Death… And Me

Chapter 3691: Results

Time passed as the cultivation session continued...

The good thing about not being in the Golden Palace anymore was that the twins’ group didn’t have to worry about a time limit. Back then, they would use one fruit every three months of cultivation, but the way they cultivated there was extremely wasteful. Not even 20% of the fruit’s energy was added to their cultivation in the end.

It couldn’t be helped, since they had to make the most of it before the palace closed. Eventually, they found out how to acquire the fruits from the Astral Tree, and now they are back in the Divine Realm.

Another point is that Zangeshu made a formation for Celis to use. Of course, that was also with Rean’s help. The formation and Celis’s own abilities made the cultivation just perfect. Celis didn’t waste even an iota of Starlight Energy from the fruits. Even better, it also added the normal Starlight Energy from outside to the mix. It’s just that the outside Starlight Energy was almost nothing compared to what Celis could get from the fruits.

Now, there was no hurry, and no wastage. Thanks to that, Celis took his leisure time to absorb the Starlight Energy in the Fruits. But, in exchange, each fruit didn’t last only three months. In fact, it took almost three years for Celis to use a single fruit alone!

Don’t look down on these three years. Because of the careful cultivation, Celis was many times more efficient. That meant a single fruit now was providing enough Starlight Energy compared to six or seven fruits back in the Golden Palace. That was how much energy Celis was wasting back then. Sure, the cultivation speed was definitely slower, much, much slower, but the end result would be many times better. They would be able to cultivate for much longer and progress much further.

Outside, things continued to change. A hundred years after the closure of the Golden Palace, the Werdlem Empire sent its representatives to help with the transition of the Universe Owners. Rifindio wouldn’t appear for a while, but Triaglia had many things to pass over to the Empire.

Three hundred years in, and the Universe had pretty much stabilized. The news that Triaglia would step down was now accepted by everyone, and the Camazotz Bats waited for their new leader.

It was also made public during this time that Rifindio was previously a Camazotz Bat. However, due to his chance encounters back in the Golden Palace, his bloodline had evolved into a new type of Bat Bloodline, one at the same level as Triaglia’s Bloodline, a Regal Bloodline.

That made the Camazotz Bats insecure at first, but Triaglia guaranteed Rifindio wouldn’t swap them for another race. The reason for that was pretty simple: reproduction. If Rifindio intended to increase the number of bats from the same species as him, he would need the female Camazotz Bats.

He sure could go after some other race of Demon Bats. Hybrid species are plenty in the cultivation world. It’s just that since he was a Camazotz Bat before, the chances of any bad side effects and rejections were a lot lower. As for whether there would be a separation between the Camazotz and Rifindio’s new bloodline later, that was something Rifindio would have to deal with on his own.

Another thing made public was Rifindio’s choice for his new bat race name. After all, his Bloodline was different, and no one knew what to call it. It was one of the short moments Rifindio was given some time to think about something other than reaching the Celestial Realm as fast as possible. His race would now be called the Camakawa Bats.

Pretty much only the twins’ group and Triaglia understood where that name came from. Part of Rifindio’s Bloodline Mutation was due to Kentucky’s Minokawa Bloodline. Rifindio essentially combined parts of both names. Camazotz and Minokawas, Camakawas.

Kentucky and Rean couldn’t help but laugh when they heard that. They were focused on cultivation, but they also kept an eye on the Werdlem Network of Universe F956 during this time.

Many years later, the twins’ group reached the limit of the Elemental Space Realm. Just like before, they already had the experience, and their cultivation technique was even more advanced. That said, the breakthrough happened without any problems.

Rean, Roan, Celis, and Kentucky had finally returned to the Space-Time Realm. Well... Sky Space-Time Realm, to be more specific.

No comprehension of the laws was necessary, though. They already had everything, so they still only needed energy, energy, and more energy. And so, life went on...

Almost eight hundred years have passed since the twins’ group started to cultivate. Celis looked at the Starlight Fruits remaining, only 21 now. And yet, all of the ones that were used so far were only enough for them to reach the Middle Stage of the Space-Time Realm. "This is absurd! Every breakthrough multiplies the amount of Starlight Energy needed by a ridiculous amount!"

Rean shrugged. "It is not so bad. Back in the Golden Palace, we weren’t even confident we could reach the Peak Stage of the Elemental Space Realm. Now we are in the Middle Stage of the Space-Time Realm. That far surpassed our expectations already."

Roan opened his eyes. "Are the remaining fruits enough to reach the Late Stage?"

Celis shook his head in response. "Nowhere near it. I haven’t wasted a single iota of Starlight Energy, which made our cultivation speed slower but perfectly efficient. I even added the natural Starlight Energy to the mix to save as much as possible. However, it is unbelievable how over half of the fruits I absorbed were used solely to go from the Initial Stage to the Middle Stage of the Space-Time Realm!"

Of the 215 Starlight Fruits the twins’ group brought from the Golden Palace, 194 have been used by them so far. Of the 194, 102 were used to simply go from the Initial Stage to the Middle Stage of the Space-Time Realm. Meanwhile, the other 92 were enough to cultivate the entire Elemental Space Realm! Celis wasn’t kidding when he said the energy requirement was ridiculous.

Roan closed his eyes again. "So be it. Let’s use the remaining fruits, and then we can think about our next step. The way we are now, we should be able to match the Divinity Realm experts, even fight Peak Stage ones, depending on the enemy. It should be enough for exploration."

Seeing Roan so calm helped. "Okay... I’ll try to save as much as possible with the remaining fruits. Our cultivation will slow down a little bit more as I add the Natural Starlight Energy to the mix with more consistence, but it should build a foundation for us in the Middle Stage."

Everyone agreed, and they returned to cultivate once again. Only by the 910-year mark did the last Starlight Fruit disappear...
