Chapter 411: The King's Lore

The camera nun quickly moved back when she saw the team getting ready, and she frowned when she saw how unorganised they were. Even though they had all gone into the Yellow Age together, they had been fighting alone in various towns, so they never had time to work together as a team until now. The camera nun sent a message to Jason and told him about her observation, and Jason told her not to get involved and to allow them to handle things. This was only their first mission, so Jason was sure they would get better with time. The nun easily accepted Jason's words, and she went back to recording!

ROARRR!!

Another loud roar came from inside the cave before the ground started shaking as a creature ran at them. The nun quickly moved her camera towards the creature to see what it was, and she smiled when she saw a large bear with diamond claws running towards them like a bat straight out of hell! The bear looked like it was trying to charge through all of them at once, but one of the Adamantine Ants immediately came forward and stood in its way with a loud screech! The bear lowered its head, and its skin shimmered and hardened into a bright diamond matrix as it sped up and crashed into the giant Adamantine Ant!

BOOOOMM!!

The entire cave shook from the intense impact, and the bear roared in pain as it felt its diamond skin crack and shatter from the intense collision! The bear was only a mob from an Orange Gate, so at most it would be somewhere around high-level B Rank to low-level A Rank, but the ant it had collided with was a Rook Rank I that had been boosted with the 500% defensive skill that all Rooks had! The bear never even stood a fucking chance! The camera nun turned when she noticed even more bears running towards them at full speed! The superhumans all charged forward to meet with the bears, with the Legion subordinates following after them as support, and the nun jogged after them slowly while keeping the camera stable! This was going to be great content!

[Mira's House.]

"Gina, are you sure about this?"

Mira spoke up with a serious expression on her face as she watched Gina closely. The two of them were currently in the living room together, and Gina felt like she was being interrogated as she faced the intense gaze of her future mother-in-law. In truth, Mira still couldn't believe the conversation she had just gone through with Gina and Riyala a few minutes ago. When Gina told Mira that she wanted to speak to her about something important, Mira knew that it would be something related to Jason, but she thought it was just Gina needing relationship advice. Maybe Gina wanted to know how to make Jason's favourite meal, or maybe she wanted to find a good gift for Jason! But Mira could never have predicted what she heard come out of Gina's mouth. Gina wanted to share Jason with another woman, and she was basically asking Mira to accept the new development and give them her blessing.

'What in the world is that son of mine doing? When I see him again, I'll pull his ear out of his head! I didn't raise him to be such a player!'

Mira felt a great amount of anger in her heart, and all of it was directed towards Jason! Mira knew that there was no way Gina would come up with something like this without Jason's approval, so Mira was more than willing to put all the blame on her silly son! But before Mira could even put any blame on Jason, Gina had told her that all of this was actually her idea. Gina had explained how things had gone in Radagan, and she told Mira about the agreement that she had made with Riyala. Basically, Gina knew that sharing Jason would be difficult, but she wasn't against it since she knew that Riyala also cared about Jason. Gina was basically accepting Riyala as her sister-wife! It was just so shocking!

That had been a few minutes ago, and now Riyala had left both women alone so they could talk. Gina rubbed her hands slowly as she felt Mira's hawk-like eyes staring her down, and she spoke in a quiet tone.

"I'm not a hundred percent sure of it, but for some reason, I feel like I'll be okay with this. Jason loves me, I'm sure of it, and nothing is ever going to change that. Even if he has a few other women in his life, I don't think I'd mind as long as I know them and I know they aren't trying to take him away from me."

Mira ran her hand over her face and let out a deep sigh when she heard all of this. Gina's words confirmed that she was more than prepared to handle whatever would happen in the future, and Mira knew that she couldn't do anything since Gina had made up her mind like this. After all, Jason and Gina were both adults, so whatever relationship they wanted to have was totally up to them. But Mira suddenly scoffed, and a small smile spread on her face as she remembered something from the past.

"I can't believe this is happening again. I knew that boy was just like his father, but I didn't think it was to this extent."

Gina blinked in surprise, and she quickly asked Mira what she meant by that. Mira sighed once again before she folded her hands on her lap and spoke.

"I think you already know that Richard wasn't human, so this shouldn't come as a surprise. You see, before Richard met me, he already had many other wives. He was the King of the Avaran Race in a distant world, so he was more than powerful enough to attract many women. If I remember correctly, I think he had twelve wives before he came to Earth."

"Twelve!?"

Gina couldn't stop the shock that passed through her once she heard that number! She already knew that it would be difficult for her to accept even one more person in their relationship, so she couldn't believe how it would have felt for Mira! How in the world did Mira even handle that many women being around her husband!? Gina asked this question to Mira, and Mira just shrugged and smiled.

"I loved him. I loved him so much that it just didn't matter to me, really. He came clean about all his other wives on our first date, and I was too shocked to even say anything at first. But I could feel he really cared for me, and I knew he had all the traits I wanted in a lover, so I agreed to become his thirteenth wife. I've only run into one of his other wives, and that was a long time ago, long before you and Jason were even born. She's a noble from a distant world, and she was a lot older than me, but she was really nice. I haven't met any of his other wives since many of them live in different worlds, but Richard said that I'll eventually meet them when the time is right."

Gina sat back in slight shock. She couldn't believe how similar Mira's story was to her own. It was almost surreal to know that Mira had gone through the same process that Gina was currently going through, and for a moment, Gina wondered if Mira ever felt jealousy or anger when she remembered that her husband had other women out there. But Mira just waved her hand when Gina asked this.

"Of course, I felt it at first. I wanted to be the only one he cared about, but when I saw how amazing he was as a boyfriend, as a husband, and then as a father, I couldn't help but fall even deeper in love with him."
