Tree Spirit Mother World, World Tree.
"Saint, the master has agreed to meet, He is currently in my world."
Listening to Lar's reply, the Spirit Medicine Saint's mood suddenly became excited.
"Great, no, it should be too great. Where's your world? I'll head over there right away!"
As he spoke, the Spirit Medicine Saint's leaves trembled, the life energy around him surged like tides, wave after wave, even the demonized plants on the nearby shelves came to life.
"Shouldn't you prepare a little?"
Lar was slightly stunned, he initially thought the Spirit Medicine Saint would prepare a bit, maybe bring some treasures or spiritual medicine as offerings.
But unexpectedly, the Spirit Medicine Saint was ready to set off, as if he couldn't wait even for a moment.
"Prepare what? Oh right, you reminded me."
The Spirit Medicine Saint seemed to remember something, immediately split the space, and entered his Secret Realm.
Moments later, he walked out again, casually tossing Lar a branch full of life energy.
"Here you go, I've prepared the gift, it's guaranteed to be a rare treasure."
Lar was stunned, reflexively catching the branch. The next moment, he realized what the Spirit Medicine Saint had given him.
"I can't accept this, I can't accept this, I'm just a messenger, how can I receive such a precious treasure from you."
Lar held the branch with a white bone branch, his attitude extremely respectful. What the Spirit Medicine Saint gave him was nothing else but a branch from the Great World Tree.
"Just take it, people outside might think it's precious, but in reality, it's just so-so." The Spirit Medicine Saint replied casually.
"This kind of branch sheds from the Mother Tree daily, countless don't know, the reason it is precious is simply because ordinary tree spirits can't access the Mother Tree."
Lar was a bit astonished, hesitated for a moment, but still accepted the branch.
No choice, even a small piece of the Great World Tree's branch could greatly aid a tree spirit's evolution.
After accepting the gift, the Spirit Medicine Saint's apprentice, Lar's good brother Quila, entered the Alchemy Room.
"Teacher, can we go to see the master?"
The eyes on Quila's trunk were expectantly bursting with light, the super degraded version of the Life Virus exchanged by Richard made them study tirelessly these days.
He was filled with anticipation to meet the virus' creator.
"We're heading there now, behave yourself when you meet the master."
"Yes, teacher!"
Exiting the World Tree, the group soon arrived at the interdimensional passage in the Tree Spirit Mother World.
The Tree Spirit Mother World, or the entire Natural Federation, relies on the transportation system named the World Root System for interdimensional travel.
And the creator of this system is the Mother Tree of Tree Spirits—the Great World Tree.
Entering the Root System, the three tree spirits embarked on a root passage. Throughout the passage, the three tree spirits constantly changed direction, entered one intersection after another, closely following Lar.
The World Root System has become extremely complex through years of development; a slight misstep might lead to being lost in the system for years, even decades.
The Natural Federation has even seen cases where caravans were lost to the point of dying of old age due to map errors in the Root System.
Traveling for two months across several worlds, the three finally arrived in Lar's world.
Looking at the lush forest below Lar, even the Spirit Medicine Saint was slightly impressed.
He didn't expect the mysterious Blood and Flesh Red Shirt to manage such a thriving world.
The World Root System directly connects to the World Tree, taking a few steps after leaving the roots, they entered the interior of the World Tree.
Lar's former laboratory had its doors tightly closed, faint energy waves emanated from within, suggesting intense experiments were underway.
"Is the master refining medicine within?"
Spirit Medicine Saint looked at the tightly closed door, suddenly feeling a hint of nervousness.
He speculated about the unknown alchemy master's power, if nothing unexpected, the one he was about to meet should be a quasi-Dominator who's formed a dimensional prototype.
Of course, there was an extremely small chance that he would be facing a Dominator.
But whether Dominator or quasi-Dominator, it would be very easy for them to pose a threat to him.
Was he too rash coming here?
"No, Miracle master is just conducting experiments."
As he spoke, Lar rang the laboratory's doorbell.
Dong!
Accompanied by a crisp bell sound, the energy waves emanating from within the laboratory suddenly ceased.
The laboratory doors then opened, and a voice carrying the calmness characteristic of a master could be heard from within.
"Back so soon? Come in."
Lar glanced at the Spirit Medicine Saint, noticing the Saint's branches were slightly trembling.
"Saint? Saint! Going in."
"Oh, oh!"
Spirit Medicine Saint gazed at the wide-open laboratory door, feeling like it was a gateway to Hell.
Every cell in his body was filled with fear, as if crossing that door would lead to his utter destruction.
"Stay focused, Carlo, don't embarrass the Mother Tree!" the Spirit Medicine Saint encouraged himself internally.
"Isn't it just a Dominator? It's not like you haven't seen one before!"
With that thought, he led Kyra and walked trembling into the laboratory.
The laboratory was pure white; after Richard's renovations, Lar's laboratory had expanded significantly, and the walls were covered with pure white purified copper metal plates.
A lot of Richard's research involved viruses, and these purified copper metal plates could effectively kill viruses.
In the center of the lab, Richard stood in front of the test bench, holding a test tube containing a few drops of dark green liquid.
Noticing the Spirit Medicine Saint entering the lab, Richard put down the test tube, turned, and smiled, "So you are the Spirit Medicine Saint?"
"No, no... I'm not deserving of such a title, just call me Carlo," the Spirit Medicine Saint stammered.
As he spoke, his eyes were fixated on the test tube with the dark green liquid next to Richard's hand.
He realized he was truly foolish, thinking his fear came from the Dominator before him.
Why would a Dominator frighten a World Master? His fear stemmed only from the experimental product in the Dominator's hand!
Richard noticed Carlo's gaze and glanced along his line of sight.
Seeing Carlo looking at his experimental product, a hint of surprise flashed in his eyes.
"You truly deserve to be called the finest Alchemist of the Tree Spirit Clan; though your skills aren't the best, your discerning eye is quite impressive."
The liquid in this test tube was the latest variant of the Life Virus. Richard was planning to use this virus as a base, then degrade it for use as a physique enhancer for World Masters.
If successful, the Wizard Alliance would have its first technology more advanced than the Predecessor Civilization Alliance.
Carlo did not respond, he just stiffly drew open a spatial tear with his branch, retrieving the gifts he had prepared in advance.
"Sir, I've come to visit with a small token, and I hope you won't find it unworthy."
Richard glanced at the gifts Carlo handed over; there were three in total. The first was a fruit of a Dominator Level World Tree, the second was a large mass of Pure Ether Liquid Crystal, and the third was an extremely complex Crystal Creation.
Richard's gaze lingered on the final Crystal Creation for a moment, then he smiled, "You've been quite generous."
"I'm glad you don't mind."
"So, what do you want?" Richard asked calmly, "This gift isn't just for a casual visit."
Upon hearing this, Carlo immediately forced himself to gather his wits and said, "I want to learn your Alchemy Technique, even if just a little."
"Alchemy Technique... What you want doesn't come cheap," Richard looked at Carlo with interest, "You should know, the most expensive thing under this starry sky is knowledge.
Your gifts, although excellent, are far from enough to exchange for knowledge."
Hearing this, Carlo felt a chill in his heart. He had already offered his finest treasures, and even so, was it still not enough to gain the Dominator's Alchemy Technique?
"However, your timing is quite fortuitous. I happen to need someone to act as an intermediary."
"An intermediary?"
"Yes, I need someone to connect me to the Great World Tree. I believe you can manage that."
Carlo was slightly startled and asked, somewhat shakily, "What do you want to see the Mother Tree for?"
The Great World Tree was undoubtedly the core of the Natural Federation; the interdimensional transportation of the Natural Federation relied entirely on the World Root System of the Great World Tree.
If anything happened to the Great World Tree, the entire Natural Federation would be in big trouble.
But Richard just chuckled at his concern.
"You suggest I'm to connect with it to assassinate the Great World Tree? Do you really think the Great World Tree is that fragile?"
Upon hearing this, Carlo realized he had said something foolish.
The Mother Tree, being the strongest in the Natural Federation, had no one, not even the Emperor of the Curse Demon Clan, who could claim superiority over it.
This distinguished individual before him likely wished to meet the World Tree for an exchange or to make an acquaintance.
"I was being foolish," Carlo shook his trunk, "If you wish to meet the Mother Tree, I can indeed act as an intermediary. The Mother Tree likely won't reject an exchange with a Dominator from a different civilization."
"Very well."
Richard sketched a drawer in the air, taking out a test tube filled with a crimson liquid.
"This is your reward."
Richard tossed the liquid over, and Carlo hastily caught it, using his spiritual power to scan it, discovering it contained a terrifying virus.
In this virus, Carlo sensed a deadly threat,
"Once things are accomplished, you'll receive what you desire."
Carlo pointed to the viral solution in his hand, struggling to find words.
"This, this..."
Richard spoke nonchalantly, "The last thing I gave you was derived from the degradation of this. Be careful during your research, although it's a degraded version, it can still easily kill a Sixth-level World Master."
Saying this, Richard casually pocketed the three gifts Carlo had brought.
Upon hearing this, Carlo bowed to Richard at a thirty-degree angle.
"Thank you, sir! I'll contact the Mother Tree immediately and will get back to you as soon as possible!"
