"These are your titles?" I muttered, my eyes following the information displayed in a holographic manner by Mika.

Mika's smile was radiant, no, it was devotion.

"These are not just titles, my Lucky Prince Charm," she said softly, every word dripping with affection that made me shift uneasily.

"These are your echoes, the reflection of everything you've done."

"My… echoes?" I repeated, not quite believing what I was hearing.

She stepped closer, her emerald eyes gleaming with a mix of reverence and obsession.

"Yes. Every battle you fought, every being you slew, every defiance you made against fate itself, it all resonated to me, and I'm bound to that…" she placed a hand on her chest,

"I could evovle and you've changed me."

Her words sent a faint chill down my spine. I couldn't tell if I should be proud or disturbed.

"I didn't do anything for you," I said.

"I just—"

"—fought because it was right?" she finished for me, smiling knowingly.

"Oh, Daniel… you say that, but your soul burns brighter than any star"

"Even now, I can feel its warmth through every ley line of this world."

I sighed, rubbing the back of my neck.

"You have a strange way of expressing gratitude."

"Do I?" Mika's eyes narrowed playfully as she took another step forward.

"Then maybe I should express it differently?"

Before I could react, her finger lifted my chin, tilting my head upward to meet her gaze.

She was taller than me and her shadow fell over me like a canopy of living emerald flame.

Her eyes glimmered with something deeper than admiration, and it was obsession.

But her actions right now we're seductive.

The way she carries herself and her body were all mature, and to say that I'm not attracted to that it's a lie.

No man would ever deny it.

But because of how disturbing Mika is, I didn't dare to have feelings towards her.

"Mika…" I warned cautiously.

She giggled softly, her voice echoing like wind over crystal.

"You have no idea how many eons I've waited to feel this way, to see someone like you, my Lucky Prince Charm."

"...You're starting to sound like a stalker planet," I muttered under my breath.

She gasped dramatically, clutching her chest.

"A stalker planet? How cruel! I prefer the term devoted cosmic admirer"

Despite myself, I couldn't hold back a short laugh.

"You're unbelievable."

"Perhaps," she hummed, circling me with the slow grace of a cat.

"But so are you. You've reshaped my very essence, Daniel Valenhardt. You made this world stronger. You gave me reason to awaken again."

Her tone changed then, the playful lilt fading into something quieter, gentler.

When I met her gaze again, it wasn't obsession that looked back.

It was… gratitude, real, aching gratitude.

"You didn't just help me," she whispered.

"You gave me purpose again."

For a moment, I didn't know what to say.

Maybe because I saw a reflection of myself in her, something once broken that found meaning through someone else.

I exhaled softly.

"Then… I'm glad. If I helped, even a little, that's enough."

Her lips curved into that familiar, teasing smile.

"You helped more than a little, my Lucky Prince Charm. You've branded my heart."

I groaned, shaking my head.

"You're not going to stop calling me that, are you?"

"Never," she said proudly.

"You've earned it."

"First day at the Academy," I muttered, trying not to smile. "And I've already been adopted by the planet itself."

Mika laughed, a soft, melodic sound that made the air shimmer.

"Oh, you have no idea what awaits you, Daniel. But one thing is certain…"

She leaned closer, her voice dropping to a whisper.

"You're my world" She declared.

She chuckled and all of a sudden, her alluring smile was gone and it was replaced by a solemn look.

Her laughter faded like a fading bell, the shimmer in her emerald eyes dimming into a grave, unsettling calm.

I noticed it instantly, that change in tone, that faint trembling in the air.

The once-vibrant glow surrounding her form now pulsed erratically, as though the world itself had begun to strain under invisible pressure.

"Mika?" I asked cautiously as her smile disappeared completely.

Her gaze flickered.

There was a tremor in her presence, something that wasn't born from emotion but from cosmic fear.

She whispered, almost to herself, "We don't have time, Daniel."

My brows furrowed. "What do you mean?"

Her focus snapped back to me, and when she spoke, her tone was sharp, deliberate, like a mother warning her child of a storm that had already begun.

"Because of what recently," she said, her voice echoing faintly through the mana currents, "because my connection has been reestablished*, this world… has been exposed."

"The moment my link to the cosmic web was restored, the veil that hid this world from the outer realms was lifted and I can feel it"

The air around us rippled faintly as if reacting to her words.

She turned away, her translucent form pacing slowly in front of me.

"You've awakened something ancient in me, Daniel, and through me, the world is once again recognized by the Universe's core registry"

"Its existence has been broadcast."

I stayed silent for a long moment.

"How bad are we talking?" I finally asked though I was aware of what could happen.

Her expression darkened.

"Bad enough that other worlds, the sovereigns or even entities had noticed"

I crossed my arms, frowning. "Meaning this place has just been marked on every cosmic radar there is."

"Exactly." She gave a small, humorless nod.

"You understand quickly, my Lucky Prince Charm."

I ignored the nickname this time.

"So… who or what could come here?"

"That's the worst part," she said quietly.

"There's no telling."

She turned her gaze skyward again.

Her voice lowered, filled with a trembling undercurrent that even she couldn't mask.

"Only planets of equal tier could normally interact with those with similar ranking.

"But, Daniel…" She paused, as if choosing her next words carefully.

"Some factions and some planets…possess forbidden relics"

"Treasures forged before the first stars burned. Artefacts capable of transcending tiers, breaking barriers, even nullifying the differences between worlds."

I exhaled slowly.

"So, they could still… invade?"

She nodded.

"If they possess such items, yes. Theoretically, a planetary civilization several levels below ours could still force entry, if they sacrificed enough or used a divine artefact designed to bypass cosmic hierarchy."

Her words sent a dull ache through my chest. It wasn't fear, it was the weight of responsibility settling on me again.

"How much time do we have?" I asked.

She hesitated, and that alone made me uneasy.

"I don't know." She finally whispered.

"Days. Weeks. Maybe months. But not years"

"The signal has already been sent"

"Some will come to observe… others will come to conquer. The curious ones will watch, the greedy ones will test, and the desperate will attack."

The thought of it, worlds colliding, beings beyond comprehension descending upon a planet barely aware of its cosmic position — made the silence between us feel heavier than gravity itself.

"…So this is what it means to be part of the universe again," I muttered.

She turned back to me, eyes soft but weary.

"You've brought light back to a forgotten star, Daniel. The world was reborn because of you, but rebirth always comes with consequence."

I clenched my fists. "Then I'll deal with it."

Mika looked startled as she said, "If it were to be anybody else, it would be hard to believe, but for you my lucky Prince Charm who have slayed apostles and even manage to kill an Avatar of a Sovereign, it wouldn't be impossible" She complimented.

The word hung between us.

I didn't reply. Instead, I gazed upward, or rather, beyond upward.

Beyond the atmosphere, beyond the moon, beyond the void that now stirred like a living thing.

"So," I said finally, "what can we do to prepare?"

She stared at me for a long moment — and then, unexpectedly, she smiled again, though faintly.

"You make it sound easy."

"It's not," I said. "But it's necessary."

Her aura flickered again, this time stabilizing as if my resolve grounded her presence. "Then we'll start soon," she said softly.

"Though, this is the first time we met, I'll promise that I won't let this world fall," I said firmly, my voice low but unwavering.

"Not while I'm still breathing. Not while you're still alive."

Mika's expression softened, and for the first time since the conversation began, she looked almost human, vulnerable, relieved, and proud all at once.

"…You really are a fool," she whispered.

"Maybe," I said, looking into her glowing eyes. "But I'm *your* fool."

Her laugh was quiet, fragile — like crystal rain.

And as she smiled again, I could feel the faint tremor in the air as though Mika's body, the world was stirring in excitement.

The countdown had already begun.
