her into a tight hug. "I'm sorry," he comforted her. "That was my fault, all my mistake. Please don't cry. I can't stand to see girls cry."

A soft "pfft" escaped her lips. It was the first time she had ever seen this man look so anxious. His expression was so amusing that it made her laugh through her tears.

Seeing her laugh, Sun Dasheng also breathed a sigh of relief. He genuinely dreaded women crying in front of him. That particular tactic never failed to work on him.

"See if you dare to mess with me again," she threatened playfully. "If you do, I'll just cry."

Looking at Xie Moyao, her eyes still glistening with tears, he surrendered with both hands raised. "My lady, as long as you don't cry, I'll agree to anything. Alright?"

"Really, anything?" Xie Moyao asked.

"Of course!" Sun Dasheng replied.

"Then, can you marry me?" Xie Moyao's words were a knockout blow that struck him speechless.

Sun Dasheng fell silent.

A flicker of disappointment crossed Xie Moyao's eyes but was quickly concealed with a laugh. "Silly, I was just teasing. You already told me it's impossible for you to marry me, so how could I dare to have such extravagant thoughts? I know my place. As long as you don't forget me, that's enough."

She gently rested her head on his chest.

Somehow, she's suddenly become so sharp, he thought. Every word and action has me completely wrapped around her finger.

Seeing the cunning glint in her eyes, Sun Dasheng realized something wasn't right. Wait a minute, how did the topic get derailed to this point? I think I've fallen into her trap. She's been leading me by the nose this whole time.

"Heh heh... Good one, Xie Moyao. I almost fell for your honey trap," Sun Dasheng said, giving her bottom a playful slap. "Alright, tell me. What kind of scheme were you cooking up just now?"

Seeing she couldn't hide it, Xie Moyao feigned a cry of pain. "Don't hit me! I'll talk, I'll talk."

Sun Dasheng stopped.

"I just wanted to make you feel a little guilty so you'd treat me better in the future."

"Is that all?" Sun Dasheng asked, unconvinced.

"And... and..." Xie Moyao stammered.

There's more to it, he thought, pressing her for the rest.

Xie Moyao finally relented. "I promised my parents that I'd have a baby after getting married. But I also promised you that I wouldn't touch any man besides you. So... what are we going to do about the baby?"

After a few seconds of thought, Sun Dasheng replied, "In that case, I'll have to step in personally. What else can we do?"

"And you won't mind when our child calls another man 'Dad'?" Xie Moyao asked, carefully watching his expression.

How could I not mind? Is there any man on earth willing to let his own child call another man 'Dad'? That would be the joke of the century! But this whole issue is a huge headache. I can't possibly marry her, yet her parents, being traditional, expect her to settle down and raise a family. And she's a good daughter who respects her parents' wishes, except for that one time she was willful and fell for someone else. Now she's stuck. The man she's supposed to marry is someone she dislikes and refuses to have children with. And the man she wants to marry... can't marry her. What is she supposed to do?

Seeing the conflicted look on his face, Xie Moyao felt a surge of triumph, feeling she had finally gained the upper hand. Humph! You made me uncomfortable, so I'll return the favor.

Sun Dasheng glanced down and saw the mischievous smile playing on her lips. He knew he'd been tricked again. He immediately gave her a few more pats on the rear. "Alright, out with it. Are you messing with me again?"

"Ow! I was wrong, don't hit me!"

"Fine, I was just tricking you. How could I let our child call someone else 'Dad'? Don't worry. After I get married, I'll separate from him immediately and then get a divorce. Of course our child will call you 'Dad.' Otherwise, not getting a piece of your massive fortune would be a huge loss."

"What kind of talk is that? As long as it's my child, how could I play favorites?" A slightly embarrassed smile touched Sun Dasheng's lips.

"Hmph! Don't think I don't know what you men are thinking," she scoffed. "A child that doesn't share your last name? You probably wouldn't even want to pay child support, much less let them inherit your assets. In your dreams!"

Damn! This woman was really making him see her in a new light. She had voiced the innermost thoughts of men. How could she, a woman, understand them so well?

"Did you study psychology in college?" Sun Dasheng asked.

"Clever!" Xie Moyao's response confirmed his guess.

Can't mess with psychology majors, he thought. Best to stay on their good side.

"Hey! What's with that look? Why are you flinching away? Studying psychology doesn't give us mind-reading powers, you know. There's no way I can tell what you're thinking right now, okay?" Xie Moyao said, annoyed. Some people treat psychology like it's some kind of mystical superpower, which is a complete misconception. We just scientifically study and research common psychological phenomena. It's a far cry from the telepathy you see in the movies.

"Heh heh... Is there a problem? What was I dodging? I think a mosquito just flew by, that's all."

Watching him come up with such a lame excuse, Xie Moyao shot him an amused glance.

"Oh, right. Dodging mosquitoes. It's only early June, but I guess they're already out in full force."

Hearing her sarcastic tone, Sun Dasheng pointed at her neck and retorted, "Oh yeah? You say there are no mosquitoes? Then look at your neck. What are those, if not mosquito bites?"

Xie Moyao hurriedly took out a compact mirror. She found that her neck was indeed covered in red marks of various sizes. At a glance, they really did look like mosquito bites. But when she looked closer, her face instantly turned bright red.

She grumpily shoved the mirror back into her bag. "Pah! Mosquito bites my foot! I'd say a big, strong 'male mosquito' like you is the real culprit."

"Heh heh... Better cover those up with some foundation. Your little sister-in-law will see them when she comes out."

"You think I don't know that?" Even as he was speaking, Xie Moyao had already taken out her foundation and was dabbing at the red love bites on her neck.

"Some of those spots are hard to reach. Let me help you."

Sun Dasheng took the foundation from her and began to gently apply it. Though he was a man and unfamiliar with such things, his innate physical conditioning gave him a hand that was steadier and more meticulous than most women's. He picked it up quickly, and before long, he was applying the makeup with practiced ease.

Just then, a familiar voice called out, "Sister-in-law, what are you two doing?"
