Transmigrated Into the World of Magic and Swords

Chapter 315: Spar

Ren let out a soft sigh before shifting his attention to Vaelen and the others. "As you already know, I'm a Unity rank awakener. As for my age, I'm twenty-two years old."

"What?! Twenty-two?!" Vaelen and the others found it hard to believe what they were hearing.

They knew he was a special awakener since Finley, who had never accepted a disciple during his time as leader of the Moon Palace, had suddenly chosen him as his successor.

But reaching Unity rank at the age of twenty-two was still hard to believe. They had heard and met many so-called geniuses before, but none of them had ever achieved that.

Let alone reaching Unity rank in their twenties, some awakeners even could only dream of it in their entire lives because breaking through to Unity rank was really difficult.

'Twenty-two years old Unity rank warrior… He is so young, yet already so powerful.'

At this moment, Ren's body suddenly radiated golden light in their eyes, causing him to look like a divine being.

Diana grinned happily when she saw their stunned state.

"Ops! I forgot to say two more important information. Handsome has grade S talent and can master a Divine class skill in just thirty minutes." Diana liked their shocked expressions, so she revealed another shocking truth.

"Grade S talent?! Mastering a Divine class skill in just thirty minutes?!" Vaelen and the others suddenly felt dizzy because his achievements were truly unbelievable.

'Palace Master Finley, I finally understand your decision.'

They finally knew the reason why Finley chose Ren as his successor.

The corner of Ren's lips twitched when he saw his women giggling happily.

'They are enjoying this so much!'

He said in his mind.

"Young Palace Master, would you grant Cassian and Lyra the honor of sparring with you?" at first, Vaelen only wanted to introduce them to him, but he changed his mind after finding out how extraordinary he was.

Ren was a special awakener, so sparring with him would bring immense benefits to Cassian and Lyra.

Cassian and Lyra were thrilled with Vaelen's decision, but they didn't show it on their faces and only looked at Ren with hopeful eyes.

"You want me to spar with them?" Ren was a little surprised by Vaelen's request.

"Yes, Young Palace Master," Vaelen replied. "Of course, you are free to decline if you think it's not worth your time."

"Sure." Ren agreed instantly.

Both Cassian and Lyra were the future of the Blue Moon Organization, so he didn't mind giving them a few pointers.

After all, they were his subordinates, people whom he could use whenever and wherever he wanted.

"Thank you, Young Palace Master," Vaelen replied with a happy face.

At this moment, Cassian and Lyra almost could not suppress their happiness because they were going to spar with their Young Palace Master.

Ren rose from his seat and walked down the platform. "Let's head to the arena now."

One by one, they followed him from behind.

News of their spar quickly spread throughout the organization.

Even though they already knew how powerful he was, they still rushed to the arena because they didn't want to miss the fight between their most gifted disciples and their Young Palace Master.

"Who do you think will win?"

"Of course, our Young Palace Master will win. Have you forgotten how amazing his skill is?"

"But Cassian and Lyra are also powerful."

"If our Young Palace Master hadn't used his skill yesterday, Cassian and Lyra might have been able to give him a fight."

"Or maybe even defeat him. After all, they are the strongest in our generation."

"Un, un."

Some of the disciples began to predict the outcome of the spar.

Even though they knew Ren possessed a skill capable of altering the world, a few people still believed in Cassian and Lyra.

They had surrendered without a fight yesterday, so they didn't know exactly how strong Ren truly was.

"Strange! How did they know about the spar?" Diana asked curiously.

Diana, Scarlett, Ren, Vaelen, and the elders were sitting on chairs with high backrests. Before them, as well as to their left and right, the disciples sat on tiered seats.

Diana was shocked when she saw all the disciples in the arena because they didn't announce the spar earlier.

"Well, this is also good." Scarlett didn't mind it because this way, everyone would know how amazing Ren was.

After everything was ready, Ren slowly walked into the arena.

Once he was in the center of the fight zone, he turned to Cassian and Lyra. "Who will go first? Or do you want to face me together?"

Cassian and Lyra exchanged a glance with each other before returning their attention to him.

"I will face you first, Young Palace Master." After saying that, Cassian jumped onto the arena and stood in front of Ren.

Ren retrieved his sword from his space ring and said, "Let's begin."

"I'm going to attack you now, Young Palace Master." Cassian rushed toward Ren and thrust his spear forward.

However, his weapon only pierced the air because Ren moved to the left before his spear landed on his body.

"Yeah, like that. You must attack your enemy without hesitation." Ren commented.

Cassian nodded and launched another strike.

At first, he only used ordinary attacks, but within seconds, he started using his skills.

Ren didn't fight back when Cassian showered him with many attacks.

He only dodged or avoided them because he wanted to provide him with tips on improving his strikes first.

"Don't swing like that. It makes your attacks predictable." Ren said as he easily blocked Cassian's attacks. "Don't focus only on hitting me. Watch my movements and adjust your timing."

"Alright." Cassian tried to read Ren's movements and change the direction of his attacks.

Ren's lips curled up into a smile. "Your attacks are better now."

The disciples who watched the fight were stunned.

Both Ren and Cassian were at Unity rank, yet the battle seemed more like a child facing an adult.

They knew Ren was not an ordinary awakener.

However, they didn't expect the fight to be like that because Cassian was the strongest warrior of the younger generation.

"As expected of Young Palace Master, he is amazing!" the first elder stated.

"Yes." Vaelen nodded in agreement. "Young Palace Master even can make Cassian look like a kid who doesn't know how to fight."

Upon hearing their words, Diana grinned happily while Scarlett nodded in silence. Even though their praise was for Ren, they were still happy because Ren was their boyfriend.

"I've given you pointers on your attacks. Now let me test your defense." Ren changed from defense to offense.

Cassian was overwhelmed by Ren's fast and deadly attacks.

He tried his best to dodge and block Ren's strikes, but most of them landed on his body. Luckily, Ren used the back of his sword.

Otherwise, he would have been heavily injured by now.

'I can't see all of his attacks.'

He gritted his teeth and increased his focus.

But even so, the result was the same.

Ren's attacks kept landing on his body!

"Your eyes are good, but unfortunately, your body can't keep up with the speed of my attacks." Ren appeared behind Cassian and pressed the back of his sword against his neck. "You need to work on your reflexes and learn better movement skill."

Cassian turned around and cupped his fist. "Thank you for the pointers, Young Palace Master."

"Un." Ren nodded before turning to Lyra. "It's your turn now."

Lyra walked toward the battle ring immediately.

Once she was in front of Ren, she retrieved her staff from her space ring and said, "Please take care of me, Young Palace Master."

"Un." Ren nodded as he stored his sword in his space ring.

Lyra was shocked by his decision because she thought he would fight her with a sword, too.

'Why did he store his sword? Does he consider me so weak that he doesn't need his sword to fight me?'

A flicker of anger arose within her, but she suppressed it.

"Young Palace Master, why did you store your sword?" there was no sign of anger in her voice as if she were not angry at all.

"You are a mage, right? So, I will fight you as a mage, not a warrior." After saying that, he retrieved a staff from his space ring.

'It's my first time using this.'

Actually, he didn't need a staff to cast magic, but he made an exception this time.

"You will fight me as a mage?" Lyra's eyes widened in shock.

Besides Scarlett and Diana, everyone in the arena was also stunned, including Vaelen and the elders.

'As a mage?'

At this moment, one word appeared in their minds.

Aeris!

Only Aeris had awakened both the Warrior class and the Mage class, so they immediately thought of him as Aeris.

"Does that mean our Young Palace Master is a special awakener?"

"Aeris! Our Young Palace Master is an Aeris! This is great! This is amazing!"

"Haha! With Aeris as our supreme leader, our organization will rise to the top in the future!"

"That's right. Haha."

All disciples wore happy faces.

As long as Ren didn't die young, their future was guaranteed to be bright.

After all, their supreme leader was a special awakener.

Vaelen and the elders slowly turned to Scarlett and Diana.

"Lady Scarlett, Lady Diana, is that true? Is Young Palace Master Aeris?" Even though he already knew the answer, Vaelen still threw this question at them.

"That's right," Diana replied.

"Yes. Ren is Aeris! Scarlett added.

At the moment, the first elder suddenly remembered Diana's words.

'So, this is the reason why she said the Young Palace Master has the qualifications to fight for the throne.'

His body suddenly trembled in excitement.

Even though half of the continent was already under their jurisdiction, Virelya was only a small continent.

It didn't mean much because they could only be called the top organization if they conquered the main continent.

'Our Young Palace Master is still twenty-two years old, then…'

A happy smile suddenly formed on his face.

"Lyra, let's begin the fight now," Ren uttered.

"Understood, Young Palace Master." The anger within her had completely disappeared because it was just a misunderstanding.

Then, the duo began to spar.

----

Ren, Diana, Scarlett, Lyra, Cassian, Virelya and the elders were currently in the main hall.

Like before, Ren sat in the main seat.

As for Virelya and the others, they sat on the other chairs.

"Thank you for giving them pointers, Young Palace Master," Virelya said politely.

"Don't mind it," Ren replied.

At this moment, Cassian suddenly rose to his feet and stepped forward, standing in front of Ren.

"Young Palace Master, may I make a request?" Cassian asked.

"Request? What is it?" Ren asked curiously.

"I wish to become your follower," Cassian said "Will you grant me this request?"
