Chapter 1321: Divine Tiger Guardian General, Zhao Qianjun

When Li Hongyou said that the medium sized Other Dominion before them likely contained two high-grade Foundational Spirit Treasures, Li Luo, Jiang Qing'e and Li Foluo all knew that they couldn't let anyone else take it.

Thus Li Foluo turned towards Zhao Qianjun who was coldly glaring at them as he smiled and shook his head. "I'm sorry, since we are already here, we can't leave empty handed. We also want to explore this Other Dominion as well."

When Zhao Qianjun heard his refusal, his eyes turned gloomy. He didn't understand why Li Foluo was so determined to fight them this early because it didn't make rational sense.

Thus Zhao Qianjun could only guess that the reason why Li Foluo acted this way was because Zhao Jiyun had targeted Li Luo and Jiang Qing'e in the past for the Sovereign Pearl. They were taking this opportunity to get back at him. Frightening amounts of resonant power began to emanate from Zhao Qianjun like a storm as a huge wave of pressure descended on everyone present.

His gloomy eyes were focused on Li Foluo before briefly sweeping his gaze past Jiang Qing'e, Li Luo and finally Li Hongyou. However just when everyone thought the two teams were about to clash, the resonant power around him began to gradually recede.

"Li Foluo, I hope you don't regret this." He aloofly said.

With those ominous words and his posture, it was clear he had no intentions to forcefully push them away.

"Guardian General, we arrived at this Other Dominion first. Why are we letting them go in without a fight?" Zhao Zhuoyan asked hurriedly.

He wanted to return the humiliation he had received to Li Luo. During the struggle for the Sovereign Pearl, he had been beaten to within half an inch of death and had suffered immensely. His injuries had also harmed his cultivation progress, reducing the speed at which he could advance to the upper second-grade Duke stage. Thus his hatred for Li Luo was immense.

Zhao Qianjun glared at him as he frowned. "Do you think we can actually beat them?"

Zhao Zhuoyan was taken aback. "Why not? The only reason why Jiang Qing'e and Li Luo could emerge victorious during the struggle for the Sovereign Pearl was because of the support of the Dragon's Fang Guardians, reducing the gap between our cultivation bases. There are no Dragon's Fang Guardians today so we can definitely beat them silly. Brother Yun and I will be able to regain our honor after this!" Zhao Qianjun retorted. "If you truly think this way, I feel like you might very well die by Li Luo's hands."

Zhao Zhuoyan was about to retort when Zhao Qianjun interrupted him and his expression changed. "Li Luo might not have the aid of the Dragon's Fang Guardians but did you forget that he still has a spirit beast as his trump card? From what we gathered, the spirit beast is at the second-grade Duke stage and might be no weaker than you. Furthermore Li Hongyou possesses a supportive resonance and she's now in the Duke stage. If she bolsters Li Foluo and Jiang Qing'e, do you think that Zhao Jiyun and I have a chance to beat them?"

Perspiration beaded on Zhao Zhuoyan's forehead as he unwillingly clenched his teeth. "When we fought over the Sovereign Pearl, I never once saw Li Luo tap upon the spirit beast's strength. Perhaps he might no longer be able to use it. It's likely that he's limited in its usage anyways."

"Perhaps, but there are other squads eyeing us here as well. They clearly hope that Li Foluo and I would both be injured here so that they can act as the fisherman and fish up all the rewards. Thus it is stupid to act here." Zhao Qianjun continued. Zhao Jiyun continued, "The Guardian General should be waiting for help to arrive. Since we already sent out a signal for help, once we join hands with our reinforcements, we will be able to control the entire space. At that point in time, they will have to cough up all the treasures they have snatched from us. The Guardian General's plan is the safest bet whereas you, Zhao Zhuoyan, are too impatient."

Zhao Zhuoyan nodded his head reluctantly upon being berated. He knew that he had been too anxious as he wanted to obtain revenge. He couldn't help it. Ever since he had lost to Li Luo, he was the laughing stock amongst the Ten Thousand Beast Guardianss.

Now that he had personally set eyes on Li Luo yet again, he wished to remove this stain on his reputation. It was his best chance yet.

Zhao Qianjun didn't side with him any further, only placing his hands behind his back as he continued to stare at Li Foluo, almost akin to a tiger stalking its prey in the forest, making plans to deliver a killing blow all at once.

Meanwhile Li Foluo frowned. "This fellow must definitely be waiting for reinforcements. It seems he is as cautious as ever."

"Do you want us to call for help then?" Li Hongyou asked.

If another squad with a Guardian General came to assist, it would be two against one and they would likely be in some danger.

However the group paused momentarily. Based on the rules, any squads that came to assist would share equally in the spoils within the Other Dominion.

"Let's send out a signal for help to be on the safe side. Although I don't know if it's too late to do it now, we have to nip the trouble in the bud. After all, our lives are more important than treasures." Li Luo deeply sighed as he suggested.

The rest similarly nodded their heads.

When Li Foluo saw this, he took out a silver talisman. There were numerous runes engraved upon it and it seemed to resemble the symbol signifying the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Li.

It quickly ignited and turned into a wisp of green smoke that vanished.

"Let's go. We will directly enter the Other Dominion. No matter what happens, we can discuss it later after we obtain the high-grade Foundational Spirit Treasures." After which Li Foluo no longer hesitated. He exhaled lightly as his figure bounded towards the warped space which revealed the ancient gate.

Zhao Qianjun wanted to waste their time whereas they had to do the opposite, which was to vanquish this Other Dominion as soon as possible and escape with the high-grade Foundational Spirit Treasures. That way if another squad were to arrive and join hands with Zhao Qianjun and settle the score, they would be able to take the treasures and escape.

Jiang Qing'e, Li Luo, Li Hongyou and the rest immediately followed behind.

When the squads from the other powers saw this, they couldn't resist the temptation any longer as well. They flashed forward, directly entering the Other Dominion. They had chosen to stand still before, mainly because they wanted to wait for Zhao Qianjun to enter first and if they hid behind him, there would be much less pressure.

When Zhao Qianjun saw that others were swarming into the Other Dominion, his expression turned even darker. They had previously been cowed into submission and didn't even dare to move. However Li Foluo had disrupted this situation.

"Go!" However he couldn't hold on any longer either. He had to enter as well and keep an eye on Li Foluo.

With his command, a line of people rushed out.

Li Luo and the rest under Li Foluo's lead had directly tunneled in the direction of the ancient gate.

As their figure passed through the gate, they could hear countless sounds before them. When they looked around, they could see a bustling city scene with numerous people coming and going.

Pedestrians and vendors filled the street as far as the eye could see.

It seemed as though it was a living, thriving city!

However Li Luo's gaze turned cold when they witnessed this. Although the expressions on the faces of these humans seemed realistic, they knew that this was just an illusion cast by the Other Dominion.

Furthermore Jiang Qing'e's senses towards Others were particularly sharp and she could detect inhuman presences hiding beneath these human skins.

This city was a killing ground.

This was a middle sized Other Dominion and danger was aplenty. It far exceeded that of a small sized Other Dominion.

When faced with this scene, Li Foluo immediately burst forth with his upper fourth-grade Duke stage strength. With a single strike, boundless amounts of resonant power swept towards his front.

Wherever the resonant power passed by, it razed both the people and the buildings into dust. The figures of the pedestrians shattered and some Others which were hidden within were pulverized into ash and smoke before being able to react.

On the street, the remaining walking individuals suddenly froze as all their heads turned towards the squad simultaneously, casting their cold eyes upon these intruders.

A moment later, ear rending screeches were emitted from all of them.

The bodies of these pedestrians began to distort as corruption filled the air. Strange Others began to emerge one after another.

Within which were numerous True Devil Others as well.

Corruption descended like a tide, blotting out the skies and the sun within the Other Dominion.
