Chapter 366: 309 Funny Moments (These two chapters will be restructured please do not subscribe yet)_3

Daniel: "And she was wearing fur boots, she must be heading back that way."

Emilian patted Daniel on the shoulder: "Switzerland, no wonder, she's half Swiss and knows that area like the back of her hand. Once she gets on the mountain, she can ski down the other side to reach Switzerland. With so many tourists on the mountain now, no one will notice them."

Daniel: "And she arranged for a helicopter, just get there and she can quickly leave by helicopter."

Jimmy suddenly interjected: "Don't forget, she left alone earlier, and she still has so many gang members."

Emilian: "Those people aren't important, what matters now is her, Daniel, where's your map?"

Daniel took out the map from the car, and the three of them looked at the map, alright, it's in French, Jimmy couldn't understand, only Daniel and Emilian two were looking for the nearest ski resort to Switzerland.

Daniel and Emilian pointed to a place: "Tignes Ski Resort"

Jimmy, seeing their excitement in finding the location, was in no rush to have Daniel take him to find a hotel. The target was at the ski resort, and if they were lucky enough to handle the situation, it wouldn't be bad to go there for fun.

The three took a taxi directly to the Tignes Ski Resort near the France-Switzerland border. On the trip, Jimmy listened to them making phone calls to relevant personnel, all in that irritating French, without even a single word he could understand.

Upon reaching the ski resort, the three of them scanned from the car, looking for that black SUV. At this moment, Jimmy noticed something interesting; Officer Emilian couldn't distinguish left from right. Good gracious, how on earth did you become a cop, how do you even report the suspect's location and track directions?

Soon they spotted the vehicle and started chasing it through the snow. They passed many dangerous spots, even drove through a snow rally, and Daniel even surpassed a few of the competitors. This was a bit of an exaggeration, one must admit, talent truly does exist.

Watching the SUV climb to the top of the mountain, Daniel pressed a button in the taxi, and Jimmy felt the car suddenly lifted. He stuck his head out of the window to see the wheels adjusting, transforming into snow tracks mode. Today, Daniel truly opened Jimmy's eyes.

Jimmy: "Daniel, did you modify this car yourself?"

Daniel: "Of course, I handled all the modifications myself."

Once the transformation was complete, Daniel drove towards the top of the mountain, and soon they spotted a small cabin, which seemed to be their target. At that moment, Emilian received a phone call, and after he hung up, five people came out of the cabin, the woman was among them. It seemed she had managed to pick up a few accomplices on the run from the warehouse.

They also noticed Daniel's taxi, and after one of them fired a warning shot at the taxi, the five turned and started skiing down the mountain to escape.

Daniel started chasing them, and Jimmy, gauging the distance, said: "Emilian, lend me your gun."

Emilian turned in surprise and looked at Jimmy: "Why?"

Jimmy: "At this distance, I should be able to hit them."

Emilian: "Who are you? What is your profession?"

Jimmy: "Special Agent with the FBI, trust me, I'm a professional."

Emilian turned his head toward Daniel, "You know?"

Daniel, "Yeah, I knew a bit before you."

After thinking for a second, Emilian handed the Glock to Jimmy. Jimmy rolled down the window, "Daniel, get a little closer."

Daniel, "Understood." He sped up to catch up. Driving in the snow was really tough. He finally got a bit closer, coming within Jimmy's shooting range. Jimmy stuck his head and arm out the window, carefully aimed, and predicted the last person's movement before firing.

The gun wasn't his own, and whether the sights were properly adjusted was a question, so he fired a test shot to see the trajectory. Luckily, although Emilian was quite unreliable, his gun was still very good. Jimmy's first bullet precisely hit the last person, although it was somewhat of a fluke.

After confirming this, Jimmy didn't hold back anymore. The Glock had plenty of bullets, and Jimmy wasn't too concerned about conserving them. He fired continuously at the people ahead, and although the moving car caused him to miss a few shots, he still managed to take down three of them.

However, their target, the woman, was at the front and kept moving side to side. Jimmy couldn't get a clear shot, and the distance was also an issue. If they were closer, Jimmy's skill could have been maximized, rather than just relying on his marksmanship.

The people Jimmy hit didn't need to be considered anymore; they were either shot or during high-speed skiing, now they'd be rolling uncontrollably on the ground, their bodies twisted in unnatural ways.

They were as good as dead, either from the gunshot or from crashing into rocks or trees. Even if they were lucky, the chances were they couldn't move anymore. Once the arrest was over, they'd arrange for someone to come back and collect the bodies, or if they were still alive, let them freeze a bit longer.

After emptying one magazine, only the woman was left in front. Jimmy moved back into the car and handed the handgun back to Emilian. He smiled at Emilian and said, "Here's your gun back. Oh, by the way, those guys were taken down by you."

Emilian was actually a bit stunned. He knew his own shooting skills. Shooting from a moving car at people who were unpredictably moving on skis, hitting four people with a dozen bullets—no one in their police department could match that.

Emilian put the gun back in its holster and said, "Thank you." Then he fell silent.

Up ahead, there was a helicopter on the ground. The woman quickly walked over to it. Just as she stopped, about a dozen people wearing snow camouflage and armed with guns emerged from around the helicopter and took control of her.

When Daniel's car reached the helicopter, Emilian immediately got out and ran over, retrieving his phone from the woman.

"Thank God. Where's Gilbert?"

Just then, a voice came from the sky. Jimmy also looked up. Police Chief Gilbert was parachuting down towards them, shouting in English, "I'm here!" and then he landed directly in the nearby water.

Emilian rushed over, while Jimmy and Daniel just stood there, laughing.

After the capture was successfully completed, Jimmy discussed with Daniel. Daniel's team would take Jimmy to a ski resort on the mountain before leaving. Jimmy planned to enjoy some skiing there.

He had left Paris in the morning, reached Marseille by noon, and then it was a long chase for most of the day. Although Jimmy had been sitting in the car for most of the journey, he was still a bit tired. By the time Daniel took Jimmy to the ski resort's lodge, it was already dark. Jimmy ate dinner at the lodge, rested for the night, and started his first-ever skiing experience the following day.
