Adam has not been pushed so much. Rangsan is clearly trying to push Adam and see where his limit is.
But to his surprise, Adam continues to throw hands with his experienced amateur fighters without breaking a sweat.
Adam is already on his 14th round, and he is sparring against someone who has 13 wins, 2 losses, and 3 draws under his belt.
But if anyone looks at them sparring, no one would think Adam is the one with no experience, since he is still going at it as if it's the first round, while the experienced fighter is the one who is breathing heavily and getting sloppy with his punches and footsteps.
This has opened him up to more punches from Adam, who has been nailing him with punch after punch.
Sure, these punches have no power behind them, but if you continue to get tagged over and over again, it's going to affect you.
Even though he had time to rest between rounds as other fighters took over, he is clearly very exhausted, as this is his sixth round, and for some reason, he is having a harder time sparring against a kid who hasn't had a single fight under his belt than other amateur fighters.
While the fighter is feeling his lungs get heavy from exhaustion, Adam just has a few sweat beads on his forehead, but he is not exhausted at all. It's just his body keeping him cool and maintaining an optimal body temperature.
Adam realizes how stupidly broken he is because his body refuses to get exhausted, and it's the biggest cheat one can have if they are pursuing a career in fighting.
Adam looks at the man who is sweating, huffing, and puffing before him, the man has lost all the strength behind his punches and kicks. Adam knows that if he tried to put him down, he would go down as easily as a sandbag.
Adam even starts feeling a little sorry for the poor guy, as he is clearly not built to go this long.
While the spar gets easier and easier for Adam by the second, Rangsan watches with gleaming eyes, watching Adam stay flawless in his movements, punches, and kicks, making him realize that even after having very high expectations for Adam, he still underestimated him.
Rangsan has never seen someone with such monstrous stamina and endurance as Adam.
Rangsan can already picture how troublesome Adam would be to deal with for his future opponents. A monster who doesn't get tired, now that's something the world has never seen.
This makes even Rangsan wonder what kind of freakish genetic experiment is Adam that allows him to be such a monster.
Well, Rangsan doesn't care because Adam here is going to bring him a world championship under his name, and Rangsan wants nothing more.
"Okay, that's enough," Rangsan says and rings the bell as the 14th round comes to an end.
As soon as the other fighter hears the bell ring, he feels like the happiest man alive and rolls out of the ring and immediately lies down on the floor, while Adam looks at the poor man with pity.
Instead of putting him through hell, Rangsan managed to torture these poor souls.
Well atleast, Adam picked up a lot of things during the sparring. He honed his movements and got better at predicting his opponent's next move.
But this is still a lot more for Adam to learn; today was just strike sparring, tomorrow would probably be grappling, that's going to be another hell of a training session.
Adam rolls out of the ring and stands before Rangsan.
"Your training is coming up great, if you continue getting at this pace, forget about a month, you would be ready in half, HAHAHAHA," Rangsan says, and laughs enthusiastically while slapping Adam's arm.
Adam looks at Rangsan's behavior and feels awkward. He liked it when Rangsan pretended to be this cold, aloof, mysterious, one-word speaking man, but now he tries to cosy up with Adam all the time.
"So, this fight I am going to have, who is it with?" Adam asks.
"Does it really matter? You are going to smoke whoever stands in front of you," Rangsan says confidently.
"But shouldn't I know who I am fighting?" Adam asks.
"Well, if you were a profession with a famous name, then yes. But this will be your first fight, and it's in a local scene. You will know when you know. Sometimes it's two weeks before, sometimes it's on the day of the weigh-in. This happens a lot in the amateur fighting circle; fighters often pull out, and local promoters just want to fill up the card. Whoever is ready to fight, they will throw them in the ring," Rangsan says.
"That sounds.... not so professional..." Adam says.
"It's not, but it is how it is; you won't get professional treatment until you don't make a name for yourself," Rangsan says.
"And how do I do that?" Adam asks.
"Well, the most common method is to get a lot of wins under your belt, and the second is social media. If you have an audience, the promoters might notice it and treat you a little better so that you can bring them more audience," Rangsan says.
'I did open a social media page; I wonder how it is doing,' Adam wonders as he hasn't checked his Fastgram account for a while now.
"You don't worry about who you are gonna fight, just continue to do what I tell you, and before you know it, you are gonna have a title around your waist," Rangsan says.
"If you say so... About this local tournament? How big is it? How many people around going to be there?" Adam asks.
Now that he is taking fighting seriously, he wants to know more.
"Well, it's just a local tournament, and the main event is between two very well-known local fighters, so it should be around three to four hundred people. You make a good impression, and some of them might become your lifelong fans," Rangsan says.
"Anything else?" He asks.
"Nothing for now, need to head back to work," Adam says and heads to the shower. After cleaning up, he drives back to work.

Arriving at the restaurant, he finds Leila and Cassie already starting the second shift. He clearly got caught up in training for much longer this time.
Well, it's not like he missed anything; the store looks empty, and without him, the girls look bored.
They don't seem to be in a talking mood either, after the new dynamic that now exists.
With him being physically intimate with Leila has made them closer, but this has caused Cassie to get jealous, which Leila also picked up as she is not dumb.
She has seen Cassie eye Adam many times, but she has also seen other women do it as well, so Leila was totally okay with acting as if nothing happened.
But Cassie started acting a little bitchy, which Leila doesn't appreciate, and since she is also very straight with her words, Leila called out Cassie on her bullshit, and now the girls don't talk to each other unless Adam is present.
Adam walks into the store, and both the girls immediately perk up.
They get to their feet and approach him.
"Where were you?" Leila asks.
"You never come this late," Cassie chimes in.
"Well, I was training. I am going to have my first amateur fight in a month, so I need to lock in," Adam says.
The girls are surprised by this piece of news.
"Wait, you are fighting for real?" Leila asks.
"Yes," Adam answers.
"I thought you did MMA just for fun," Leila says.
"Well, it started with me just being casual about it, but my coach thinks I shouldn't be wasting my talent because I am too good, so I said yes," Adam says, smiling proudly.
"Are you sure? Isn't the sport very dangerous?" Cassie asks.
"I am, plus I am really good at it. It would be a waste for me not to give it a go, and if it doesn't turn out well, then I will quit early before I seriously hurt myself," Adam says.
"But what if you get seriously hurt on your very first try?" Leila asks, showing much more concern than Cassie.
Cassie really doesn't care if Adam gets hurt or not; in fact, she finds it very hot.
She likes a man who is strong and can handle himself, and what's better than someone who knows how to fight and beat up others.
Leila, on the other hand, is not a violent person, even though her dressing sense would make people think otherwise. She is, after all, dressed like an emo goth chick who likes pain and violence.
Yes, she likes pain, but only when she is on the receiving end. She doesn't want to see her lover get beaten up by others.
"Don't worry, first amateur fights are very easy, and like I said, I am very good," Adam says.
"Well, if you are serious about this, then I support you," Leila says.
"Thank you," Adam says with a smile.
"So when is this fight happening? I wanna see it," Cassie asks excitedly.
"8th of October," Adam says.
"Good luck, I am rooting for you~" Cassie says as she wraps her hands around Adam's arms and presses her breast against his.
Leila sees Cassie getting touchy with Adam and gets annoyed, but she controls herself. Now is not the time for her to start an argument, especially in front of Adam.
She doesn't want Adam to see the ugly side of her.
