However, as he opened his mouth to speak, an invisible force seemed to seal his throat, preventing him from uttering a single word.

The cries and wails of countless beings from the Land of the Gods resonated in his ears, piercing through his soul like thousands of sharp blades that shook Grus's faith.

This demigod of the Land of the Gods could only feel its step towards destruction, unable to make any retort or action.

All the powerful figures present showed emotions on their faces, their eyes flickering with complex light. They hadn't witnessed the world-destroying spectacle of the Land of the Gods but had sensed something from Grus's sudden change in attitude.

The once proud demigod now stood pale-faced, his eyes revealing a hint of undisguisable fear and shock; this abnormal change sent shivers through the gathered powerful beings.

"It must be the Land of the Gods! A crisis has arisen in the Land of the Gods, causing Grus's sudden change!"

"The Land of the Gods has dozens of demigods and a unique domain that covers its core territory, capable of even suppressing a Divinity Transformation Daoist Monarch. How could such a change occur so easily?"

From the appearance of Lu Yan to the concession of Grus, it took only a few short minutes for the entire Land of the Gods to be shaken, revealing a power foundation far beyond the limits of the Great Destruction Realm.

They even began to wonder if the Underworld behind Lu Yan, like the Eternal Heaven, harbored the will of a forbidden being.

Amidst the turmoil of thoughts, Grus's expression changed again, showing delight in his eyes.

He could clearly feel that the collapsing Land of the Gods had suddenly halted its obliteration, and the believers were barely holding on. Even the demigods managed to escape the brink of demise temporarily.

However, his struggles were futile.

The light of faith surrounding the peak demigod Grus dimmed rapidly, like a brilliant star falling into the night, and his formidable presence plummeted swiftly.

Upper demigod, middle demigod, lower demigod, Holy Domain... In the span of a single breath, Grus fell from being one of the strongest present to the weakest.

The gathered light of faith transformed into meteors streaking across the sky, returning to the crumbling Land of the Gods.

It wasn't just Grus; the remaining envoys of the Land of the Gods at the ruins of Intelligent Machinery City, the Defenders within its territories, and even demigods barely surviving under the World Destruction Rules all felt a formless pull.

The light of faith around them receded like the tide, turning into countless small points of light that traversed through layers of void, ultimately converging in the collapsing Divine Hall of the Land of the Gods.

Within the Land of the Gods, Lu Yan looked with regret at the massive amount of faith returning, gathering like a tide within the ruins of the Divine Hall.

Faint light flickered, Dao Principles shifted, and the broken fragments of faith miraculously reassembled under the pull of an invisible force. His brow furrowed slightly, a rare hint of worry flashing in his eyes.

"In the end, it was still a step too late." Lu Yan sighed lightly, his voice like a breeze piercing through time and space, leaving a faint trace in the void.

Above the sky, two enormous World-Ending Mills, like ancient and silent gods, had already crushed most of the void. Every turn caused tremors in the Heaven and Earth Rules, and each ounce of power was enough to extinguish a world.

Yet, just as the World-Ending Mills were about to completely shatter the Land of the Gods, they slowly stopped turning, seemingly bound by an invisible force.

Lu Yan initiated a version update, twisting the core faith rules, leaving the entire Land of the Gods unable to suppress the World Destruction Rules.

Then, seizing the short-lived opportunity presented by the warped faith rules, he used the World Destruction Rules to annihilate the Land of the Gods completely.

But Lu Yan's method of utilizing a version update was, ultimately, a glitch, and even with the Great Collapse Celestial Dao aiding, it couldn't be maintained for long.

A few short seconds were already the limit.

Just before the Land of the Gods was about to be destroyed by the World-Ending Mill, the distortion caused by the version update was entirely unraveled, and the faith rules returned to the Land of the Gods.

Even though most of the Version Fragments were destroyed, millions of heroic spirit believers and numerous demigods had fallen, and the foundation of the faith rules was mostly destroyed.

Yet the Land of the Gods, after all, is a unique Divine Kingdom, decisively drawing upon all the Power of Faith within the Great Collapse version to forcibly revive the faith rules, thus suppressing the World Destruction Rules on the eve of its demise.
