“Ahhhh~~!”

A bloodcurdling scream erupted from the groundhog’s mouth.

There was golden blood gushing from its a*shole, having clearly just had its defenses penetrated and was now being subjected to a brutal, inhumane attack.

The other crimson spikes flew toward An Lin with extremely fearsome sharpness, and one could smell the rich, putrid scent of blood from it even from afar.

An Lin had wanted to oppose the power being released from within the huge mushroom building for a while now, and this was the perfect opportunity to do so.

He held his high-rank immortal tool, Divine Flame Bead, as a golden flaming dragon swept forth from within. The flaming dragon was instantly empowered by the Sea of Divine Flames as its aura became even more fearsome, and the golden scales on its body seemed to grow more substantial before it roared and flew toward the crimson spikes.

Boom!

The collision between the two swept up a horrific shockwave that dispelled sections of the Sea of Divine Flames. The crimson spikes were twisted and mangled by the golden dragon before quickly evaporating under the fearsome temperatures, and the Sea of Divine Flames also slowly dissipated at this moment.

This technique consumed far too much energy, so An Lin did not dare to use it for a long time.

He swallowed an Energy Restoring Pill before turning to the golden groundhog again.

The golden groundhog wielded its twin snowy-white sabers as it lashed out at the crimson spikes as if its life depended on it. It had prepared itself for a fight to the death as blood gushed from its ravaged a*shole while sending chills running up its backside.

After being forced to a certain point, all beasts would enter a frenzied mode where they fought with no regard for their lives. The groundhog had clearly been forced into this state.

The crimson spikes were forcefully separated and were weakened after being scorched by the Sea of Divine Flames, thereby allowing the golden groundhog to gain the upper hand.

“The Peerless Saber Demon will not be humiliated. Ahhhh~~~!

“Die, die, die, die!

“Single Strike of The Ocean!”

The golden groundhog roared as an extremely bright saber projection burst forth from its snowy-white saber.

The saber projection swept forth like an unstoppable force, slicing through all the crimson spikes and completely wiping them from existence.

“Huff huff huff…” The groundhog panted heavily, but a slight smile had appeared on its face as the joy of successfully avenging itself surged through its entire body.

It then raised its head to discover a man standing before it with a smile on his face that sent chills running down its spine.

The golden groundhog: “…”

An ominous sense of foreboding welled up in its heart.

Was it going to pay the ultimate price for its impulsive moment of hot-headedness?

An Lin was just about to take this life with his Evil-Slaying Sword, but he didn’t get a chance to do so before his eyes turned to Xu Xiaolan, upon which his expression drastically shifted, and he activated his Wings of Wind and Wind Sword techniques all at once.

Bam!

An Lin suddenly disappeared from the groundhog’s line of sight with only the howling gale-force winds left in his wake that indicated that he had once stood before it.

The golden groundhog faltered slightly before turning around to look behind it.

Xu Xiaolan was just in the process of bashing Lust when a twisted shadow appeared at the section of the wall that had been damaged before opening its crimson eyes.

Whoosh…

An invisible ripple proliferated forth as peculiar sounds began to erupt between heaven and earth.

In that instant, Xu Xiaolan’s clear eyes suddenly glazed over as she fell into some sort of trance.

An opportunity!

Bloodlust shone in Lust’s eyes as it pounced toward the woman before it without hesitation!

“F*ck off!” an enraged cry sounded.

Boom!

An inky-black circle appeared under Lust’s feet as a terrifying gravitational force acted on its body, causing its bones to creak and crack.

Abyssal Gravity Technique!

An Lin charged toward Lust as black mist erupted from his body, and his aura elevated to a monstrous level.

He opened his mouth toward Lust. “Roar!”

Lust’s expression shifted drastically as this was one of its signature divine abilities, the Demonic Roar of Sins!

Sound waves imbued with boundless sinful power created a substantial force that swept toward its body.

Pride as cold as ice froze space. Sloth drifted like a dreamy mist. Envy erupted forth like pulverizing blades. Wrath like fire incinerated all things. Greed like mist eroded the air. Gluttony manifested itself in an all-engulfing mouth. Lust threatened to tear apart souls! The powers of all seven capital sins instantly erupted as they ravaged every inch of Lust’s body.

“Howl!” This was the first time Lust had been struck by its own attack, and it roared with pain. The powers of sins were so terrifying, but… also so wonderful!

The black shadow in the mushroom building suddenly pointed a finger at An Lin.

Space twisted as a crimson arrow pierced through the air like a shooting star while heading toward An Lin with a vastly terrifying force. Even though An Lin possessed a super-powerful divine body, he was still struck by an extreme sense of danger.

He too pointed at the arrow, and the sea of blood surged as the power of death created a round shield before him. This was also one of Lust’s signature techniques, which was another way of using its power of demonic blood dead spirits.

Boom!

Energy exploded forth, but the arrow still penetrated the shield in the end.

Just as Lust thought An Lin would have to unleash his power to defend against the arrow, An Lin completely relinquished all defense as Golden Void Lightning spiraled around the blade of his sword, which swung down toward Lust!

“Howl! Are you insane? You’re going to take me down with you?!” Lust roared frantically.

In its eyes, what An Lin was doing was exchanging his life for its own.

However, An Lin was confident that the weakened crimson arrow would not be able to break through his body of the War God!

Lust’s body was already riddled with wounds, and it frantically tried to unleash all of its power to defend itself against An Lin’s earth-shattering sword strike. At this moment, the crimson arrow had already struck An Lin’s chest.

Golden Void Lightning was a type of Return to Void Stage divine lightning, which possessed the power of great annihilation, and as such, it was able to easily pierce through the severely-debilitated Lust’s defense.

Lust stared intently at An Lin. It wanted to see what he looked like when the crimson arrow pierced through his body, sort of like a dying wish.

However, the scenes that transpired before its eyes sent it plunging into complete despair.

The arrow struck An Lin’s chest, upon which an extremely sharp screeching sounded, but it was unable to penetrate even a single inch into his chest!

A rainbow light burst forth from the place on An Lin’s chest that had been struck, creating a seemingly-indestructible barrier that kept the arrow at bay.

“It didn’t penetrate?” Lust’s eyes widened in shock.

At this moment, boundless Golden Void Lightning sliced apart its body.

“No… This isn’t fair!” Lust roared with despair, “Why are you unscathed! It’s not fair!”

Weren’t they going to die together? Why was it the only keeping its end of the deal…

Lust roared at An Lin with fury and despair, only to hear an answer that made him fall apart even further.

“Why? Because I’m stronger than you,” An Lin replied coldly.

Lust: “…”

His voice had only just faded when Lust’s body was completely shredded by the Golden Void Lightning.

The crimson arrow also disappeared, and aside from a bit of redness on his chest, An Lin sustained no other injuries. A soft “huh?” escaped the lips of the black shadow in the mushroom structure. It was clearly a little surprised by what it saw.

Gluttony’s expression shifted drastically as it fought Gundam Three elsewhere.

Lust had been killed, but why didn’t it feel a sense of danger?

Gluttony believed in the Blood Lord’s strength, but that didn’t mean it would be in the mood to save everyone! Lust’s death was a perfect indication of this!

Gluttony immediately picked an opportunity to flee from its own battle before flying toward the huge mushroom building. It had no choice; the two humans were far more powerful than it had predicted them to be.

An Lin couldn’t see the feature of the black shadow, but its stature looked quite humanoid. The power that had struck fear into his heart was coming from this shadowy figure.

The black shadow was also appraising him, and it looked like he wouldn’t be able to escape.

The effects of the Divine Plunder Technique hadn’t vanished even after Lust’s death, so he could still use its power for a few more minutes.

An Lin waved a hand, and several dozen Demonic Blood Beasts materialized on the ground before pouncing toward the black shadow.

“You’re using the power of demonic blood dead spirits against me?”

The black shadow looked at An Lin as it spoke in a husky voice.

“Alright then, let me show you what true life is.”
