The Growth of a God

Chapter 21: Fortune and the Five Children (3/3)

"Isn't this against the rules?"

This sentence wasn't spoken by The Merciless Guanyin, but by Yao Xin's incarnation to a certain Huang Mei Tongzi.

This is the largest City of Intelligent Mechanism in the World of Fallen Gods, also where the largest fragment of the Artificial Primordial Spirit is located.

The Longevity, Wealth and Honor, Kangning, Good Virtue, and Good End that The Merciless Guanyin sensed were nurtured through the central intelligent brain here.

Not only did it collect the faith and concepts of the Intelligent Mechanism Camp, but it also resonated with some individuals from the Undead Camp.

The key point is, the fragment of the Artificial Primordial Spirit is currently rebuilding the Virtual Space, recreating a Data World corresponding to the World of Fallen Gods.

The relationship between the two is akin to that between the Mountain and Sea Realm and the Netherworld.

Once the reconstruction succeeds, the once fleeting Celestial Matrix Buddha will be reborn again and become the supreme ruler of the Data World.

Thus, Longevity, Wealth and Honor, Kangning, Good Virtue, and Good End effectively represent the five dimensions of that Data World, destined apostles under the Artificial Primordial Spirit.

This is the "God Creation Plan" of Maitreya Buddha.

As an Ancient God, Maitreya Buddha never regarded those Ascenders of the World of Fallen Gods seriously from the start.

The God he desires is the Primordial Spirit, or at least the Innate God under the Primordial Spirit symbolizing the "essence of the world".

"If we're talking about breaking the rules, isn't it your Creator who did it first?"

Even though it's just an incarnation, Yao Xin is at least the incarnation of the Goddess of Death.

The opposing Huang Mei Tongzi showed no fear or hesitation, but lifted his eyelids with a half-smile.

"Allowing a hunk of metal tainted with faith in a Mysterious God to join this 'game' clearly shows your Creator is a bit too overflowing with compassion."

"I've seen countless types of True Gods, but a God helping other Gods cultivate their divine seems, I've lived so long yet it's my first time seeing."

The "hunk of metal" that Huang Mei Tongzi referred to was naturally David.

Entering the field as the "chess piece" of the Creator, but essentially a believer or even a prospective apostle of another God.

When Huang Mei Tongzi discovered this, he even thought for a moment it was a Desecrator who had deceived the Creator.

However, noticing the Celestial Tao System and Quinn's favor towards David, Huang Mei Tongzi knew he was a move from the Mountain and Sea Realm.

"The Father God is a God of compassion, naturally his actions aren't something you 'Buddhas' can understand."

Glanced disdainfully at Huang Mei Tongzi.

Yao Xin obviously wasn't impressed by Maitreya Buddha's claim that "all beings are Buddhas".

Clearly making others willingly become his own incarnation, but ended up with such sophistical logic.

"However, I'm a bit surprised you're researching how to create a Netherworld and how to create a Creator."

Though speaking of being a bit surprised, Yao Xin didn't have any emotional waves in her heart.

Because long ago, Li Hao had mentioned to Yao Xin that even if he didn't discover the existence of the Artificial Primordial Spirit, Maitreya Buddha would eventually voluntarily reveal this information to the Mountain and Sea Realm.

What is currently happening is merely a different form of validation for Li Hao's statement.

"..."

Looking at Yao Xin who was clearly pretending to be oblivious, Huang Mei Tongzi remained silent.

Why Maitreya Buddha ultimately chose to compromise and open the world along with the Creator, Huang Mei Tongzi didn't believe Yao Xin was unaware.

After all, she was the designated overseer arranged by the Creator in this world, granted with a portion of the Celestial Tao System's authority as the Supreme Death God.

Unable to expose her act of feigned ignorance, Huang Mei Tongzi had no choice.

After all, Huang Mei Tongzi was merely an apostle of Maitreya Buddha, and one without a Divine Position at that.

In contrast, Yao Xin isn't just an apostle of the Creator,

she is also a Supreme God of the Netherworld, her status in every aspect vastly exceeds that of Huang Mei Tongzi.

Fortunately, since the Creator chose to reach an agreement with Maitreya Buddha, then the plan to restore the Artificial Primordial Spirit will sooner or later be put on the agenda.

Regarding this, Huang Mei Tongzi wasn't anxious at all.

The long years of life may not have granted him immense power, but definitely bestowed him with abundant patience.

Moreover, the Creator's proposal was actually much better in effect than Huang Mei Tongzi imagined.

By observing the Ascenders who came to the World of Fallen Gods, Huang Mei Tongzi felt his horizons and overall perspective had greatly expanded.

In the monotonous Buddha Realm, such prosperity and excitement are unimaginable.

More importantly, in this world managed jointly by the Creator, no All Buddhas or Bodhisattvas would come to intervene in Maitreya Buddha's actions.

As the future master of the Buddha Realm, the one who will inherit the position of Buddha 5,670 million years later, Maitreya Buddha is far more restricted than Li Hao imagined.

This is the equivalence of responsibility and obligation, and also the mission that Maitreya Buddha must shoulder.

"The 'Five Boys' are Gods by birth, they won't step in."

After a long passage of time, it was eventually the Huang Mei Tongzi who first broke the awkward silence.

"My Buddha always emphasizes equality for all beings, and the real destined one has yet to come to this world."

Now it's Yao Xin's turn to raise an eyebrow in slight surprise, then upon careful thinking, it seems not so odd.

After all, in the original plan of both Creator and Maitreya Buddha, there wasn't an intention for any Ascender to first raise the Divine Throne.

Competing over which side's Ascender elevates first is less of a plan by the two Supreme Elders and more of a "bet" between the executors under them.

Both sides wanted their own Ascender to first raise to the Divine Throne to bring honor to their own Supreme Elder.

As for the Creator and Maitreya Buddha?

They didn't seem to care much about these trivial matters, possibly not even noticing this tacit "bet".

"By the time your destined one arrives, this wager might already be over."

Upon hearing this, Huang Mei Tongzi looked at Yao Xin with a bit of astonishment.

"You're so confident in that hunk of metal?"

The Path to Divinity is long and endless.

While opportunity and potential are fundamental to whether an Ascender can achieve Divine Investiture, time is equally a foundation for their accumulation.

Judging from Yao Xin's words, that Ascender tainted with the aura of a Mysterious God seems to be able to quickly raise the Divine Throne?

"It's not confidence, but that he simply doesn't have time."

Gave Huang Mei Tongzi a faint glance, Yao Xin's eyes flickered with countless scenes and information—that was proof that the Celestial Tao System was operating at full capacity.

"David came to this world with a 'do or die' mindset..."

"He and his world have no path of retreat left."
