Chapter 2547: Shadow message
Not just the Hastin village.
Almost every leading organization on the planet had a similar conversation and they sent at least one person.
And they all travelled in the matter of minutes.
Even as Sam was witnessing the heated battle with a massive grin on his face, the newcomers appeared far above in the sky, but still saw everything clear as a day.
Two creatures, one that they were familiar with and another completely foreign were fighting fiercely.
Parth and Bhim who were the first to arrive had deep frowns on their face.
At that time, a man wearing a full set of metallic body armor flew towards them. He had long hair with a giant spear in his hands. He looked rugged and dominant. But next to Parth, his aura seemed to have diminished immediately.
"What is that?" He asked, without so much as an introduction.
Parth waited for a second before he replied.
"It is the Giant Land Crocodile. But a version of it from different world. I believe it might have come from the shadow world."
"Shadow world?" The man with the spear asked.
"Yes. It is a parallel world, but it is of shadows. Not the living. That’s where the necromancers summon the undead shadows from."
"How did a shadow come out while the beast is still alive? And why are they fighting...." He was about to go on and on.
But noticing Parth’s expression, Bhim grunted.
"Shin..."
The man with the spear, named Shin suddenly turned silent and noticed that Parth’s attention was not actually locked in on the battle.
He was looking at a certain mountain.
Looking at how focused he was, Shin didn’t dare disturb him. More and more people arrived with time and the battle intensified.
As they spectated, all of a sudden, they noticed a clear shift.
As the two apexes fought, all of a sudden the shadow apex, which was originally clinging to the regular apex, disappeared in a puff of smoke and reappeared behind the regular apex’s back. It was even faster than the regular apex and dug its teeth straight into the neck.
Blood gushed out.
But the Apex still managed to escape before its flesh was torn off.
It turned around and a charge appeared in its mouth. Its scales started glowing...
*BOOM*
The attack was directed at the shadow apex. Which actually didn’t dodge it. Instead, it charged forward...
It got hit, blew up into smoke, reappeared and this time, there was a massive ball of energy condensed in its mouth.
*BOOM*
A similar energy blast, but with a black glow and appeared a lot more powerful hit the apex.
It didn’t even get a chance to resist. The attack bore a hole through it and killed it off right there.
Sam immediately made his move at that moment. Before the body of the apex could hit the ground, Sam made some changes. Instead of falling into the shadow world, the body of the apex was standing right there, suspended...
He wanted to take the corpse away. That was a peak stage Divine plane consummation corpse. Extremely valuable.
Sam could bet that the entire academy realm would fight to death with each other, even would sell out their three generations of ancestors to get a piece of it.
It is an extremely powerful resource.
And Sam could only think of all the things that he could do.
However, he didn’t dare take it away immediately. Forget about the people that were hovering high in the sky... he noticed them, the key factor is how the shadow apex would behave.
As Sam waited, there was a faint glow around the shadow apex and its eyes seemed to have gained more life.
"Human... I do not know who you are... However, you have my gratitude. Because of you, I was able defeat my real self. And I am no longer bound to this creature and became my own creature.
I gained full sentience and freedom and I can roam the world of shadows freely without constraints.
You have my gratitude.
If there is ever a chance, I would repay you a hundred times."
These words were heard all over the island. They were loud, resonant and most importantly kinda ethereal.
Everyone knew where they were coming from.
The shadow apex.
It’s mouth didn’t move. But it did speak.
Sam who was the recipient of the message had a huge smile on his face.
"Thank you."
Sam replied.
The shadow apex then looked at the sky before diving back into the shadow world again.
The moment it left, instead of reducing, the shadow energy influx increased. At the edge of the formation, crystals akin to spirit stones started forming.
With a wave of his hand, Sam made the corpse of the apex disappear and the next moment. With another wave his friends are back in the mountain.
They were all super pissed, but at the same time, super shocked.
Philip was about to lose his shit, but Sam stopped him with a gesture.
He disappeared from the spot and reappeared in the middle of the formation. The barrier turned translucent and he could see through it.
The people in the sky were looking at them as well.
However, not a single person made a move. But they had different expressions showing on their face.
"Naka... bring brother Saha here."
Parth said and Naka nodded before crushing a transference token.
Within three minutes, Naka is back with another spatial fluctuation, and along with was his brother Saha.
"What do you need me for, Brother?"
Saha asked Parth respectfully.
"That formation. What do you think it is?"
Saha looked at the formation and frowned... His eyes glowed with a golden light. But the frown only deepened.
"Brother I can’t completely understand it without inspecting it directly. It is dangerous, but it certainly can’t withstand even an attack from you brother. So, if you want..."
"No need."
Parth paused and looked at the rest of gang.
"If no one has any objections. I would first meet this new friend."
No one responded and even moved a couple of steps back. Parth nodded and flew down towards the formation.
