North America Gunman Detective

Chapter 747: 458 strong kill_3

Jimmy could see four people standing in front of a temporary building. He carefully observed the surroundings. There was no one at the entrance; the others were hidden around the four people.

Jimmy shouted at the entrance, "Scott, I've arrived."

The person in the middle of the four in front of the building took two steps forward into the light. It was Scott.

Scott said, "Agent Yang, I have already ceased all operations. Why are you still looking for me?"

Jimmy replied, "Scott, you wouldn't think that just stopping your operations would erase several attempts on my life. Attacking a Federation agent is a serious crime. When did you get the idea that we could reconcile?!"

Scott angrily said, "You killed my son."

Jimmy retorted, "He was in a place he shouldn't have been. That was our duty."

Scott continued to shout loudly, "Your job was to arrest, not to kill! You killed most of them; only four survived. He was a good kid, he shouldn't have died at the hands of lawless FBI agents like you."

Jimmy shot back, "That was our normal response to being shot at. If your son hadn't had a gun, he wouldn't have died. How can someone who fires at the FBI be called a good kid?"

Scott took a deep breath and calmed down a bit. "Too many people have died, I've lost my son, and you've survived two attacks I arranged. Enough! I've already stopped all actions against you. You can go back now, let's end this matter here."

Jimmy challenged, "What if I say no?"

Scott looked at Jimmy, waited a moment, then swiftly drew the pistol from his belt and fired in Jimmy's direction, shouting angrily, "Then go to hell."

Jimmy had been watching them. When Scott reached for his gun, Jimmy also rested his hand on his holster, drew his gun while diving to the side, and rolled twice to hide behind a stack of steel pipes, just avoiding Scott's line of fire. The bullets hit the ground and the materials in front of him.

The firing by Scott was a clear signal; the other men also drew their guns and aimed at Jimmy's position, firing intermittently to suppress him. The four men in front of the temporary building and others behind and beside the building who emerged from hiding after the gunfire all surrounded Jimmy's position.

Well, since these guys had drawn their guns, they could no longer be seen as merely bodyguards.

Jimmy crouched behind the materials observing the distance. The gun he got from Mo Davis in Houston was also a Glock, compatible with his own ammunition, and he was familiar with it, so Jimmy had no issue adapting. He immediately stood up and fired at Scott and the three people behind him.

They were the closest to Jimmy. He fired a few shots and immediately ducked back behind the materials to avoid bullets from others. He moved to the other side and began to take down his opponents one by one.

These men were all veterans; as they moved to surround Jimmy's position, they hid behind materials and other objects to avoid direct exposure as much as possible.

Once Jimmy fired, their attention immediately shifted to his new position. Jimmy hardly dared to expose much of his body, only stretching his arm out to fire two shots before retreating.

In that earlier exchange, not all of Scott's men were hit, only three were shot, and the wounds were not fatal like headshots; Jimmy had deliberately avoided shooting Scott.

Now firing again meant clearing the surrounding gunmen. For him, Scott was the only one of any use; the others, having fired at him, had essentially signed away their lives in this situation.

Though it was only handguns, the speed of firing created an ongoing rapid firing rate. Splinters from bullets striking the steel produced different sounds, slicing through the air and suppressing Jimmy so he couldn't even raise his head. He could only lay his pistol sideways, using Heart Eye to assist in aiming and shooting.

After putting down three people on the left, the pressure on Jimmy decreased enough that he could barely stand up.

The previous rounds had exhausted a magazine. Jimmy swapped in his spare magazine and stood up to fire at the remaining people. Although the construction site was lit, not every area was illuminated. Jimmy's current position was in one of those darker areas, but the muzzle flare revealed his position, attracting a barrage of bullets.

Jimmy dodged then rose to fire again; after two or three times, Jimmy was the only one left standing. The others had fallen, some groaning, some unable to move.

These men had taken cover behind other barriers, but couldn't withstand Jimmy being able to see their positions through Heart Eye. As soon as he saw them move, he hit them, and no one could withstand that.

To avoid being too conspicuous, Jimmy mainly aimed at their torsos, not their heads. All of them hadn't worn Bullet-Proof Vests, and although the 9mm bullets weren't very penetrating and had less kinetic energy, they still incapacitated them.

Jimmy approached the people on the ground, kicking their guns aside. One tried to reach for his gun but gave up all movement after Jimmy shot him again.

Arriving next to Scott, who was just convulsing and frothing at the mouth, it appeared one of the shots to his torso had penetrated his lung or stomach, with blood entering his trachea. Such a gunshot wound on this field meant there was no hope of survival.

Jimmy squatted down in front of Scott. "Scott, our business is over. Go in peace, I won't involve your family."

Scott's body jerked a few times, his mouth moved, but no sound came out, and he soon lay motionless.
