The True Young Miss Is A Spoiled Boss

Chapter 73 - Past and Present Life

Chapter 73: Past and Present Life

“What else?” her uncle countered.

“I thought you were just passing by.” Xing Jiuan leaned back on the couch, her posture very relaxed.

“Have you slept enough in the car?”

Upon hearing this, Xing Jiuan knew that the smell on the car was probably some kind of sleeping incense.

“I’ve slept enough.”

“There’s an auction in the afternoon. Come with me.”

“Auction?” Xing Jiuan had not paid much attention to the outside world these last few days and was unaware of this.

“If you’re bored, you can go take a look.”

Xing Jiuan had nothing else to do, so she agreed.

“I’ll call Senior Brother first.”

If she didn’t, Mu Qing would be worried.

“Go ahead.”

Mu Qing did not like Xing Jiuan hanging out with this uncle. He felt that this person was too dangerous.

Xing Jiuan did not say that she had come to this uncle’s place. She only said that she would return a bit later.

Mu Qing agreed.

Although he had come to Country Hua at the last minute, her uncle still brought a lot of people along, as well as a few chefs.

The snacks Xing Jiuan ate were made by the chefs. They couldn’t be bought outside.

In addition to the two Chinese chefs and a Western chef, there was a butler, a chauffeur, a bodyguard, and a cleaning lady.

Xing Jiuan and this uncle were the only ones eating at the dining table. The others did not eat with them at the main table.

This uncle was a gentleman from Country Y. He was a hereditary aristocrat. His upbringing and etiquette were always faultless. However, he had gradually changed a lot after meeting Xing Jiuan.

“Are you in a bad mood because you were bullied?”

Xing Jiuan shook her head. “I just have some things that I can’t figure out.”

“There’s something else bothering you? Tell me about it. Uncle might be able to help you.”

“Do you believe that a person can have a past and present life?”

“Past and present life?”

Xing Jiuan looked at the steak and pasta in front of her and suddenly lost the desire to eat.

“Yes. Or in other words, rebirth.”

Her uncle called out to her and waved her to his side first before asking her, “Do you also worry about such things?”

“I just have some sudden thoughts about it. Actually, I am only half convinced by such things. My previous or current lives don’t matter to me. I just want to live in the present.”

“You’re still so young. How can you be so disturbed over something like this? It’s not like you anymore.”

“What will you do if you were reborn once more?” Xing Jiuan continued to ask.

“That’s not possible.” He chuckled.

“What if it does happen?” Xing Jiuan insisted on getting an answer.

“If it were possible, I would still be the same as I am now. Nothing would have changed.”

Xing Jiuan fell silent. How could she have forgotten that her uncle was different from her?

“Are you asking me this because you’ve been learning something recently?”

Reincarnation was too unbelievable. This uncle subconsciously disregarded such things.

Uncle Wang brought a plate of new food over and placed it in front of Xing Jiuan. He took away the Western food that she had not eaten.

Xing Jiuan thanked him in a soft voice and only answered her uncle, “No.” However, she did not say why.

“Alright, little girl, don’t be unhappy anymore. I heard that buying things makes girls happy. You can buy more things you like later, alright? Uncle will be your ATM.”

Xing Jiuan couldn’t help but laugh. “Uncle, where did you hear that? I don’t really like shopping.”

She found it troublesome. She only needed what she needed.

Besides, she already had everything she needed. There was no need to buy anything else.
