Chapter 6366: Grandmother Waking Up, the Cemetery’s Summon?

“This fellow is an interesting one. I wonder if he’ll still be grateful to you if he knows that you have stolen his Heaven Suppression, Heaven Protection, Heaven Footwork, and Formless Spearmanship with your Dark Plunder,” Eggy snickered behind Chu Feng.

Needless to say, only Chu Feng could hear her words.

“How’s our grandmother?” Eggy and Song Yun turned to look at Chu Feng’s grandmother.

Chu Feng’s grandmother was still unconscious.

“Her condition is stable now, but I’ll have to find other ways to treat her.”

Chu Feng looked at his grandmother with pained eyes. Through the treatment, he realized that his grandmother was not only mad, but she was also constantly tortured by her mental state.

She must have been living in anguish all this while.

“My clan’s recovery formation failed to work on her?” Ye Xiancheng was surprised.

Shoosh!

Chu Feng released an unconscious figure with a wave of his sleeves. It was the Ninth Young Master, whom he had taken control of a while back.

“He’s unconscious due to the effects of my formation, but he’ll recover soon,” Chu Feng explained.

“Brother Chu, I suspect that my mother has headed off to channel our clan’s ancestral formation. My parents are stubborn in their ways. I might be the clan chief, but they are still the ones who call the shots in the Ye Immortal Clan.

“My parents would have realized you’re not to be underestimated after you slipped past our defenses and rescued your grandmother. They will spare no effort in channeling our ancestral formation this time around.

“You can hold me hostage. They won’t dare to hurt you as long as I’m in your hands. They should let you leave,” Ye Xiancheng told Chu Feng via voice transmission.

“Thank you, Brother Ye.”

Chu Feng was intending to do that. The last thing he wanted was for Eggy to put her life on the line to withstand the Ye Immortal Clan’s ancestral formation. It was one thing for him to do it, but it was another thing for Ye Xiancheng to offer himself to be held hostage.

Ye Xiancheng smiled. He turned to Song Yun and asked, “Guest elder, are you still reluctant to tell me your real name?”

“Song Yun,” Song Yun replied.

“That’s a wonderful name.” Ye Xiancheng nodded. He turned to Eggy and asked, “What about this miss? May I know your name?”

Eggy ignored him.

But Ye Xiancheng was unfazed. He replied with a smile, “Beautiful women ought to have spunk, especially one as gorgeous as you.”

All of a sudden, Chu Feng, Song Yun, and Ye Xiancheng raised their heads to look at the sky. The male grand elder and the other Ye Immortal Clansmen did the same too.

Something was happening with the Immemorial Cemetery. Its phenomenon was becoming increasingly clearer, and bizarre flashes of light shone from within. It looked even more majestic than God’s Era.

“What’s happening there?” Ye Xiancheng murmured.

Chu Feng’s grandmother suddenly opened her eyes and stood up.

“Grandmother!” Chu Feng called out.

But his grandmother suddenly vanished. She reappeared outside the palace, above the warship. She looked at the Immemorial Cemetery with deep eyes that emanated some sort of power.

Even outsiders could tell that she was observing the changes in the Immemorial Cemetery using some kind of means.

“Capture her,” a voice echoed.

Several Ye Immortal Clan’s elders charged at Chu Feng’s grandmother. They knew how important she was to Chu Feng, so they wanted to capture her to blackmail him.

Boom!

Flames suddenly ignited around Chu Feng’s grandmother, suffusing the world with its intense heat.

The elders vaporized before they could even come close to the flames.

“Hold your ground!” the male grand elder furiously bellowed. “Who asked you to make a move?”

None of the Ye Immortal Clansmen would have dared to make a move even if he didn’t tell them to hold their ground. Even though the flames had extinguished, the crowd still felt intimidated as if death was staring right at them.

“Chu Feng.”

Eggy looked at Chu Feng with fury in her eyes. She wanted to make a move since the Ye Immortal Clan had already bared their fangs at them.

“I doubt they will be able to do anything to my grandmother.”

Chu Feng was much calmer in comparison. He wasn’t worried about his grandmother’s safety.

Just then, a golden light sprouted from the ground and manifested into several humongous avatars that were tens of thousands of meters tall. They commanded transcendent auras and harnessed tremendous power within them.

These avatars continued to expand until they surrounded this realm.

“It’s our ancestral formation. My mother has put all our treasures into awakening our ancestral formation.” Ye Xiancheng frowned.

But Chu Feng remained unfazed.

There was no question that the ancestral formation was formidable—its aura surpassed even rank four Heavenly Gods. But he noticed how his grandmother had calmly turned her attention back to the Immemorial Cemetery after dealing with the Ye Immortal Clan’s elders.

Her composure was so unwavering that it didn’t seem to be just because she was not in the right state of mind. Her composure was grounded in her strength.

“I wonder how strong my grandmother is,” Chu Feng murmured out of curiosity.

She didn’t reveal her cultivation even when she unleashed the devastating flames that burnt the Ye Immortal Clan’s elders to a crisp. This showed how formidable she was.

“Ye Immortal Clansmen, heed my orders. Capture that woman!”

The female grand elder suddenly appeared in the sky with a golden token in hand. That golden token emanated the same aura as the hundreds of golden avatars that sealed off this realm.

The male grand elder also took out a similar token, and his body radiated a golden glow. He rose into the air and stood next to the female grand elder.

“You really used it all?” the male grand elder asked.

“Xiancheng might be foolish, but we can’t be the same as him. We can’t let Chu Feng get away,” the female grand elder said.

“Father, mother, what are you doing? I made a deal with Chu Feng to let them leave safely if he defeated me. Are you going to make me break my promise?” Ye Xiancheng asked from the palace.

“Xiancheng, you have inherited our clan’s Immortal Legacy. Our ancestors are protecting you. He doesn’t have the means to hurt you. You might have held back earlier because you wanted to pit your strength against Chu Feng’s, but if you let him capture you now, I’d have no choice but to think that you’re putting on an act with him. Don’t blame me if I ignore your safety if so,” the female grand elder said.

“Mother, you...” Ye Xiancheng felt helpless.

He didn’t expect his mother to see through their ploy.
