Chapter 727: A Whole World In Celebration

Crystal City and the entire Mermaid Kingdom have never been so bustling. Both Mermaids and Nagas are already in a frenzy due to the news of Tyrion’s fall, but now there are more things to celebrate.

He was enjoying staying in the Crystal Castle surrounded by adorable Mermaids, but the hustle and bustle of the preparations for the festivities made him take his girls to their house.

After an hour of receiving his caresses, Sophia and the pair of tigresses fall asleep.

Sophia is always ready to sleep, especially when she is in Lucien’s arms, and Oya still needs rest after the tense battle against Tyrion.

Little Ko, on the other hand, is like any feline, always ready to take a good nap.

Seeing the three girls snuggled up on the large sofa in the main hall, Lucien can’t help but smile.

Those three girls, in particular, evoke special emotions in him.

Sophia’s slightly bulging belly already makes her pregnancy evident, but despite their first time being about a year ago, she seems to be around four months pregnant at most.

Taking care of little Ko seems straightforward as she only needs to hunt, eat, bathe, and receive affection to be happy.

But taking care of a child, especially when they can inherit strong traits from both his wives and him, seems frighteningly complicated.

Lucien has already thought a lot about it, but his interaction with the Water Spirit has made him worry even more about it.

He doesn’t just want to be a better father than his own, but also an excellent father—so good that his love will be evident in his daughters’ words, just as he can feel the Water Spirit’s love for her father.

"Yep," he agrees and begins walking toward the aroma of food.

Despite being eager to taste his wives’ cooking, Lucien doesn’t rush. He wants to enjoy the stroll through the castle, or rather, the company of all the Mermaids and beings inside it.

And there are several of them everywhere, whether they are castle guards, servants, or helpers who came to work on the grand party.

Alongside them, there are also many Nagas, but Lucien doesn’t see any males among them.

Lust notices his curiosity about that and can’t help but comment on it. "Most men don’t feel comfortable around you, not when their masculinity diminishes rapidly, making room for dangerous feelings..."

His wives are more accustomed to such feelings, but they still feel anxious for Lucien to taste their dishes.

So, without wasting time, he samples some of his wives’ creations, starting with the youngest among them and then moving on to the more experienced girls in the kitchen.

After trying so many wonderful dishes, Lucien slowly walks toward a pair he didn’t expect to see in the kitchen.

Those are Eve and Donna, who are cooking very focused in the farthest corner of the large kitchen.

They chose to stay away from the others, but all the other girls are intimidated both by their strong personalities and the influence of their Sins.
