He Became A Monstrous Genius After Obtaining A Time Dilation Artifact

Chapter 365 . Clown

Francisca Harker stood before the holographic screen with an extremely shocked expression on her face.

The whole room was eerily silent. No one dared to speak a word.

They knew that anything they said right now could spell their doom.

She was in an extremely bad mood.

Also, most importantly, she was in shock.

"I knew that Enna wouldn't commit suicide, and there was more to her death. I had my doubts, but to think …hahahahahah" A self depreciative laughter fell out of her mouth, tears of helplessness streaming down her face.

At this point, she was too engrossed in her emotions and thoughts to even care about showing a weak demeanor before her clan members.

"It all makes sense now. This kid is a fucking Black Flask. Since Enna was a beginner stage galactic lifeform, the poison that killed her was probably his doing" She chuckled maniacally, self depreciative. "How he managed to pull it off covertly by evading academy scrutiny is what I'm honestly confused about. But what does it matter now? There was no visible proof that he killed her."

Francisca sighed helplessly. She was angry, and mad at herself for offending Kailen Darkhaven. Not only that, she felt extremely frustrated about the whole situation.

She chuckled self ingratiatingly. "So what, now the academy and everyone in the empire can obviously infer that he killed my sister, but there's no evidence that can be used against him. What a terrifying kid. Offending him was a really wrong move. Also, now that he's a Black Flask, I'm not a match for him. How laughable. To think a seventeen year old has played me.

Also, the Alchemy Association will openly come forward to support him, without leaving any reservations."

Another terrifying realization dawned on Francisca. "Will he be coming for me?"

"He's finally beginning to act," Charles said with a smirk.

"He's a Black Flask huh," Micheal shook his head. Kailen was really something else.

"I would have been more shocked if he wasn't," Angela suddenly spoke.

Figuring out her train of thought, Lee added, "Yeah right. Thanks to the poisons of Kailen from earth, we were able to deal a lot of damage to the diabolic beasts during the war at the border."

Phila nodded. "Technically, it shouldn't be strange that since he's already familiar with poisons from earth, being a Black Flask after becoming an alchemist should not be too surprising."

Arrie shook her head and added, "You guys have a point. However, being a Black Flask is on another level. Those poisons Kailen was able to make on earth are simply trash compared to how monstrous an achievement it is for an actual alchemist to become a Black Flask. This is because starting from the realm of a rank 1 alchemist, the area of poisons naturally become extremely difficult to venture into, lest even master."

Phoebe added, "Arrie is right. This basically has nothing to do with whether or not one could make poisons before they became a rank 1 alchemist. Kailen is simply a monster."

Everyone nodded in understanding.

Kailen was someone who always defied common sense.

However this also put a sense of urgency on them.

They had to do everything possible to increase their strength.

In the corner of the room, a little girl could be seen staring at a holographic screen with sparkling eyes.

A particular individual could be gently seen giving her some kind of directions as he pointed towards various aspects of the holographic screen.

"What are those two doing?" Kim couldn't help but point towards their direction.

Everyone turned to look at Charles who had suddenly disappeared with little Feli to a corner in the room.

"He's walking her through how to place bets on Kailen," Arrie casually said as she bobbed her head to some pop music playing in the room.

Immediately, the temperature of the room seemed to drop.

Everyone stared at Phila and gulped a mouthful of saliva.

They knew how terrifying she could be when she was pissed.

Most of the people in the room were awakeners, but Phila's bad mood could even give them the chills — it was like how a military powerhouse whose words could command several troops could be afraid of getting scolded by his wife.

Micheal was about to tell his wife to relax but on seeing the expression on her face, he rather widened the gap between them and shifted to the other side of the sofa, in fear of not being the focus of the direction of her anger.

"Did this fucker just teach my little girl gambling?" Phila yelled.

Luckily, someone unintentionally saved Charles from impending trouble.

Reynolds shouted quickly, "Quickly, look at what's happening."

Everyone's attention returned back to the holographic screens.

*****

Samaron didn't know how to process what he was watching at the moment.

Kailen Darkhaven was just floating somewhere away from the forest with his hands in his pockets, as supreme stage ascendant level spawned creatures were dying like a bunch of chickens to his poisons.

With just a single act, Kailen Darkhaven had overtaken every president of the society in the society wars. What made him more terrifying was that he didn't risk his life to battle enemies like the other society presidents.

His method was extremely unconventional and terrifying.

For fuck's sake, he was just a rank 1 beginner stage ascendant level lifeform, why did he have to be a black flask and become so terrifying?

Not to mention that the person he was thanking for the death of Enna Harker was the person he hated the most right now, Kailen Darkhaven!

"I have been really stupid. I sold my soul to a vimodial to become strong enough to get rid of him, only to realize he's a Black Flask— which changes everything. I am no match for rank 1 Black Flask," Samaron sighed, facing the bitter truth.

At this point, his revenge against Kailen Darkhaven was simply a waste of time.

Also, now that Kailen's capabilities as a Black Flask has been revealed, even if Samaron dared to try something against Kailen, the alchemy association would be openly backing him.

"Unless… unless I can let him experience the pain of loss I've experienced by killing Arrie Hal. I just need to find out where she is."

A glint of ruthlessness flashed through Samaron's eyes as he spoke.

"As for my stupid wife, she's doomed, it's only a matter of time before Kailen Darkhaven kills her." His eyes narrowed with ruthlessness. "This is not the outcome I envisioned. But at least, whether she dies by my hands or not, death is death." He mused outwardly in his spaceship, voice melancholic. "Also, reuniting with my children in the after life may not be too bad."

" Are you really going to throw everything away because of him?"

The voice of the vimodial rung in his mind.

" The deal included making you powerful enough to get rid of him, but don't you think you can readjust your mindset? Can't you let the flames of your revenge die? Can't you focus on growing stronger for just survival sake?

Samaron scoffed inwardly " Don't act like you have my best interests at heart. We both know that the more I use your power, the more you gain control over my consciousness. You are only telling me this because you want me to keep feeding and using your power so that you can completely take over my consciousness one day. I'm just a pawn for you, and frankly , the plan I just came up with, is better than what you have to offer"

" Tsk! How pathetic "

Ignoring the annoyed and enraged voice of the Vimodial , Samaron pulled up a list of intelligence organisations on the dark web.

It was time to figure out where Arrie Hall was, and deal Kailen Darkhaven a heavy blow.

****

Kailen's eyes suddenly narrowed in the secret realm, as he observed Samaron through the eyes of hound 2, having been sent to covertly observe Samaron's movements, after Kailen managed to track his location by employing the help of an intelligence agency on the dark web. He could have utilised the help of the Atrexians or even the alchemy association for this but, he chose to handle this covertly on his own because as much as he personally trusted Old Ha, he didn't trust the alchemy association completely, and although he had faith in Zarek and didn't doubt the sincerity of the Atrexians towards him, he just didn't want to take any chances.

After all ,inasmuch as he knew these organisations were sincere , he didn't have any rune oaths signed concerning the special assistance these organisations were giving him .

One good thing, however about the dark web was that customer secrets were never leaked, as there were rune oaths that were automatically signed at the end of every transaction.

So Kailen found them a better option for this kind of situation.

Kailen scoffed inwardly.

"Samaron err. How naive. Did you really think that after finding out you had left your wife, right after I aided your daughter to commit suicide, I wouldn't catch on that you were probably secretly plotting revenge against me?" A glint of ruthlessness flashed through his eyes.

"Now, you want to kill Arrie huh, self detonate yourself with her? What a clown. Have false hope, and when you think you have me by the throat, I will enjoy crushing you in the most painful way possible."
