"Um, you both signed in the wrong place," Dani said with a wry smile, after scanning the papers.

She showed them both the papers where they signed.

"Huh, are you kidding me. You can't even sign properly, don't tell me you idiots can't read and write." Zinia snarked.

"My, my, so feisty." Orion chuckled.

"My apologies, Dani. I hope you don't mind going to print another." Orion said with a pleading expression.

Dani just sighed, a wry expression on her face, before she took off again, leaving the paper behind.

"This is really going to be tough, isn't it, Caelum?" Orion said with a sigh.

"It's as expected, young master. Hardship is meant to groom." Caelum replied.

Zinia's ears immediately stood on end when she heard 'young master'.

This was the first time Caelum had spoken since they got here, and now she was hearing young master from his mouth. That immediately put her on guard.

Caelum was allowed into magnum 1, which meant he was also a child of an important individual, for him to call Orion young master meant-

"For magnum 1 students to resort to duping new entries, how tough must it be to earn points?" Orion said, his gaze on Zinia.

A scowl formed on Zinia's face, her mana flaring once more.

"What did you just say?" She snarled.

Orion's facial expression changed immediately, his gaze turning predatory, mana flaring and pouring out of him.

The immense pressure fell directly on Zinia, her eyes widening in fear. She shuddered and immediately dropped to her knees.

"Try that one more time and I assure you, you'd regret it," Orion said, his tone cold.

He dropped the pressure, his expression returning to normal before dropping on the bench with one leg over the other.

"Who-" Zinia tried to speak.

"Firstly," Orion interrupted.

"Have you ever heard of the phrase, good cop, bad cop?" Orion asked.

Zinia stayed silent, glaring at him. This boy had made her kneel; how dare he, but she couldn't do anything, that show of strength alone had made her feel awful.

Of course, she knew he couldn't harm her physically, or he risked being expelled, but being under that pressure was mental harm in itself.

"I won't ask again," Orion said, turning to her.

Zinia hesitated, thinking about his question before opening her mouth.

"No," Her voice came out dry, as though parched from lack of water.

"Well, note it, what you and your companion just did was a perfect example of it. You played the bad guy (bad cop) while she played the good guy (good cop) all to dupe us out of some points." Orion said.

"Dupe you, why-" Zinia tried to defend.

"It's pointless, trying to lie at this point, don't," Orion said with a sigh.

"I have to commend you both, though, your acting skills are simply top-notch," Orion muttered with a contemplative expression.

'He figured it out, how?' Zinia thought, her mind in panic.

"So, Zinia, on a scale of 1-100 in expense, what exactly is the worth of 5000 coins. And don't try to lie, I'll know." Orion said.

Zinia's expression was grim. She hesitated for a bit, her mind wondering whether he'd be able to tell if she lied or not, but she couldn't afford to test that now; she didn't want to experience that feeling again, and considering he figured out their ploy, it was better to be safe than sorry.

She immediately thought of the safest answer she could give; it was a weird question after all.

"9," she said.

"Wow, that's steep, you guys really meant business," Orion said with a chuckle.

"I'm guessing, we sign your contract and we become your slaves long term?" Orion asked.

Zinia nodded her head.

"That's cold, and you even joked about a hundred thousand." Orion chuckled again.

"How did you figure it out?" Zinia asked.

"Aren't you a curious one?" Orion said, turning to her with an enigmatic smile.

"Well, we have about nine minutes before good cop returns, so I'll humour you," Orion said.

"Firstly, it's currently around nine AM in the morning, you just arrived, and the next thing you decide to do is sit in the park as third years. I don't know about you, but I think that's very suspicious." Orion said, waving his finger like a scolding teacher.

"Secondly, I lied, your acting's terrible, I could sense your gazes immediately we got to the park, I could literally feel the enthusiasm emanating from you both. But maybe that's a me thing, I tend to be special." Orion said with a smirk.

"Thirdly, you both talk too much; the conversation and drama flowed freely, but it was too much. I suggest you work on that in your next heist." Orion said with a shake of his head.

"Fourthly, well this one is a compliment, I have to say if I didn't already catch on to you guys before, I might not have noticed, the way you brought up the contract was quite impressive, but I am curious what your plan would have been if we decided to find something else to exchange, I could literally have exchanged a nice sword. But that's for another day." Orion said, clapping his hands.

"Lastly, this one's another speciality problem, I can literally read Dani's location right now, and she hasn't teleported back to her hostel, if she did, I wouldn't be able to sense her, she's simply running around trying to work up sweat," Orion said with a chuckle.

"Of course, there were other minor signs, but we'll leave those," Orion said.

"So, in summary, you left your homes quite early and arrived in school early, knowing some students would be planning to seek info, and you decided, well, let's make some privileged slaves that can serve as our money banks," Orion said.

"You seem to hate the privileged after all, or maybe it's simply part of the act." Orion said with a sigh.
