EPISODE 205: CLANG! 3
— GREAT EDRYAN, YEAR: 7292. SEASON: NEW BEGINNING.
Titiana Koltius Verlio Edryani calmly rose into the air. The sun shined above, and after a night of marching, her army finally arrived at the outskirts of the inner region of Wyvern's Roost. She took in a long, deep breath of the springtime air. She wore a new set of armor, one built to expand and cover her body with semi-divine materials—a gift from the Goddess to her. They were close to the establishment of the Pantheon and the right to be worshipped by all magi and more . Although her child was Her messenger and representative in the Mortal Realm, Titiana's bond with the Goddess remained close. She was even assured a sizable Divine Kingdom would be carved next to the Goddess's very own territory in the Astral Above.
Like her son, her armor was matte black. Its inspiration came from the Dark Prince Set. Her armor happened to be called the Dark Love Set. The armor was sharp, spiky, and stood out. The only hint of color was the pink gems on her helmet. This was only its first form; its others would be revealed only after her body changed.
Next to her was Margret Musa and Liana Drumian, both ladies were equipped and ready for the battle to come. Fighting Calamity Zephyron had given them a taste of what it was like to fight something at the level of a demigod. The fight against Calamity Frigid Lady was expected to be no different. Only this time, things would be far more dangerous, with the group only sporting three of them. A small sense of worry radiated from the Queen. They would be battling Frigid Lady at the same time as the others would face their respective Calamities. She remained worried for Camilla and Vivian overall—knowing both held the lowest defenses of their group.
"Let's finish this quickly and reinforce the others," Titiana stated, her eyes already drawn to the approaching mass of wyverns.
That was their initial plan, curated before they even stepped foot into Wyvern's Roost. But, if there was something Titiana was certain of all her life… then it was no plan survived execution.
"(Examine)," Margret activated, her eyes locked on the large Calamity at the center of the incoming beast horde. She placed a finger on her chin, sharing the relative information with her party members.
"Seventeen thousand Health Points," Liana whistled, eyes slightly widening at the number.
"Twenty-one thousand Attribute Points—this is a fully evolved… fully grown Calamity," Margret chuckled. Her grip on her black and white wand tightened, and her throat bobbed up and down as she swallowed. "High defense, adequate attack."
Ganging up on a single, young Calamity was one thing. Queen Titiana, Margret, Liana, and the rest of them were able to coordinate with each other and truly watch each other's back. Zephyron was young, the youngest Calamity in Edryan, and was unused to fighting beings at his level of power. He was still at the level of a newly born Calamity, and the trio understood the reason after Lithonia appeared. Zephyron must have been assisting his mate in achieving a superior form. Unfortunately, that caused the death of both.
"Frigid Lady will not be like Zephyron," Titiana warned, finally ordaining to glance at the notification Margret shared.

(World Bound) [+], (Frozen World), (Absolute) [+], (Crystal Palace) [+], (Winter Realm) [+], (Frigid Chaos)…
Theorize Weakness:
Only the fiercest flames can hope to melt the Frigid Lady's crystalline form. She stands as an unyielding bulwark, her defenses near impenetrable, while her own attacks are few. But it's the chilling array of curses and blights she commands that truly makes her a force to be reckoned with.
Her red-gold eyes quickly scanned over the relevant information—taking it all within a second. The hint of worry disappeared and a confident, arrogant , look entered her eyes. "Krystyna is ancient," Titiana continued, "…older than me, my father, and his. Although she hasn't fought magi-demigods before, it's recorded she used to venture beyond the magi lands and has conflicted with several Prestige and Demigod [Adventurers]."
She clutched [Heavenspear]; the weapon achieved a new form after being fed divine materials. Much like her family's hair, the spear was ebony-gradient, with most of its shaft appearing black before the black whiten. White rhombuses were spread intermittently throughout the shaft—each softly shone with a pink light.
"Do you think we can kill it quickly," Liana questioned. Like the Queen, what she wore was new. Its style was a match for Titiana's, but streaks of icy green that were reminiscent of Liana's eyes, erupted through the armor as lightning patterns. Her weapon remained the giant sword-shield that did the job of two.
Margret's magenta eyes glanced at Liana as she answered. "We have to. We have to be the first and leave to help the others. I'm worried for Vivian and Camilla. They don't have someone big and meaty to protect them."
Liana laughed, and Titiana smiled. The flap of wyvern wings grew with every passing moment. Tens of thousands of wyverns, a majority at the four-star level judging from the general power the trio detected, flew toward them. If the trio weren't invaders, they may have thought a great migration was taking place. Wyverns did live in other places on the Elrunian Continent but remained concentrated in Edryan, home of the [Final Dragon].
Behind them, the Central Gate Army hovered with their draconian-based steeds. Ten thousand high-levelers was a peak force on Elrunian. Unless met with another force of similar strength or significantly outnumbered by those weaker but still able to damage them, then Queen Titiana's army was nigh invincible. This was one of the armies she retook her country with. This was one of the armies she sieged Edrya with when she slayed her eldest brother.
" Kill ," she softly whispered—barely at the level of a decibel.
" KILL ," the Central Gate Army responded—their voices shook the air.
"Kill," she said once more—this time stronger, the blood in her body flowed faster.
" KILL ," the Central Gate Army shouted—louder as if the first wasn't enough to receive their Queen's acknowledgment.
Unauthorized duplication: this tale has been taken without consent. Report sightings.
" Kill ," Titiana said one final time, [Heavenspear] pointed in the direction of the enemy—[Heavenspear] pointed in the direction of the Mountain of Final Hope. The spear would cut a path for her son's dreams while she remained present to do so. No matter what he asked of her, she would accomplish it.
That's what it meant to have [ A Mother's Love ].
" KILL ," the Central Gate Army surged forth, smoke erupted from their steed's nostrils and flames from their mouths—blades were drawn, banners raised, and the word of their Queen at the forefront of their thoughts. Their bodies weren't theirs—they did not belong to themselves. They belonged to Her ! And Titiana used them how she saw fit.
Titiana's gentle gaze landed on Margret at her left; their eyes met, no exchange of words necessary. The woman smiled, a response that brought warmth to the Queen's cool heart. It wasn't cold; it could never again be once she understood A Mother's Love.
Then, that same gaze looked to Liana. She'd been irritated with her, but the woman strove hard to right wrongs. And, the word of her son would always dispel any negative emotions plaguing the mother. Their gazes remained on one another slightly longer than Titiana's with Margret. Then, they simply broke away—all thoughts on one thing: Kill .
Titiana stepped, no skill activation, no mana fluctuations— nothing —nothing but a single step for her to appear in the midst of the wyvern beast horde—a bloody trail behind her, just a hundred or so meters away from Frigid Lady. Liana was next to her, and unbeknownst to the horde, a figure appeared high in the sky above. There was no need to discuss their plan or even begin a mental link to exchange words. Titiana trusted these women with her son's life. She long ago trusted them with hers.
Titiana simply moved, her physical prowess, speed, and Power were something that a four-star creature was merely unable to defend against.
…
…
…
She Is A Demigoddess.

…
…
The reaction of Frigid Lady was immediate—the wyvern was large, surprisingly smaller than Zephyron, but still made both Titiana and Liana appear like babies next to it. A large, winter blue eye locked onto Titiana and Liana beside her. And, in the next moment, the world, once bright and sunny, changed . The appearance of spring weather was still present, but the warm temperature of New Beginning was replaced as the chill of Final Ending reappeared.
Titiana's eyes narrowed. "(Winter Realm)," she muttered, prepared to counterattack. Her gaze studied the fellow Queen before her.
If any single word could be used to describe Frigid Lady, then it was sharp . The Wyvern was a mass of winter blue crystalline scales. She had pointed, sharp eyes similar to an ellipse with golden-black vertical pupils. A terrifying chill surrounded her body, which prevented anything from approaching within a hundred meters of the wyvern. It was this skill (Absolute) that halted Titiana's initial advance from striking a critical blow.
The air was cold, and snowflakes fell, slowly at first but increasing in grade with every second. If it began as a simple flake falling like the first true sign of winter, it immediately involved a flurry before a storm arose. It remained concentrated around Frigid Lady, but every few seconds, it would increase by a dozen or so meters.
Titiana shot a nearly imperceptible glance at her partner, an unspoken message sent.
Clear the way!
Liana moved forward, sharp wind surrounding her to protect the Queen and fight against the approaching blizzard. Her sword-shield was raised, ready to block any errant strikes that the Calamity struck out. Frigid Lady was far different than the Thunderwing Lord. Whereas Zephyron was impulsive, immediately lashing out against the invaders. Frigid Lady remained calm, Titiana saw the Calamity analyzing her before the storm covered their vision.
They shot forward, into the zone controlled by Krystyna. A wind barrier around a dozen meters in circumference kept the biting wind and snow at bay.
Titiana's spear shot forward, flames covered her weapon as it struck out against the attack. Krystyna's attack was instant, with no prior warning from the mana or world around her. It was as if an errant snowflake landed on the tip of her nose at the first sign of winter—completely unexpected, but pleasantly surprised.
Titiana didn't even look back, her spear thrust upward and slightly behind her, a clang of metal on metal sounded as the sharp, scimitar tale blade of Krystyna's clashed against hers. Both fighters exchanged minimal damage—in part because their colliding attacks negated a portion of the damage and in part from their deflection.
Liana moved, her foot jumping in an explosive burst. She treated the air like it was only an extension of the earth and walked on it the same as she would walk on the ground. Each step would result in a small burst of air exploding from her feet.
She was next to Krystyna immediately, sword-shield swung in an overhead chop to decapitate the wyvern. Wind circled her blade, extending its edge by meters. Krystyna's eyes held a hint of… disdain , she extended her wing, its edge sharp like a blade.
An attack for an attack. The Calamity simply met Liana's blade with her own, her skin darkening as a defensive-based skill activated. Once again, the weapons clashed together, releasing sparks that were quickly extinguished by the snow. The three moved within milliseconds, their attacks faster than the average mortal could comprehend. Titiana hadn't even withdrawn her spear before Liana and Krystyna's weapons clashed.
Her red-gold eyes brightened, and the wyvern withdrew back into the snowstorm. The moment their weapons disengaged the wyvern seemed to disappear.
"This snow is attempting to slow our movement," Titiana called out. It was their first verbal communication and it held double meanings.
"More than that, I suspect it's the prelude to-," Liana's words cut off as she moved. Titiana followed close behind.
Flames surged on her spear, ready to burn the calamity with increased damage. Both parties tested the waters, doing their best to gain an understanding of one another before finding a solution to kill.
Liana dashed forward, sword-shield extended before her as she smashed into the wyvern. For the first time, the Frigid Lady let out a sound—a grunt of surprise entered Titiana's ears as she thrust forth with her blade.
[Heavenspear] doubled her Based Attack of 1,250 and True Fire added an additional 120% damage to any attack struck. Without skills and any other abilities, Titiana could deal 5,500 damage in a single blow.
CLANG!
Krystyna's crystal skin simply shrugged off Titiana's attack; the wyvern's skin took on a deep blue hue as it countered the blow before it struck. And, with a single step back, she disappeared into the storm.
Unfortunately for her… it was three against one—not two.
"(Divine Skill: Rune Creation — Illuminating Mark)," Margret softly whispered. A whisper that spread over the nearby battlefield. Black and white light erupted from her wand, accelerating to light speed as it marked Krystyna. The Demigoddess of Spell-Crafting barely finished her words before the effect was already present. The moment it landed, Margret moved, completely disappearing from her previous position like an illusion.
Titiana's face took on a vicious expression as she activated her first divine skill.
