I Become The Richest Man With A monthly Salary of Twenty Thousand Yuan

Chapter 261: Daughter of the Richest Man?

Watching Dong Jian leave, Dong Jiao looked somewhat exhausted. When it came to her disappointing younger brother, she was torn. On the one hand, she resented his failure to live up to expectations; on the other, she knew she couldn't give up on him. He was the youngest and her only brother. If I don't care for him, who will?

A moment later, she picked up her phone, logged into Taobao, and bought a large pile of things. Then, she casually opened WeChat and sent a voice message to a pinned friend: "Come over tomorrow night. I've agreed to what you proposed earlier. I've already bought everything."

Barely ten seconds later, a reply came back. Dong Jiao picked up her phone and saw a single word—"Okay!"—followed by over ten exclamation points! It was easy to imagine just how excited the person on the other end of the line was at that moment.

Before long, a man knocked on Dong Jiao's door. He appeared to be in his twenties, tall and thin with ordinary features, though his face was covered in acne. Overall, he was the type of person who would be completely inconspicuous on the street.

Today, Dong Jiao had changed into a revealing sailor suit, which perfectly showcased her flawless figure. The moment the man entered the room and saw her, his breathing grew ragged, and he eagerly pulled her into the bedroom...

An hour later, the man slowly sat up, leaning against the headboard. He took a cigarette from the bedside table, placed it between his lips, lit it, and took a long drag. Exhaling a large cloud of smoke, he felt utterly content. Beside him, Dong Jiao rolled over to lie on his chest, looking completely spent. The various marks covering her body bore witness to their recent wild passion.

The man took several more deep drags on his cigarette before speaking. "Spit it out. What is it you want from me?"

Despite his enjoyment, the man was no fool. He knew Dong Jiao's personality; she wouldn't have suddenly showered him with affection and been so cooperative last night if she didn't need something from him. He didn't mind, though. Whatever women ask for, it's usually something money can solve, and to me, that's nothing at all.

Dong Jiao adjusted her position to get more comfortable before she began to speak. "Yesterday, my brother borrowed my Porsche 911 to go have some fun. I lent it to him, but I never expected him to run into trouble. Not only did they smash the car, but they also forced him to sign an IOU for twenty yuan!"

Dong Jiao was no simpleton. She didn't explain the situation honestly to the man. Instead, she was vague, and in just a few words, she managed to pin all the blame on Xia Liang. "I had no other choice but to come to you," she said, looking up at the man with a pitiful gaze. "You have to help me!"

The man chuckled disdainfully and flicked the ash from his cigarette. "Heh, and here I thought it was something serious. Don't worry, I'll handle it for you. Tell your brother to contact that person and set up a meeting at Paradise Bar tonight. I want to see who in Qingyun City is so arrogant that they'd dare to smash my car!"

Hearing this, Dong Jiao's expression broke into a radiant smile. "Thank you, hubby~~" she cooed.

The man's eyebrows shot up as he felt a rush of excitement...

「Meanwhile, Xia Liang, having switched cars, arrived outside Haitian Residential Area.」

The customer had requested a pickup directly at her building's entrance since the residential complex was so large. Normally, security guards would refuse entry, citing safety reasons, and tell drivers to wait at the main gate. This often led to arguments and resulted in drivers receiving negative ratings.

For Xia Liang, however, this wasn't an issue. The barrier gate lifted automatically when his car was still ten meters away. The security guard, who would normally deny entry to rideshare drivers, suddenly snapped to attention in a perfect military stance and gave a crisp salute. Although the guard had seen his fair share of luxury cars while working at this high-end residential complex, he knew he couldn't afford to be the least bit lax with a vehicle of this caliber.

Xia Liang drove to the innermost building, having already called ahead. As he pulled up, he saw a young girl standing in the garden downstairs. He honked twice. The girl glanced at the luxury car a few times but didn't otherwise react, so Xia Liang drove closer and rolled down the window.

"Did you call for a rideshare?"

The girl's eyes widened. She slowly approached, circling the car once before asking, "You're the rideshare driver?"

"Yes. Get in."

"But I remember ordering a Mercedes."

"That car's in the shop," Xia Liang replied. "I haven't had a chance to update my profile yet."

The girl nodded incredulously. Her gaze shifted from the car to Xia Liang and back again. This guy not only drives a Lamborghini, but he's handsome too! Her heart fluttered, and she shyly lowered her head.

Seeing the girl just standing there like a dazed child, Xia Liang called out, "Hurry up and get in! The trip is about to time out."

Startled, the girl nodded and quickly got into the passenger seat.

"Buckle up!"

The girl mumbled an "oh" and buckled her seatbelt, all while stealthily gazing at Xia Liang. That handsome profile, that elegant air, those long eyelashes, that high-bridged nose... Isn't he my Prince Charming, straight out of a dream?

They sped off. Xia Liang's already impressive driving skills, now paired with the powerful Lamborghini, made for a drive that was just like a 'Catch Shrimp' scene. He navigated the familiar roads, attracting countless stares, yet still delivered his passenger to her destination safely and efficiently. The car pulled over on a street lined exclusively with shops specializing in high-end auto repair.

The girl didn't get out right away. She remained in the passenger seat, one hand pressed to her chest, trying to catch her breath.

Xia Liang didn't rush her. After all, not many girls could handle my kind of speed and passion.

"Ah? Are we here already?" she finally asked.

"We are. Hurry up and get out."

"Um..."

Xia Liang watched the girl fiddling with her fingers, his curiosity piqued. "Is there something else?"

"Could you do me a favor?"

"What is it?"

"My car was in for repairs, so I called a rideshare to come to the shop. The thing is, I don't know much about cars. Could you please help me check if they've actually fixed it?"

It wasn't a big deal, so Xia Liang nodded in agreement.

He locked his car and followed the girl toward the largest repair shop on the street. Before they even reached the entrance, a young man hurried out from inside. "Qingqing! Your car's all fixed!" he said, his face a mask of fawning adoration. He moved as if to familiarly sling an arm around her shoulder, but Qingqing deftly dodged him.

Not even slightly embarrassed. The guy's got some thick skin.

At that moment, Qingqing looked back at Xia Liang, and the sycophant guy's eyes followed, sizing him up. "Who's this?" he asked.

Suddenly, Qingqing turned and clung to Xia Liang's arm. "H-He's my friend," she stuttered. "He came to help me check on the car."

Xia Liang was surprised by her action at first, but his eyes quickly flicked to the sycophant guy. The guy's cheeks were puffed, his face was red, and his fists were clenched at his sides. Clearly, her intimate gesture had provoked him.

The sycophant guy glared at Xia Liang. "And what do you think you're doing here?"
