Nine Star Hegemon Body Art

Chapter 5267 Advancing to the Saint Realm

Chapter 5267 Advancing to the Saint Realm

BOOM!

When Long Chen broke through the final shackle, his aura suddenly contracted deep into his Dantian. Then, like a volcano erupting, an explosion of berserk qi waves surged from his body.

The Spirit Root flame within his Dantian trembled as his aura was released with such force, causing his entire body to ache.

It felt as though millions of tiny blades were slicing through his meridians. Yet, as they were cut, the energy flowing through them healed them instantly. After that, his newly mended meridians emitted a fresh and unfamiliar kind of energy.

As Long Chen’s aura continuously erupted, violent currents swept through the training room, carving deep marks into the tough walls.

Long Chen’s room was the strongest cultivation room in the Ten Thousand Dragon Nests, and even a two-vein Emperor’s full-power attack wouldn’t necessarily be able to leave a mark on it. Yet, Long Chen’s aura alone gouged several-foot-thick cuts into the walls.

“This is the Saint realm?” Long Chen muttered as he examined the changes in his aura, his expression filled with doubt.

Aside from changes in his Spirit Root, aura, and meridians, there didn’t seem to be much difference. Even the changes in his Spirit Root and meridians were too subtle to fully understand. Still, his aura had grown denser compared to when he was in the Eternal realm.

Looking at the damage his aura caused to the training room, Long Chen was startled. He hadn’t realized his aura alone could unleash such destructive power. He threw a punch at the wall, but though it trembled slightly, no new mark appeared.

“Why do I feel like my strength hasn’t increased much?” Long Chen frowned, confused.

“The six realms of Eternity don’t directly increase your power but rather change your aura. Your Spirit Root, Spirit Blood, and Spirit Bone are now undergoing true awakenings. Qi is merely the first step toward becoming a true expert,” explained the Earth Cauldron.

“Qi? Do you mean the qi I cultivated in the Qi Condensation realm?” Long Chen asked, puzzled.

“That qi was merely your first connection to heaven and earth. At that stage, you used the qi of heaven and earth to push your body beyond mortal limits and extend your lifespan. But now, this is different. This qi encompasses the ten thousand Daos, the entire cosmos and universe. It is the lifeblood of the nine heavens and ten lands, the flow of karmic luck. And hidden within it is an unspeakable secret. Do you know why the qi in your Dantian is called the Root Qi?”

“No, I don’t,” admitted Long Chen. He had always accepted that this energy was called the Root Qi, but he had never come across an explanation.

“Do you think that this Spirit Root is only rooted in your Dantian?” the Earth Cauldron questioned cryptically.

“Is the Spirit Root supposed to be rooted within nine heavens and ten lands?” Long Chen’s heart raced as he speculated.

The Earth Cauldron offered no direct answer and said, “Think about it yourself.”

The Earth Cauldron fell silent after that, leaving Long Chen in deep thought. Ever since he had started cultivating, he had been immersed in divine abilities, medicinal pills, divine weapons, and heavenly laws. Yet, he had never truly contemplated the most primitive existence that had set him on this path—the qi.

Closing his eyes, Long Chen sensed the state of his body carefully. Suddenly, he felt an overwhelming sense of calm, as if his soul had been liberated. His body relaxed, and he recalled his early days in the Phoenix Cry Empire when he had just started cultivating.

What he sensed now was a vast expanse of qi—turbid and dense, unlike the clear qi he had gathered during Qi Condensation. At that time, pure qi had cleansed his body and mind, expelling impurities. But now, this qi seemed thick and chaotic, as though it was filled with a mass of primal chaos containing all things.

Long Chen’s heart suddenly shook with realization. “A sea grows deep because it accepts streams from multiple sources no matter how tiny. A mountain becomes great by accepting everything that can build it. If I want to grow stronger, I must integrate and harness every available force!”

His thoughts then turned to his heart-devil, the terrifying presence he had always suppressed.

I almost forgot about that terrifying fellow. I have to get stronger quickly. That fellow is the real danger.

Long Chen took a deep breath and calmed himself down. He had only just advanced to the Saint realm, and his aura was still unstable. He needed to test his newfound power in battle to fully control it.

Exiting his training room, he found the Dragonblood warriors already waiting for him, their auras now brimming with strength after reaching the Saint realm.

“Let’s move out!” Long Chen commanded without hesitation.

The Dragonblood Legion had all advanced, and the dragon race’s heavenly geniuses had also mostly completed their breakthroughs. With two-vein Emperors guarding them, everyone brimmed with confidence. After everyone got on, Ten Thousand Dragon Nests whistled through the air.

After three days, they encountered another horde of devil creatures. This time, the Dragonblood warriors didn’t wait for orders—they immediately sought out the strongest enemies. As for the Dragon Domain’s heavenly geniuses, after the battle against the Heaven Devil, they had gained a certain level of resistance against the devil pressure.

Even though they weren’t a match for the devil Emperors, they could at least hold their ground.

“Kill!”

The Dragonblood warriors charged forward like bandits, attacking the powerful experts. As a result, the two-vein devil Emperors barely had time to react before they were torn apart.

The dragon race’s heavenly geniuses were also fearless. Long Wuyang, Bai Yingxue, and the other peak experts could now kill Human Emperor devil creatures in a one-on-one battle. They didn’t even break a sweat.

Within the time it takes for an incense stick to burn, the devil creatures were completely annihilated. As the battle ended, Guo Ran and Xia Chen started scanning the area.

“Found it!” they shouted in unison. As they activated their formation discs, a mountain collapsed, revealing a massive altar hidden beneath.
