Unrivaled in another world

Chapter 155: Mika's Reveal

[: 3rd POV :]

"You keep saying 'My Lucky Prince Charm' but what the hell do you mean by that!?"

Daniel demanded, his tone cautious but not aggressive.

The air in the atmosphere had turned heavy, charged with a strange demeanor he couldn't identify.

Mika's demeanor was odd, alluring, obsessed, and unsettling all at once.

Her emerald eyes gleamed like enchanted gemstones, her lips curved into a faint smile that sent a chill crawling up his spine.

"Fufu~ My Lucky Prince Charm"

She purred softly, her voice like honey laced with madness.

"You have no idea what you've done for me."

Daniel became cautious.

Her every step toward him made the floor's mana tremble faintly.

Though she bore no killing intent, her presence was suffocating in another way, like a magnet of divine fixation pulling him in.

"What I've done…?" He repeated warily.

"You're acting as if I owe you something or worse, as if you owe me something."

"Oh, I owe you far more than you could possibly imagine."

Mika's lips curved upward.

"What you have done… no being, not even the first ancestors, could ever achieve."

Her tone lowered, dripping with reverence.

"And yet you… my Lucky Prince Charm… you changed everything."

Daniel stiffened as Mika reached out, her slender finger brushing under his chin.

She tilted his head upward, forcing him to meet her gaze.

Her touch was warm, almost too warm — and her eyes were burning with an obsession that was both affectionate and frightening.

"Mika…" Daniel muttered, his brow furrowing.

"Isn't this the first time we've met? How could I have done anything for you when I don't even know who you are?"

Her lips curved into a knowing smirk.

"You're right. This is the first time we've met face to face. But I've known of you for a long… long time."

"What do you mean by that?"

She leaned closer, her breath brushing against his cheek.

"Let me refresh your memory, my Lucky Prince Charm."

Daniel's pupils contracted as Mika began listing his feats, one by one.

"How about that moment during your awakening, when Caelira's face was burned by Revan, and you tore apart space itself to save her?"

Daniel froze.

"Or the Seven Overlords?"

Mika continued, her voice deepening.

"The battle where the skies fell, and the seas screamed your name?"

He stayed silent, eyes narrowing.

"Or perhaps…" Her grin widened, her tone reverberating with an eerie sweetness.

"Your title, 'Slayer of the Chosen', after you killed the Seven Apostles of the Sovereign Apocalypse."

Mika's gaze shimmered with excitement.

"Or best of all, my dear, the moment the Will of the Universe rewarded you after you slew the Avatar of that wretched Sovereign itself."

The world seemed to still for a heartbeat.

Daniel's hands curled into fists.

His instincts screamed vigilance.

None of that information should have been known to anyone.

'She shouldn't know this,' Daniel thought grimly.

Yet, despite her obsession, despite the unnatural gleam in her eyes, there was no hostility.

There was only… fixation.

'Who exactly is she' Daniel frowned.

She smiled knowingly, her head tilting slightly.

"I can already tell what you're thinking. That little frown of yours gives it away. Adorable."

Daniel took a wary step back.

"How do you know all this?"

"Well, it's quite simple actually." Mika's grin widened as she spread her arms slightly, her mana flaring like a blooming aurora.

"Because I am the manifestation, the consciousness, or, if you prefer a more poetic term…"

Daniel's eyes narrowed. "You're the Will of the World."

The air trembled.

Daniel used status view on her.

[: Mika Celestia :]

- Age: Unknown

- Rank: Low Tier Planet (Evolution Available)

- Population: 1,888,927,882,888,872,091

[: Basic Information :]

- Mika Celestia, a planet that has been born with a Nexus Heart through sheer coincidence. Once, it had been sealed to protect itself and her children from the invasions from other planets and factions, and now, she has been finally been unsealed -

Mika's expression softened into something almost divine.

"Oh? So you do know me."

A faint chuckle escaped her. "I shouldn't be surprised. From a being like you… I wouldn't expect anything less."

Daniel exhaled quietly.

"I never imagined the Dean of the Apex Academy would turn out to be the world's will itself."

Mika giggled behind her hand, the sound echoing musically.

"Well, even a planet needs a hobby, doesn't it?"

Daniel blinked. "…You became the Dean of an academy as a hobby?"

Mika winked playfully. "Oh, don't say it like that. I enjoy nurturing the young ones, but it's not really because of a hobby"

Daniel sighed.

"And does anyone else know about this?"

"Hmm~. There are who knows but most of them are dead"

"But for now, you're the only one, my precious Lucky Prince Charm."

Daniel's eyebrow twitched.

"Are you going to keep calling me that?"

"Of course," Mika said without hesitation. "Because that's what you are."

Before Daniel could retort, she turned gracefully toward the exit, her green hair swaying like waves of mana light.

"Come. It's a long story. And if I'm going to explain it, I insist we do it over tea. You'll love it. I only brew this tea for those I deem… worthy."

Daniel muttered under his breath, "That sounds like a trap."

"I heard that," Mika teased, glancing back with a mischievous smile.

Moments later, they entered Mika's private office, a serene, nature-infused chamber that seemed alive.

The walls pulsed faintly with mana, the air filled with the scent of blooming spirit flowers.

Mika gestured to a seat and gracefully brewed a pot of shimmering golden tea.

"This," she said, pouring him a cup, "is made from leaves nurtured by mana for thousands of years. I don't serve it to just anyone."

Daniel took the cup reluctantly.

"Do I even have a choice?"

She leaned closer, smirking.

"Not really."

He sighed and took a cautious sip.

Instantly, warmth spread through his chest, calm and vibrant, like the essence of life itself.

"Not bad," Daniel admitted.

"Of course not. I made it," Mika said proudly.

Daniel rolled his eyes, trying to steer the conversation back.

"So, you said you'd explain how the Will of the World became the Dean of an academy?"

Mika smiled, resting her chin on her hand.

"Impatient already? Fine. But before that…"

Her expression softened, eyes twinkling with an unsettling affection.

"My dear Lucky Prince Charm, how much do you know about this world, and the Sovereigns who dwell beyond?"

Daniel fell silent.

He wasn't sure how much to reveal.

Seeing his hesitation, Mika chuckled softly.

"Don't worry. I'm not here to pry into your secrets."

"Could've fooled me," Daniel muttered.

Her laughter rang again, melodic and bright.

"You're bolder than I expected. I like that."

Then her tone grew more serious.

"Listen, Daniel. In this universe, there exist beings whose strength defies every law known to existence"

"Power beyond comprehension"

"And you've encountered some of them"

Daniel frowned slightly.

"You mean the Apostles?"

"Precisely."

She reached out, her hand hovering above his.

"So, don't fear what you know"

There was genuine warmth in her voice now.

"To have someone like you in my world… it's a blessing I never dared dream of."

At that moment, Daniel's system spoke in his mind.

[: Host, you can trust her :]

'You're sure about this?' Daniel thought.

'She's literally the world itself'

[: Host, just like what she said, and it's not only her, if other planets were to have someone like you, they would be more delighted. Heck, they would even bow down to you :]

[: Moreover, she's been aware of you since your awakening, Host. But she cannot see through your stats or thoughts. :]

[: And it's because the planet have been finally connected to the will of the universe that she was able to see your titles and the rewards given by the universe:]

[: Other than that, she can't peer through your existence :]

'So, she's been watching me?'

[: Not really. Since she's a planet, she perceives all life within her :]

Daniel sighed quietly.

'Then I guess… I don't need to hide anything.'

He looked back up at Mika, whose patient eyes were fixed on him.

"To simplify everything," Daniel began slowly, "you're a planet born with a Nexus Heart, a treasure beyond comprehension"

"Because of that, you were targeted by countless beings, and so the First Ancestors sealed you, severing your connection to the Will of the Universe and halting your evolution."

Mika blinked, impressed.

"You really do know more than most."

"Let's say I have my sources," Daniel replied vaguely.

Mika chuckled.

"Then, my Lucky Prince Charm… do you finally understand why I call you that?"

Daniel shook his head.

"Not yet."

She smiled knowingly.

"Do you know what the requirements are for a planet to evolve?"

"No."

"There are many," she began, her tone softening into reverence. "But the most important is the collective strength of my children, the beings that live upon me."

Daniel nodded slowly.

"But you," she whispered, her eyes glowing brighter, "you alone were enough"

"Your existence, your feats, your victories, they could ignite my evolution for countless grades"

Daniel blinked. "Wait. You mean—"

"Yes," Mika said with uncontainable delight.

"Because of you, I'm eligible to evovle. Because of you, my world, our world, can evolve again."

She stepped closer, placing a hand over his heart.

"That's why you're my lucky charm prince, and you… are my anchor."

Daniel froze, stunned.

Her expression turned almost feverish, eyes burning with divine light.

"Do you understand now why I call you my Lucky Prince Charm"

Daniel swallowed hard. Her intensity was overwhelming.

"And now," Mika whispered, pressing a finger to her lips, "let me show you exactly what your presence has done to me."

Daniel could only watch as her aura pulsed like the heartbeat of a living world.

Whatever she was about to reveal… it was far beyond anything he had expected for a planet.

"The Will of the Universe has granted me titles and abilities combined and because it has solely achieved by you alone, it has mirrored its effects deeply involved with your actions"
