Chapter 5359 Wind Spirit Violet Crystal

As Long Chen ventured deeper, the concentration of the devil creatures increased. This place was the hive of the Fiend Wind Blood Devils, and even Long Chen had no choice but to proceed with caution. Soon, he came across a sparkling mountain entirely made of crystalline ore.

“Heavens, those are all wind spirit stones!” Long Chen was completely shocked to realize that those sparkling crystals in the mountain were wind spirit stones.

This was an enormous wind spirit stone vein, yet it wasn’t marked on Tang Wan-er’s map. It was likely that the higher-ups of the Wind God Spirit Pavilion had deliberately kept it hidden, fearing that their disciples wouldn’t be able to resist the temptation of coming here to take some of it. After all, this was the heart of the Fiend Wind Blood Devils’ hive, and stealing from right under their noses was no different from courting death.

Is she after the wind spirit stones too? Long Chen wondered. But before he could dwell on it, Bu Qingyan headed deeper into the hive, moving within mere meters of the blood devils without being detected.

How strange, she’s definitely up to something… But I have my own business. 

Long Chen was not interested in her motives. After all, he was in a rush to find the Radiant World Star Crystal.

Bu Qingyan had clearly come prepared, using an invisibility cloak to hide from the blood devils. When his divine sense penetrated a thick crystalline layer, a beautiful world appeared before his eyes. This was an unimaginably huge space. Within it, he saw a starry river flowing, which filled this world with wondrous divine light. He felt like he was floating within a starry river.

This was not a real starry river but a projection of light. At the heart of this space was a fist-sized crystal.

Long Chen’s starry sea stirred in response, and his astral energy surged uncontrollably. Startled, he suppressed his aura to avoid alerting the blood devils, but the starry sea within him continued to boil with desire for the crystal.

The crystal, in turn, seemed drawn to him, pulsing with energy that made the entire mountain tremble.

“Stop!” Long Chen used his soul to calm the crystal, which responded to his emotions and slowly settled down, giving him a chance to examine it closer.

The crystal was translucent, and inside, a miniature starry river swirled like a cosmos. Long Chen was shaken by its boundless power, feeling like a mere speck of dust in comparison.

The sight of the swirling starry sea was like a bolt of lightning striking Long Chen’s mind. It felt like he had comprehended something, but when he tried to think of it, he couldn’t quite grasp it. 

Reaching out instinctively, he was interrupted by the Earth Cauldron’s urgent voice.

“Are you suicidal?! Even if you only use your will to touch it, its power is enough to wipe you out a thousand times over.”

At this moment, Long Chen was in his spiritual form, not his true body. However, he didn’t expect that he couldn’t even touch it. 

Long Chen hastily asked, “Then what should I do?”

“Use your astral energy to commune with it. Place your astral seal on it and then draw it into the primal chaos space. Right now, you can’t touch it—it’s a masterless object and will attack anything that tries,” advised the Earth Cauldron.

Long Chen obediently followed the Earth Cauldron’s suggestion. Using the starry sea in his Dantian, he tried forming a resonance with the Radiant World Star Crystal. His Spiritual Strength served as a bridge between them. 

Once he was on the right frequency, he started carefully placing his spiritual seal on the crystal, infusing it with astral energy. After what felt like an eternity, Long Chen successfully imprinted a three-flower star diagram on the crystal. That was his astral mark.

Even then, he didn’t dare touch it directly. Instead, he guided the crystal out of the mountain slowly and carefully. The power of the Radiant World Star Crystal was immense, and a single misstep could shatter the mountain. Of course, if he were alone, he wouldn’t mind. He’d just take it and run.

However, because Tang Wan-er and the others were not that far away, they would definitely be affected. Hence, Long Chen let the Radiant World Star Crystal slowly come through the mountain.

Yet, just as everything seemed to be going smoothly, furious roars echoed from the distance. Long Chen then saw countless blood devils come pouring out of their hive.

Have I been noticed?

At first, he thought he’d been discovered, but then he saw figures in strange clothes rushing off in all directions. Rage surged through him.

These bastards, how dare they?!

BOOM!

The mountain collapsed. With no time to spare, Long Chen sent the Radiant World Star Crystal into the primal chaos space and had the Earth Cauldron gather the scattered wind spirit stones. Lightning wings burst from his back as he shot toward Tang Wan-er’s location.

“Crush the tablets!” Long Chen shouted.

Tang Wan-er and her group were in the midst of cleaning up the battlefield and gathering devil crystals, but they froze at the sound of furious roars and Long Chen’s warning.

Tang Wan-er was shocked. But without hesitation, she ordered everyone to crush their tablets.

They tried, but to their horror, the transportation runes had lost their power. The tablets, which should have been effortlessly breakable, were now as hard as iron.

“It’s not working!” someone cried in disbelief.

“Not good!” Tang Wan-er and the others exchanged shocked glances as the blood devils closed in.
