Chapter 1320: Passing By Other Dominions

As time passed, the corruption within the outer region gradually dissipated. The originally distorted spaces gradually returned to normal and the surroundings went back to normal.

This was as most of the Other Dominions in the outer perimeter were being gradually cleansed by the experts of the numerous powers.

Through the process, some squads also celebrated as they received their spoils of battle whereas others were left depressed due to the paltry treasures obtained whilst being heavily injured.

There was an entire spectrum of emotions present.

However there was no other choice. The World End's River Treasure Domain was not some cordial training exercise. Those who wanted to obtain treasures would naturally have to make preparations to give up their own lives. This was a location where they not only had to keep a look out for Others but also avaricious thieves.

For the purposes of obtaining more Foundational Spirit Treasures, if they sensed that the other party was weak, including those from Heavenly Emperor powers, there would be rogue cultivators descending upon them like ravenous wolves.

This was especially after the medium sized Other Dominions appeared. High-grade Foundational Spirit Treasure which were capable of inciting unrequited greed from other cultivators were being unearthed one after another and it was enough for them to take on risks to obtain it.

As a result, Li Luo and his squad remained on alert.

However their squad was not the same as others. They had discovered four medium sized Other Dominions in half a day but chose not to enter any of them, directly bypassing it.

Based on Li Hongyou's senses, these four did not contain any high-grade Foundational Spirit Treasures.

Since there weren't any, they would naturally see no need to vanquish those Other Dominions. After all, it would be a huge waste of time and effort. Thus they kindly left these areas for the other squads to explore.

That's right, when Li Luo and the rest arrived before some of these Other Dominions, there were already a few other squads eyeing them. They too were similarly on alert and warily observing them. After all, if more squads entered, it would also mean there would be a fight for the Foundational Spirit Treasures that revealed themselves after.

However, just as they were keeping a close eye on Li Luo's squad, they had instead turned to leave after a single glance.

Before they left, Li Luo had even magnanimously informed the other squads that since they were first to arrive, they would not be involving themselves, even wishing them good luck in their ventures.

The other squads, seeing how they had chosen to give up, were first surprised, and then elated, quickly expressing their thanks and gratitude. Thus they even happened to gain some goodwill amongst them.

Yet to those who fully understood what was happening, including the likes of Li Foluo, they didn't know whether to laugh or to cry. Li Luo never failed to give up any sort of opportunity to gain something of some kind... and in this case it was a positive impression.

As time passed, they ignored one Other Dominion after another. Although it seemed as though they were wasting time, Li Luo and the rest remained patient. After all, a high-grade Foundational Spirit Treasure far exceeded a middle-grade one.

Two high-grade ones were able to exchange for quasi ninth-grade spirit liquids and purifying lights from Lu Shuanglu. Whereas even 20 middle-grade ones might only attract her disgust.

However, by the time they reached the ninth Other Dominion, the situation changed.

Li Luo could clearly see that when Li Hongyou approached this one, her eyes lit up brightly and even a look of joy surfaced.

Jiang Qing'e and Li Foluo who had seen the change in her finally let out a sigh of relief. Did they finally find one?

Li Luo then glanced at the medium sized Other Dominion before him. The space was severely distorted and huge amounts of corruption emanated from it, resulting in some low grade Others being spawned in the area around it.

If one were to look carefully, it seemed to resemble an ancient gate to a city. Behind the gate were countless blurry figures.

This Other Dominion contained fluctuations of energy that caused Li Luo to feel a sense of pressure. Clearly there were quite a number of True Devils that weren't low grade.

That said there were a few other squads who had also arrived before them.

Most surprising was the fact that one of the squads had a lot of "familiar friends".

Zhao Jiyun, Zhao Zhuoyan and Zhao Zhu!

During the struggle for the Sovereign Pearls in the Golden Stone Valley, the two parties had engaged in a fight of life and death.

Clearly this was the squad that contained the Divine Tiger Guardians from the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Zhao.

Li Luo's gaze fell upon them and one figure stood out at the front. It was a well built male and he emanated with strong resonant power fluctuations that caused the squads around them to look at him in fear.

He then turned towards that particularly large individual as he was reminded of the information that was shared with them.

Divine Tiger Guardian Guardian General, Zhao Qianjun, upper fourth-grade Duke.

Li Luo frowned. He had not expected that this carefully selected Other Dominion would have allowed him to encounter this particular group of friends. It seemed that the saying that enemies walk a narrow road was true.

Just as Li Luo had discovered the squad from the Divine Tiger Guardians, they similarly had discovered Li Luo and friends. Zhao Jiyun and Zhao Zhuoyan's expressions changed.

This was especially the case for Zhao Zhuoyan as he glared furiously at Li Luo.

During the debacle around the Sovereign Pearl, he was beaten by Li Luo and lost the opportunity to snatch it. This caused him immense humiliation amongst the Ten Thousand Beast Guardians and he was unable to hold his head up high. A Grand Commander of the Divine Tiger Guardians at the lower second-grade Duke stage was actually beaten silly by a Greater Heavenly Resonance Li Luo. He had not just lost face for himself but also the Divine Tiger Guardians as a whole.

Thus his biggest hope during this excursion into the Treasure Domain was to encounter Li Luo and personally end this humiliation with his own hands.

Furthermore they couldn't bring all the guardians into the World End's River Treasure Domain so everyone had to rely on themselves. Without the support of the Dragon's Fang Guardians, Zhao Zhuoyan had confidence he could beat Li Luo to death with ease.

"Li Foluo, this Other Dominion has been claimed by the Divine Tiger Guardians since we first arrived. I've already informed the other squads from the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Zhao and they will rush over soon. Thus if you don't wish to start a conflict here, you can go elsewhere and find another Other Dominion for yourself." At this point in time, the Divine Tiger Guardian General Zhao Qianjun indifferently announced.

Li Foluo frowned. Zhao Qianjun's squad was in no way weaker than theirs and he was an upper fourth-grade Duke. If they were to truly fight, it would be one that would require him to give it his all.

Normally speaking there were no benefits to this and fighting such a strong squad wasn't a very good use of their limited resources and time.

Furthermore the Treasure Domain had just opened.

Li Foluo then turned towards Li Hongyou whilst the latter blinked innocently with her long eyelashes as she spoke softly. "We can't give in. This Other Dominion might have two high-grade Foundational Spirit Treasures."

These words caused the group to feel absolutely shocked.

"I understand." Li Foluo responded.

Li Luo exhaled deeply. Two high-grade Foundational Spirit Treasures were a bottle of quasi ninth-grade spirit liquids!

With such a delicious prize before them, let alone Zhao Qianjun, even if the strongest Guardian General Zhao Xiuyuan from the Ten Thousand Beast Guardians were here, they would still have to fight a decisive battle for the treasures.
