It didn't take long for everyone to get their weapons ready since we were used to fighting by now. It doesn't take long for us to prepare against anyone that decides to challenge us.
I didn't even realize it at first but the scales were already all over my arms with the talons formed as well. My power was already instinctively active so it wouldn't be that bad to get through this.
The view was starting to take on red like usual which was throwing me off a bit for some reason. Normally I'm used to it taking in this strange hazy look but something about it is bothering me.
"I guess it is time to start the fight. Come in after me." I say quietly.
"Just.. don't do anything stupid." Ghost responds with a bit of worry in her voice.
"I'll be fine. I promise." I assure her with confidence.
It was instant but I found myself right in front of the big guy that he called Thomas and threw a right hook immediately. Pow!!!! It felt like hitting a pile of bricks but it still was enough to send him flying towards the others.
But I couldn't stop here I was already in motion and couldn't help but kick across the face of one of the others that were behind me, sending them flying as well.
Two for one. One felt like a damn like it bricks while the other was an easy target.
"The intruder makes himself known. You seem strong as well. Why fight us when you can join us?" Leo asks with a mischievous grin.
My gaze is set right on him. "I don't think I'm interested." I respond with a serious tone while raising my fists.
'How did he get over there so fast? It was like he teleported.' Akina thought to herself.
"It was worth a try. Tear him apart." Leo instructs his people while crossing his arms.
As they started to rush me I could finally see the others making their way into the fight, slashing through the enemies before me. Blood hitting the ground in a matter of seconds as my eyes stayed on the leader.
Something about him was throwing me off so I didn't want to take my eyes off of him.
"You lied!" Thomas shouted as his hand grabbed onto my face.
Shit. Shit. Shit.
Fwoooosh!!!! I felt myself getting thrown through the air until finally I crashed into a building. Crash!!!!!! Pieces of debris fell all around me as I sat there on the ground for a second.
That is so odd, why didn't I sense him at all? His speed also doesn't make any sense for his size so what the hell just happened?
I'm at a loss.
As I begin to stand up I can already see a fist coming towards me once again. "Shit!!!" I shout while raising my arms to block.
KRAA-THOOM!!!!! It felt like my arms wanted to break as his fist hit against them. What kind of strength does this guy have?!
It wasn't going to push me back like it did before since I'm able to prepare for it a bit but it is still quite the punch. He's strong and fast, a deadly combination indeed.
"If you would've joined us, you could've avoided this!" He shouts with anger in his voice.
"I'm good. You all kill without any care." I reply with a calm tone in my voice.
He kept throwing punches as I remain on the defensive but this was how the stance would work out in my favor anyway. Alarion showed me how to use a multi purpose stance for a reason.
As he threw the next punch I dodge it instead and quickly grabbed his arm. Snap!!! Crack!!
I held it with one hand while slamming my palm underneath with the other hand. Breaking it right in the middle without any problems.
Stomp! Stomp! He fell back a few steps while he observed his broken arm, he didn't let out any shrieks of pain, just pure silence.
"I can fight with one arm anyway!" Thomas shouted before charging in once again.
It seems like I'm going to have to break his other arm as well, here I thought the fight was going to be a bit more intense. He really did just catch me off guard the first time and a little bit the second time.
His strength is definitely no joke but he doesn't seem to have much battle sense to him. I'd also confidently say that his intelligence isn't that high.
Wiff!! Wiff!! I could finally feel my speed coming back again so it was even easier to dodge his attacks now. His punches were going past me with a bit of wind each time but I could read him now.
"My turn big guy." I say while winding back my fist.
The moment I threw my punch towards him I was met with his broken arm blocking against it. CRACK!! POW!!! It still wasn't enough to withstand the full force of the punch since I shifted more power into it.
He was launched away towards the group of people and it only took a few seconds for him to crash.
Don't get too cocky. Your arms would've been broken if you didn't have power evenly distributed throughout your body. His strength is no joke but his brain is holding him back.
Lacking intelligence to properly read the opponent can make it quick difficult.
I wasn't getting cocky, I'm just starting to understand his attacks a bit better. He also isn't the brightest so it shouldn't be that big of a deal either.
That is exactly what makes the battle even more difficult. He won't plan his attacks.
Within moments of her saying that I noticed he was already about to punch me, he didn't waste any time coming back into the fight.
"Grahhhhh!! I'll kill you!!!" Thomas shouts with anger in his voice.
