"So the hero saved all the innocent people of the Deter Kingdom's capital."
"The king and ministers of the Deter Kingdom heroically held off the demons to allow the people of their kingdom to escape."
"The demon king is real."
Reading the reports that were in front of me, I couldn't help shaking my head with a faint smile.
Then looking at the three that were involved in this matter, I couldn't help asking, "How do you feel about all of this?"
Val Zahar was the first one to speak as he turned to look at Gran Jurad to say, "I think that it went quite well. I especially liked the part where I got to see you running with your tail tucked between your legs."
As soon as he said this, Gran Jurad immediately turned to glare at him.
However, Val Zahar just looked back at him with the same smile on his face as if he wasn't bothered by the way that Gran Jurad was glaring at him.
The two of them were fighting like cat and dog, but there was nothing that we could do to stop them since that was just how they had always been.
"It's a good thing that we were able to bring that dark elf to our side." Aragon suddenly added all of a sudden.
"That's right, that really is an unexpected gain." I said in support of him.
Val Zahar and Gran Jurad glared at each other one more time before turning away from each other.
Val Zahar then said, "But it's not as if we were able to bring her to our side completely. For now, it seems that she's just spreading the word to the rest of the dark elves and they still have a wait and see attitude."
"We knew that this would happen, so it isn't as if there's anything for us to lose here." I said with a nod since this was expected.
It would be strange for the dark elves to suddenly jump on the side of a fledgling demon king.
There were still those powerful tribes in the demon race after all that were still fighting over the seat.
"I still think that this is too early. If you expose yourself like this, all that will happen is that you'll get targeted by those top tribes." Gran Jurad said this all of a sudden.
"That's what we want." I said in response.
Gran Jurad narrowed his eyes hearing this, but he didn't say anything else in the end.
The person in question didn't seem worried about this, so it didn't seem like it was necessary for him to say anything else.
After all, Val Zahar still acted like he had everything under control.
"Eru still hasn't made a move yet after bringing us back. It's clear that he has a special position among the demons, but he still hasn't made a move after all this time. I think that we can use this to force him to do something."
Though we had gone through our memories in an attempt to find who Eru was, we hadn't been able to find anything. Even searching among the demons, we weren't able to find anything about him.
Even a tribe that was on the level of the vampires didn't actually know anything about him.
The more that we dug into him, the more confused we were about who he really was.
The only thing that we had managed to figure out was the large influence that he had among the demons. It was present in all of the meetings that we had attended.
It was as if there was something special about him that made the other demons wary of him.
Even if they didn't know anything about him.
"Regardless of where this goes, it's time that we move into the mid game. We've already spent a decent amount of time gathering up our strength, so it's time to use that strength."
All three of the avatars nodded in agreement to this.
Even the avatars that were listening in through the shared senses nodded in agreement.
This was a major point that we had reached after all.
This was the first clash between the hero and the demon king.
It meant that this plot couldn't be stopped anymore and it would soon drag the entire world into a large war.
As the demon king and the hero, as well as all these other identities, it was only natural that we would dictate the flow of this war.
"How long will it take for you to expand your influence in the wilderness?"
"I'm already working on it. Just give me a bit of time, but it isn't as if the plot will reach my neck of the woods that soon."
"It doesn't matter, we should still prepare ahead of time."
"As for the company, make sure that we aren't having the same issue as before."
"I've already vetted all of them, so there's nothing to worry about now."
This was a recap, as well as a planning session for what would come next.
But it was soon interrupted by a knock on the door.
When this knock on the door came, I made sure to send back the three summons in the room before opening the door.
Standing outside the room was Viscount Denoir.
"Come on, it's time to go to that meeting."
Since what happened last time with the high elves, my position had increased and I was brought along to a lot of the meetings by Viscount Denoir.
The others all viewed me as someone that he was grooming as his successor.
Though that wasn't strange since I was supposed to be his future son in law.
But the most important thing was that I now had access to the information that the higher ups of the Abel Kingdom had.
The Abel Kingdom was one of the strongest kingdoms among the human race.
With this information, there was no doubt that our plans would proceed more smoothly.
