"Damn, these wraiths are annoying," Klaus said as he ducked low, evading a sweeping strike from a Nirvana stage Wraith.

Behind him, 25 other Wraiths had lunged at him.

Klaus wasn't overwhelmed or pushed back. He was just too strong and powerful to be suppressed by a bunch of Wraiths.

However, while he was strong, the Wraiths weren't rainbows and sunshines either. They were monsters, and Klaus, who had already sensed their danger, was doing his best not to let them touch him.

"These wraiths are different. They can dodge and even retreat at will," Hanna said, watching as three wraiths lunged at her. She had already killed three out of the ten she was facing.

However, despite her win, she seemed hesitant to let them approach her.

"Don't let them touch you. They have acidic hands that burn like hell," Klaus said, grabbing the bony hands of a wraith, acid dripping from its palm.

"And they are much more poisonous too." The moment Klaus grabbed its hands, the wraith struck with the other, aiming for Klaus's face.

"No, you don't." Klaus formed chains made from void energy and latched them onto the wraith's hands. Then a spear formed and went through its chest.

"This is fascinating. The moment they die, some of their energy is absorbed into the Void Vortex." Klaus noticed a subtle change that only he seemed to have figured out.

The Wraiths weren't dying like the earlier ones they had killed. These ones were much denser and very strange in appearance. It was almost as if they were humans rather than wraiths.

However, their kills were still being regarded as wraiths, so they could only go with that.

After a couple of minutes, Klaus sensed he had reached the High Affinity Void Law stage based on the message he had received.

He told Icon to stop showing messages about his kills and only register changes, like when he leveled up or when something other than killing happened.

Just now, he received a couple of messages. However, with a few more wraiths left to kill, he could only wait till the battle came to an end.

Thankfully, the battle did end a couple of minutes later. He used the Void Energy to finish off all 32 Wraiths he had faced.

In the end, his wives had finally seen what it felt like to face beings that made no logical sense. Klaus sneakily allowed them to experience this battle firsthand because he had plans for them after they left the void region.

"That was intense," Vida said, sweat forming on her forehead. Hanna and Kathy nodded to her words. They were Nirvana stage warriors themselves, so facing ten Nirvana stage warriors wasn't easy.

Thankfully, they managed it.

"It is only going to grow even more intense, so prepare for good and harrowing battles." The ladies nodded with a sigh. They were, after all, there to protect their man, so fighting harrowing monsters was only right for them.

"Let's move close to the Vortex."

After a few seconds, Klaus and his wives were only 20 meters away from the Vortex. Of course, they would love to move closer, but it seemed there was something blocking them.
