Infinite wealth In A New World

Chapter 261: The Unraveling Of The Stone Family

"My Prince, God Wolf; please help us set things right." Evelyn pleaded, her voice a practiced melody of desperation and self-pity. She looked utterly pleased with her performance, oblivious to the monstrous presence she addressed.

'Is this girl truly this stupid? Even in the presence of a God Rank warrior?' Lewis thought, his own fear escalating. His attempts to salvage the situation with flattery felt pathetic.

Sunny gave a minimal nod, his expression unreadable, and took the card back. "It seems there is no need for this."

"God... God Wolf? Why? Why are you doing this?" Ethan stammered, the realization of Sunny's true powers paralyzing him. The loss of the half-trillion deal was a distant tremor compared to the seismic shift in the room.

"I planned to employ your family, because I thought you all were good-hearted—a necessary quality for the type of trust I demand. But I was wrong," Sunny stated, his gaze a cold weight on Ethan.

"What? No. We are good-hearted! We are charitable!" Molana shrieked, her focus still desperately clinging to the lost money.

"Quiet!!" Sunny snapped. The word wasn't loud, but it was dense—a physical pressure that made the very air crackle. The lavish house trembled, the structural integrity briefly questioned by the power.

"You think I don't know everything?!" he asked, his voice low and dangerous.

"You not only conspired with your daughter here, and tortured Eve—you committed a Rank-A crime in this sector: you removed her Dragon Core and surgically implanted it into your youngest daughter! Not only that, you fraudulently granted her the rights of the eldest heir, violating several local customs and galactic trading codes," he laid out the charges, his eyes burning with controlled fury.

"And..." His tone plunged into a chilling darkness. "You disowned her. Stripped her of her name and existence. Do you still refer to yourselves as kindhearted?"

".....?!!!"

Ethan and Molana exchanged one look—a flicker of shared guilt instantly replaced by self-pity. They were utterly speechless.

"So, I ask one last time: Do you deserve to work for me?"

"I... I... I..." Ethan couldn't articulate the lie, the fear too great to let the words form.

Sunny waited a few seconds, then gave a focused, silent command through his cosmic brain.

DING!

A message flared on Ethan's cosmic brain. The text was instantly devastating. Ethan shot up, knocking over the designer couch.

"What?! What did you do?!" he demanded, his horror eclipsing his deference.

"The Stone family has dominated the decoration company for a long time. It's time to step down, don't you think?" Sunny replied with a predatory smirk.

"What is happening, dear?" Molana asked, her mild confusion rapidly curdling into terror.

"We... All our assets have been seized! Not only that, we are getting logged off in all business systems! We are being declared bankrupt!" Ethan screamed at his wife, the political and financial empire vanishing in an instant.

"Bankruptcy?? No!! Impossible, why are we getting bankrupt!?!" Evelyn shrieked, her panic immediately targeting her habitual scapegoat. She turned on Eve.

"It's all your fault, Bitch—"

SLAP!!!

A sound like a gunshot echoed in the room. A powerful, clinical slap struck Evelyn, throwing her across the rug. She coughed up blood and several teeth.

"...?!"

They all spun to stare at Jinx. She crouched casually by Evelyn, her gaze entirely flat, a terrifying absence of emotion.

"Didn't you hear the Queen? Language," she said coldly, then turned to look at Ellen, a subtle protective gesture. "My little sister doesn't like that word."

"Honey!!" Molana rushed to her daughter, then glared at Jinx. "She didn't say anything wrong! Why did you hit her?! That Eve was evil from the very start, she deserved what happened to her!"

"Should I slap her too?" Jinx asked, tilting her head to Sunny and Josephine, seeking a logistical decision, not permission.

"No, Jinx." Sunny slowly rose, towering over the spectacle of ruin.

"All their assets have been sealed off, purchased by me. In a day, the loan sharks will be here to... deal with them." He then slowly extended the shimmering black card to Eve.

"This belongs to you."

"Me?" Eve was stunned. Five hundred billion—a sum that meant power, freedom, and an absolute break from her past.

"Yes. Don't look so shocked. Compared to what my commanders are receiving, this is little," Sunny said, his small smile genuine.

"Oh... Thank you." Eve slowly, carefully took the card. Her mind struggled to process the casual nature of the gift versus the vastness of the wealth. She was five hundred billion richer, yet her greatest gain was the final, devastating confirmation of their moral bankruptcy.

"Okay, you all. We will get going." Sunny announced.

"Yes!!! King God Wolf is right! But leaving this bitc... I mean this girl behind, will be bad! She will be arrested!" Lewis, in his final, desperate move, tried to paint Evelyn as a continued threat.

Sunny stared at him, then nodded slowly. "A good idea. Make sure she suffers."

He confirmed Evelyn's fate with a single, harsh decree, and walked towards the door, Ellen, Josephine, and Jinx following behind.

Eve finally looked at the people who had been her tormentors. Ethan, Molana, and Evelyn—ruined, sobbing, and utterly powerless. She felt nothing. The silence in her heart was not apathy, but peace. Without a word, she turned her back on them for the last and final time and walked out. Her emancipation was complete.

"We... We are ruined," Molana muttered, sinking to the ground, her face completely pale.

___

Sunny walked outside the gate, the air outside cool and clean, and turned to Jinx.

"Make sure the family never rise again."

Jinx, ever direct, pulled her dagger and twirled it. "You mean I should kill them right now? It's cleaner."

"What?! No! I mean make sure they remain poor forever. Their poverty and shame are their sentence. Why do you always think about killing?" Sunny asked, a slight impatience coloring his tone.

"Maybe I missed killing. I kind of miss the wendigos," she replied, a genuine complaint from a mind designed for combat.

"You can hunt Beast-grade threats on your own time," Sunny sighed, running a hand through his hair.

DING!

Jinx switched on her cosmic brain, and her eyes lit up as she scanned the new massage notification. A sharp, focused smirk replaced her boredom.

"No need. I got something to do. Much better than paperwork. Come on, let's head back."

The matter of the Stone family was officially closed, leaving nothing but dust and debt behind.
