Chapter 1702: Too hard on himself (14)

Everyone then went up and crowded around the both of them.

Cang Po Hun said, “Grandmaster Huang, it’s been tough on you. Let me carry Sovereign back!”

Huang Yueli gave Li Moying a detailed check, to discover that his breathing and pulse had already settled down. Although his complexion was still very pale, no difference from a dead corpse, but he should be considered as stabilized.

She nodded her head and wanted to pass him over to Cang Po Jun.

But Li Moying grabbed onto Huang Yueli’s hand tightly, refusing to let go even though he was unconscious.

Feeling helpless, the new Guardians could only bring a stretched over and carefully placed Li Moying onto it, carrying him back into his bedroom whereas Huang Yueli’s was still held on tightly by him, as she followed beside him closely.

Blue Profound Sect’s few Divine Doctors were already waiting inside Li Moying’s bedroom and when they saw him appearing, they immediately rushed upwards to conduct a check-up.

However, Li Moying grabbed onto Huang Yueli’s hand tightly, refusing to let go so the few Divine Doctors weren’t able to take his pulse at all.

“This… what should we do?”

“Grandmaster Huang, can you think of an idea to make Sovereign let you go?”

“That’s right, your Subordinate do not dare to be too rough, what would happen if we hurt Sovereign? It’s better for you to think of a way to persuade him?”

Huang Yueli shook her hand which was being grabbed and said softly, “Moying, the doctors want to take your pulse, let go of me first!”

Li Moying groggily replied as though he was awake as he gave a soft moan, “Wu…..”

Huang Yueli saw that he had some response and immediately said, “Just let go for a while, the doctors will be very quick in their check-up and later on I’ll come back to feed you your medication alright?”

As she was saying that, she gently pried open Li Moying’s fingers, attempting to make him let go.

Cang Po Jun and the others were on one side listening, as they couldn’t help but turn their heads away.

What was with the tone which seemed as though she was trying to coax a little child? Although Sovereign indeed appeared very childish in front of Grandmaster Huang, but…. this was simply unbelievable. The person lying over there was Blue Profound Sect’s Sovereign who had awed the entire Soaring Heavens Continent!

Li Moying sensed Huang Yueli’s movements and his body trembled and his fingers subconsciously tightened. Not only had he not let her go, instead he grabbed on to her even tighter, to the fact that he had hurt her hand.

“Moying, Moying?” Huang Yueli frowned slightly as she shook him, “What’s the matter? Let go first alright?”

Li Moying’s forehead grew tighter, not knowing if he was conscious or unconscious as he kept on muttering intermittently, “No, cannot…. Leave me further away… I still have… still have to recall a little more… I am about to remember it…”

Huang Yueli heard his subconscious muttering as her eyes felt sore and her tears almost rolled down again.

“You… stop talking about this! Don’t think, don’t ever think again! Haven’t I said it already? I don’t have the slightest bit of curiosity to know what happened that year! I will never ask you again so please don’t think about it anymore!”

She kept on promising him as she repeatedly pacified Li Moying’s emotions.

Li Moying’s brows finally eased as his fingers also started to relax.

Huang Yueli retracted her own hand and indicated for the doctors to head up immediately.

Cang Po Jun and the others were standing by the side as their hearts were totally shocked beyond words!

Originally they didn’t understand why Li Moying had acted totally differently from how Luo Jiyun described today.

But on hearing Huang Yueli’s words, then linking back to the cause and effect of this entire matter, they suddenly understood what had happened!
