Infinite Awakening: My Exp Doubles Everyday

Chapter 412: Breaking Laws

Chapter 412: Breaking Laws

Xiang Yu skimmed through the reset screen.

For body refining, he was currently at the fiftieth layer of body refining after all the breakthroughs.

He wondered if this was enough to reach half-step immortal combat power.

For the qi realms, he was currently at the tenth layer of void realm, just a few experience points away from the halfway point. If he worked extra hard today, he might be able to enter the integration realm the next reset.

His soul was also progressing nicely, just a few resets away from advancing to the elder stage.

With his current soul, he was able to expand up to a mile an hour inside the spiritual sea. Currently, he had a genuine space of around twenty-two thousand miles radius.

With this area, he should be able to create a few genuine stars.

Well technically, they wouldn’t really be stars with the small size, but it didn’t matter for him. The main problem was having enough mass to trigger nuclear fusion. But with his stellar constellation physique, he could forcibly exert extreme gravitational force on the stars to trigger the nuclear fusion. So the actual mass of the star didn’t really matter.

Even so, he decided to not make the stars instantly and wait.

At the moment, if he made a genuine star, the weight might be too heavy to bear and not instantly trigger the advancement of his mind. Since there wasn’t anything he was getting at the moment from creating the genuine stars, it was better to wait until his mind was almost at its limit, then use the chance to push it past its limit, forcing another mind breakthrough.

He could also use this chance to accumulate more and more genuine space, so he’d be able to make a sufficiently large star.

Moving on, his spiritual root and enlightenment were now at the immortal grade. The feeling was really foreign, but he didn’t dislike it at all. Now he was just a level behind Li Yao in natural talent. He should be able to catch up to her in a week or so.

His chaos body was almost at the halfway point. If he could gain as much experience as he had the day before, he should be able to skip a reset and have it advance the next reset.

The war god body had just entered its final stages of the entry realms according to his dao body theory.

If he’s lucky, in the next reset, it should be able to advance to the mastery stages. If his theory is right, he should gain a domain related to the physique. He wondered what kind of domain the war god body would have. Well, he’d see.

For his domains, void and gravity had advanced to the absolute level due to the earlier state of enlightenment.

All the other domains had entered the world realm, boosting his combat power considerably. With his boost in enlightenment and also the daily enlightenment chance, he guessed it wouldn’t be long before he could level them all up to the absolute realm.

The soul flame had also advanced to the first grade, significantly boosting the efficiency of his secondary professions like alchemy, runesmithing and blacksmithing. It also boosted the strength of his void palm ability as well as the soul damage dealt from it.

Moving on to his professions, nothing interesting had happened apart from the breakthrough in researcher to immortal grade, which had now turned to truth seeker. With this, and his daily enlightenment chance, Xiang Yu felt he should be able to snipe the absolute source concept during reset.

He then waved his hand dismissively, closing the system screen.

He then glanced at the other system notification that had been floating at the corner of his eye for a while:

[You created a new path for the [Researcher] profession, [Truth Seeker], choose a reward]

[1: Upgrade an existing system function]

[2: Unlock a new system function]

After some contemplation, he chose to upgrade the battle simulation function.

The upgrade happened instantly and he received information on the new feature. After the upgrade, he could now get a virtual map in his head that showed him the exact coordinates of the detected cultivators. This was exactly what he was looking for.

Before, although he had known of the existence of multiple immortals in the mortal world, he wasn’t able to exactly pinpoint their location and his junior sister had almost been captured by the beast god.

With this, he could more easily avoid tricky situations like that.

Well, he wouldn’t really get himself into those situations in the first place, so it was more for his junior sister when she went out.

Now that he was done analyzing the day’s gains, he decided to enter the simulation and try out his strength.

For his opponent, he directly chose Li Yao in her heavenly dao avatar form. He thought to himself that for some reason, he felt like he could win even though he hadn’t grasped a law.

She appeared before him, swinging her sword towards his neck.

He bent his back, avoiding the strike. He thought to himself that he didn’t feel as helpless anymore.

She teleported again and swung her sword, an energy blade charging towards him. He raised his hand, catching the blade with his hand and shattering it into light particles.

“It’s just as I thought,” he murmured. “As long as I have enough physical strength, not even the law matters.”

He then pushed himself from the air, tearing through space at extreme speed and appearing directly before her. She tried to make distance by expanding the space around them, but he threw a punch, completely shattering the space a few thousand miles around them.

He then used his void palm, delivering a full power strike to her abdomen. But when he did that, it was the same as last time, it seemed as though he wasn’t dealing any damage at all. Although his attack connected, he felt all the energy disperse instead of being transferred.

He thought to himself that the law of heavenly way was really tricky, but all he needed was even more power. As long as his physical power was strong enough, he wouldn’t be bound by something like a law.

He exerted even more power onto his palm and struck again. This time, the attack dealt damage and she was thrown back a few miles.

The two stood opposite each other, gazing at each other. Then suddenly, they disappeared and reappeared at the middle, their powers clashing.
