North America Gunman Detective

Chapter 490: Accidental Discharge

Ruiz looked at Anthony in front of him, a young guy who seemed to be in his twenties. For someone like him to be a small supervisor at this place was quite remarkable. It's likely he either had connections or was a tough character among these people. However, his attitude was really bad, "Take a good look at who we are. I'll let you say that again."

Anthony: "FBI, so what? This is my store, I don't welcome you."

Ruiz: "Does Andrew know you talk like this?"

Anthony: "That's how I am. What are you going to do? Take me away? Take me if you have evidence, if not, get out."

Jimmy couldn't stand it any longer, unsure how Ruiz was just taking it. Without getting up, he directly kicked Anthony's shin, then grabbed his arm with his left hand and reached for his waistband with his right.

Confronting three fully armed FBI agents and still daring to come out with a gun, he really hasn't faced death before. Jimmy grabbed the gun tucked in Anthony's waistband, thumb flicked the safety, and pulled the trigger, "Bang."

Jimmy didn't pull out the gun, he fired directly from Anthony's waistband, and given the angle, the first thing hit was Anthony's butt.

"Ah," Anthony screamed after the gunshot and began to struggle, but Jimmy had already let go of his right hand, grabbed Anthony's clothes with both hands, and got up to push him down.

"Shut up." Jimmy pinned Anthony to the ground, kneeling on one knee against his back, "Oh, bad luck. Your gun misfired, look, luckily it wasn't in front, or you'd nearly become a woman."

"Don't move!" Jimmy pressed Anthony hard, and despite being shot, Anthony showed strong resistance. Jimmy leaned down on his back, whispered in his ear, "Don't move, you don't want your gun to go off again, next time it could hit somewhere else."

Jimmy turned his head toward the kitchen, clearly a scene of confusion inside after the gunshot. The three who came with Anthony from the back were obviously armed. The gunshot surprised them as they drew their guns.

As Jimmy restrained Anthony, the people inside finally made up their minds. All three of them rushed out, holding their pistols.

Jimmy swiftly drew Anthony's gun, turned and raised his hand, "Bang" "Bang" "Bang."

"Drop the gun! Drop the gun!" Jimmy was already shouting while firing, his repeated commands made the three hit clutch their shoulder wounds, and their guns fell to the ground.

Ruiz remained seated without moving, while Taylor stood up as Jimmy fired at the emerging group, drawing his gun while aiming at the kitchen. He didn't shoot as by the time he drew, Jimmy had already fired three shots wounding all three, without any waste.

"Taylor, cuff them, I have zip ties in my waistband." Jimmy held Anthony down with his left hand, knee on his back, aiming his right hand gun toward the kitchen's three. He couldn't handle them all, so he had to ask Taylor for help.

Taylor aimed his gun at the trio, bent down to grab zip ties from Jimmy's waistband, and approached. Of course, he avoided Jimmy's line of fire, while the cashier and servers crouched down with their heads covered, cleverly avoiding the path.

Taylor holstered his gun, cuffed all three men, and only then did Jimmy put Anthony's gun in front of him, "Your gun went off again, injured your three men. Who do you think it'll misfire on next?"

Jimmy took a glance next door, the few people there immediately dashed out and fled after the gunshot, preventing the worst situation. If they had charged from the door, the three FBI agents would have been in trouble.

Anthony shouted, "Fine! I'll talk!"

Jimmy reached down to pick up the gun, pulled Anthony to his feet, gesturing to face Ruiz, "Please!"

Ruiz remained incredibly calm, even now he didn't leave his chair or draw his gun, observing Jimmy and Taylor handle the situation entirely.

Ruiz: "Where are Daquan Johnson and Malik Williams?"

Anthony: "I don't know. I only know there was a shooting in a nearby community today. A cop was killed. Our men saw the direction of two people leaving; they headed towards Queens."

Ruiz stood up, "You're lying. Jimmy, get to it."

Jimmy raised his left hand to slap, but when Anthony turned his head, his right hand holding the gun thumped Anthony's stomach; Anthony was genuinely surprised, clutching his stomach and squatting down.

Ruiz: "You know them, tell me where they are."

Anthony coughed twice, Jimmy's hit made his stomach very uncomfortable, took a while to recover, "No more, I'll talk. I don't know the exact location. Brian knows them, you can find him."

Ruiz: "Where's Brian? Andrew left you two in charge here, why are you alone?"

Anthony: "He was here during the day, left after learning about the shooting."

Ruiz: "His phone number."

Anthony reached for his phone, displayed Brian's number. Ruiz and Jimmy glanced at it, noted it down, and looked at Ruiz. Ruiz nodded, and Jimmy put Anthony's gun back in his waistband.

Ruiz: "Hope you spoke truthfully, Anthony. Better attitude next time. Let's go."
