Looking at the vast spread of food laid before him, Lin Mu found it hard to hold back his excitement.
Before he could move, however, the Ten Flower Beauties gracefully stepped in. Reluctantly pulling themselves away from Little Shrubby—despite their clear desire to keep doting on him—they turned their attention to serving the three distinguished guests.
"My Lords, Honored Monk, please begin with these dishes," Miss Rose, Miss Hellebore, and Miss Bluebell announced in unison, presenting plates with an elegant flourish.

The room fell into stunned silence. The Ten Beauties exchanged bewildered glances; this was far from the dignified dining etiquette they were accustomed to.

This dish required precision to eat, as breaking it apart without ruining the balance of flavors was a challenge. Yet Lin Mu seemed to defy the rules of dining etiquette—and perhaps even physics.
He picked up the entire patty with his chopsticks, keeping its structure perfectly intact, and popped it into his mouth in one go. Unbeknownst to anyone, Lin Mu had subtly used his spatial skill, Meld, to stabilize the delicate dish.
"Next," he said again, swallowing as though it were the simplest thing in the world.
Miss Rose hesitated but dutifully brought out another dish. At this point, her professional demeanor began to waver. "Is he… even savoring the food?" she wondered silently.
Daoist Chu, meanwhile, was barely holding back his laughter. Watching the usually composed Ten Beauties lose their poise was far too entertaining.
"This is exactly what I wanted to see," he thought, grinning behind his teacup.
Monk Hushu, however, remained detached from the spectacle. Calmly eating his stir-fried vegetables, he paid no attention to the absurdity unfolding around him.
Dish after dish was brought to Lin Mu, and he demolished each one in record time. What took the others several minutes to enjoy, Lin Mu consumed in seconds. By the time he finished the appetizers, the other two men were still on their first plates.
"What's on the main course now?" Lin Mu asked, his eyes gleaming with anticipation.
Miss Rose cleared her throat, regaining her composure. "Our first main course is our signature Honeyed Lamb Chops. The lamb comes from Black Coil Fur Lambs, specially raised for their tender and flavorful meat. The honey glaze is made using pollen from cherry, plum, peach, and pear blossoms, harvested from our very own orchards," she explained with pride.
"Oh, this looks good," Lin Mu said, eyeing the glistening lamb chops.
This time, he forwent the chopsticks and used his hands to pick up one of the chops. The Ten Beauties sighed in relief; with a dish like this, Lin Mu couldn't possibly devour it in one bite.
Or so they thought.
CRUNCH.
The sound startled everyone. Miss Rose's eyes widened in alarm. "M-Master Lin Mu, are you okay?" she asked hesitantly.
Lin Mu looked up, chewing casually. "Hmm?"
CRUNCH. CRUNCH.
To their utter shock, Lin Mu had not only eaten the tender, honey-glazed meat but also the entire bone. He crunched through it as if it were no tougher than a crispy biscuit.
"N-Never mind," Miss Rose muttered, swallowing her words.
The other Flower Beauties were equally stunned, their jaws slack as they watched Lin Mu pick up another lamb chop and repeat the process. Each bite was accompanied by the sound of crushing bone, a sound so unnerving that it sent shivers down their spines.
In all their years at the Four Fruits Pavilion, none of them had encountered a customer who ate bones along with the meat. This wasn't just gnawing for marrow—it was full consumption, as if the bones were part of the delicacy.
Daoist Chu couldn't contain himself any longer. A chuckle escaped his lips, and he set down his teacup to speak.
"Don't worry, Daoist Lin Mu's appetite is… unique. He doesn't like to waste food. At all," Daoist Chu said, his tone filled with amusement.
The Ten Beauties nodded numbly, unsure how to respond.
As Lin Mu continued his meal with unrelenting enthusiasm, the sound of crunching bones filled the hall, leaving everyone—beauties, servers, and guests alike—staring in disbelief.
