We spent a little more time with Izanami, since I did not want to be rude, then we left towards Chione's home. It was near the frozen plains where we had defeated Beira, however her territory was not as desolate. It felt like we simply changed seasons.

The green forest turned white as it was covered in snow. It looked pretty and would make for a great Christmas destination. Not that this world had Christmas, maybe I should introduce it… Well, the markets at least. I would enjoy a nice winter market.

"What food are you thinking about?" Lucy asked.

"What?" I replied.

"I know that face and you are drooling." Lucy teased.

"Oh. Um, I was just thinking about a winter market. Stands with nice hot food, mulled wine,..."

"That is a nice idea. We could have something like that in our town." Lucy suggested.

"It might also be a lovely attraction for demons." Lily added.

"Why?" I wondered.

"Lilith's domain does not have snow and not every succubus has been summoned to the mortal realm. Winter will be a major draw." Lily explained.

"Oh, and we should do hot springs! Like the one Lilith had summoned. Maybe we can build one outdoors with natural stone. The naiads could help with the water." Lucy suggested.

"That is a great idea!" I agreed. "I am sure we can get some succubi to help with the water. Actually, could we import the water from hell? They have pretty great hot springs." I mused.

"You want to use your portal to hell for a water pipe?" Kira asked, sounding sceptical.

"Sure, why not? We got a grove with roots going through it. Maybe they can help with some water. Or maybe with the minerals. I guess water is water, we just need the additional things in it." Actually, just transporting the minerals in the water might be easier.

"We could add a blood pool! Or several, with different monster blood." Shani suggested.

"I think only vampires would be into that…" I replied.

Shani wrinkled her nose. "I dislike undead. You remember that rude death elemental? Nah. We need cute blood elementals!"

"Not in my hot spring." I replied and Shani pouted.

"What you could offer is larger pools. Some dragons like to soak in their natural form." Kira said.

"Are you one of those dragons?" I asked.

"It would be nice…" Kira replied.

"Sure. We just have to find a good location for it. It would need to be out of town." I said.

"We could build a second walled area. While our patrols are good we can't risk monsters going for our customers." Lily suggested.

"Hm. We could build a resort, right next to the town. With hotels, restaurants, a hot spring,... It would also be next to the train station. I think I like the idea." I replied.

"Have you considered expanding the train network to hell?" Lily asked.

"Hell? I have not thought about it. Just connecting the cities within the Dominion will take quite a bit of time." I replied.

"Lilith's people could build it, if you shared your designs. I am sure connecting Melusa and Lilith's territories would be beneficial. We just need to think more about the defenses. Hell is slightly more dangerous. But it would be doable." Lily said.

I shrugged. "Sure, if Lilith wants to."

"Hey, I see something!" Shani shouted suddenly, while a scythe formed in her hands.

"We are here to talk, not just to kill everything." I warned her, while looking at the creature she had spotted.

"Is that a frost sprite?" Lucy asked.

The creature looked like a tiny elf with wings. He had white hair and rather pale skin. A soft blue glow surrounded him as he hovered above a snow covered bush. We all looked at him and he fled.

"He could be lookout, shall I catch him?" Lily asked.

"No. I doubt that Chione will flee just because we are approaching. She had plenty of time to go into hiding since we have dealt with Beira. If she does, we will just have to confiscate her belongings and question the people left behind. Ultimately I am mostly looking for information." I replied.

"Ohhh, I volunteer to help question her!" Shani offered.

"We will see. I don't think she was that involved in the whole plot. But I do think she can point us to a location where we can find out more. I have a feeling she did hang out with Beira. Also, if we are really lucky she has already looted Beira's stuff and spared us the trouble." I added with a grin.

"You think she will try to continue the work?" Lily wondered.

"Not necessarily. Not with how it ended for Beira. But she might try to find any artifacts that were left behind, or recruit some of Beira's former minions. I think Chione is a lot more stable but she also wants more power." I replied.

"She wants to claim the mantle of the Lady of Winter. I wonder what happened to the former one?" Kira asked.

"I have heard that she is slumbering, so she still exists. I have no idea if two can hold the title at once. Actually, I don't even know what the title means. Is it just about reaching the third aura stage?" I wondered.

"You are the Lady of Storms, yet you do not know what that means?" Kira asked.

"Yes." I confirmed.

"Is she joking?" Kira asked Lucy.

"No. That is just an Amaya thing." Lucy replied.
