Chapter 480 - Tu Xiupei Against Shen Yunya

Chapter 480: Tu Xiupei Against Shen Yunya

When the lady felt the warm weight on her shoulders, she turned around gently and saw a thin and fair hand resting on her naked body. Immediately, she screamed out loud.

Hearing the screams, Xi Jin quickly ran into the room, but he stopped at the door when he remembered that it was the bathroom. With some self-control, he proceeded to knock the door, asking anxiously, “Dai’er, what happened? Are you okay?”

Tu Xiupei looked at Shen Yunya standing before her, a gentle and kind smile on her face but a murderous spirit in her eyes. Then, her gaze moved towards the slim hand which had already slowly moved on to her neck, lightly touching her fatal spot.

Xi Jin became even more worried when he received no reply. “Dai’er? If you don’t answer, I am coming in!”

“I…I am alright. I just accidentally slipped and fell.” Tu Xiupei answered quickly and swallowed her saliva in fear. She was afraid that Shen Yunya would exert some force on her hand and wring her neck.

Having received a reply, Xi Jin felt relieved. “Please get dressed quickly. I will come in and carry you.”

“There’s no need for that. Ya’er has already come in to help me.”

Shen Yunya caressed the fatal spot on Tu Xiupei’s throat lightly as she spoke, “Brother Jin, Elder Sister fell and sprained her foot. I will help her out later.”

Tu Xiupei thought that this clear and sweet voice must be the voice of the devil. It really terrified her. “That’s right, having Ya’er here is good enough.”

“That’s good.” After confirming the voices of the two, Xi Jin felt reassured. “In that case, I will wait for you outside.”

Although Feng Tianlan had heard the commotion going on from her side, she merely glanced over for a moment, having no intention to interfere. It seemed as though Shen Yunya was unable to tolerate Tu Xiupei’s act anymore and had begun to target her. Feng Tianlan was starting to look forward to what would happen next.

“What do you want?” Tu Xiupei asked in a lowered voice as it became quiet outside. She had always thought that Shen Yunya was not a good person, but she did not expect her to reveal her true self so quickly.

Shen Yunya retracted her hand and sat next to the bathtub, looking condescendingly at Tu Xiupei. She said, “Are you satisfied with your impersonation of Dai’er?”

“I am Dai’er.” Tu Xiupei looked at her directly. “Shen Yunya don’t act rashly. Brother Jin is just outside.”

Shen Yunya sniggered and replied casually, “You better believe that one sentence from me and Brother Jin will no longer trust you.”

“That will not happen. I am Dai’er, Brother Jin cares about me the most—”

Before she could finish speaking, her cheeks were pinched violently. Standing over her, Shen Yunya had instantly lost her angelic aura and was looking down at her with the malicious smile of a bloodthirsty devil.

“You are Tu Xiupei, not Shen Qingdai. I have the power to make Brother Jin believe that you are Shen Qingdai or I can make him murder you with his own bare hands.”

Tu Xiupei tried to endure the pain of her fingers on her cheeks, staring back at Shen Yunya with watering eyes. “I am going to tell him about your true self.”

“Foolish!” Shen Yunya released her hand, then abruptly pushed Tu Xiupei’s head into the water. She used spiritual force to restrain her movements so that she could not struggle.

Tu Xiupei, who was submerged underwater, opened her eyes wide, as she was forced to swallow mouthfuls of bathwater. It was not long before she started to feel increasingly suffocated, and an intense fear of death overwhelmed her. Shen Yunya genuinely intended to kill her.

Just as she thought that death was near, the spiritual force that restrained her suddenly vanished, as did the pressure on her head. She immediately lifted her head to cough violently, taking deep breaths and throwing up water. Her wide eyes were full of terror as she glanced at Shen Yunya who stood before her with a gentle and harmless smile.

She was truly petrified. The woman before her was a maniac who would really kill her. In addition, she was convinced that even if she died, Brother Jin would never suspect Shen Yunya did it.
