I’m Not Going to Be Bullied By a Girl

Chapter 94 – Synchronization Rate

Tonight during dinner, I told my dad that I would be going to a classmate’s house on Saturday to study.

He stared at me as if I was a Martian.

“Is the sun rising from the west? You, actually want to go study?”

“I can’t go? In any case, I’m a pretty good student.”

“Of course you could! I’m so happy that Xiao Lin suddenly loves studying!”

My dad said as he stuffed two pieces of beef into my bowl.

It’s a shame that my dad can’t cook that well. It only tasted slightly better than cafeteria food, it was a waste of beef that costed $26/500g.

“Hey, Xiao Lin, which classmate’s house are you going to study at?”

My dad didn’t even properly finish his food and asked me with a face full of smiles.

“Stop being nosy, I’m just studying with members from the basketball team. If they don’t get their grades up, their parents aren’t going to let them participate in sports anymore.”

I went against my principles and lied, but I can’t let him know that I’m going to study at Xiao Qin’s house with two girls.

Although I have a clear conscience, the old man would definitely overuse his outstanding imagination. Then he would brag to Director Cao and my reputation would become even worse.

My dad looked extremely disappointed after he heard that I would be with the basketball team.

“I thought you made some new friends, but it turns out it’s still those Aniki!”

“Can you not use manga terms? If we’re just speaking about muscles, I would be the super Aniki!”

“I don’t care if you’re the super Aniki or not, just don’t do gay things. I heard when a large group of guys gets together, it’s easy to do gay things.”

He didn’t even wait for my retort and continued to eat.

After a while, he said:

“Oh right, Xiao Lin, I’m also going out Saturday and I won’t be back until Sunday. I’m leaving my wallet in the usual place, use it to buy stuff to eat.”

“You’re also leaving? And you won’t be back for dinner? If we’re both gone, what’s going to happen to the online store?”

“What about the business? We’ll just leave it for a bit! I put an announcement on the site saying all orders placed on Saturday will be shipped on Sunday. We have quite a bit of regular customers, so they would understand.”

“So where are you going?”

I pursued relentlessly, it felt like I was a strict parent setting rules for their child.

“It’s nothing really, haha, I’m just going to attend a meeting for fellow enthusiasts. Director Cao said he’s going to play the 10 classic B grade movies on a big screen. Everyone’s going to get together for reviews and consultations.”

Damn isn’t that just a gathering for watching AVs? HHH Enthusiasts are just looking for trouble! You even said that we would do gay things if I hung out with he basketball team! A group of old men gathering around to watch AV would be an even bigger problem!

But my dad rarely had outings and I didn’t have any right to stop him as his son.

I could only remind him to drink less and not get caught by the police.

“I did a quick search online and your group of perverts is committing a crime by broadcasting obscene materials! According to criminal law, section 3 article 364, a group broadcasting of obscene materials results in a minimum imprisonment of 3 years and a maximum of 10 years depending on severity!”

After he heard the severity of the crime, he slightly touched the arms of his glasses with a guilty conscience.

“Ah, after hearing what you said, I’m starting to worry a bit. But it shouldn’t be a problem. According to Director Cao, the leader of the HHH Enthusiasts Club will protect us.”

This wasn’t the first time my dad mentioned the club’s leader. The leader never participates in offline activities, but only chatted with everyone else online. The funds for the club was all provided by the leader, and the time when Director Cao got arrested for filming an AV, it was the leader who helped him out.

Not sure what kind of evil this leader was. If he had a vast array of connections, why sponsor a group of old men for boring things? Does he just have too much money with nowhere to spend it on?

Saturday morning I jumped out of bed and ran three and a half laps around DongShan Lake.

The martial arts old man greeted me as usual. I was pretty happy when I saw his posture becoming more robust.

I went home to eat breakfast after I finished training. I took the chance to take a shower and switch into a clean suit of clothes.

Then I carried my backpack and started walking toward the subway station.

I didn’t have many books inside my backpack, only a few homework assignments due Monday. If the class leader or Xiao Qin finished, I could just copy their work.

I was thinking if I was being too formal? With my stamina, I wouldn’t sweat much even after running five laps, and I usually ran straight to school after I was done.

But Xiao Qin’s house was different than school where we could just wear our shoes. Her house was carpeted and she didn’t have slippers, so we either had to wear socks or go barefoot.

After running, although I don’t sweat much on my body, the scent of my socks could be considered as weapons of mass destruction.

There was a time when I placed a pair of freshly removed socks next to a ball cactus. Within two months, the cactus had died.

If the class leader and Xiao Qin met the same fate as the cactus, that’s something I definitely don’t want to see.

On top of Xiao Qin’s home not having slippers, she also cranks up the heat really high, it’s like walking into a tropical rain forest.

That’s why I wore a sports vest underneath my clothes. That way, if it gets too hot, I don’t have to be naked.

I came early. By the time I arrived at the A entrance of the subway station, the morning fog has not completely lifted.

I glanced at my watch, it was 8:15. The class leader and I arranged to meet here at 8:30.

I stuck both my hands in my pockets and disinterestedly stared at the passers-by.

I’m not sure why, but I had a strange feeling of expectation.

Was it because the scenario was like a date? But today I’m not the main character, we’re just going together to visit Xiao Qin.

A bell ringing resounded and a blue bicycle stopped near me.

I wrinkled my brows when I saw the class leader squeeze the brakes as I remembered the incident when she squeezed my fingers.

I finally understood what I was expecting: today the class leader wore casual clothes!

It’s the first time I’ve seen the class leader wear something other than her school uniform!

I’m not an expert in clothing, but I’m assuming what the class leader is wearing today is ‘the monochromatic’ trend.

A milky white sweater, dark colored jeans, and black skate shoes.

The sweater’s collar and cuff were both very narrow and it wrapped tightly around her neck and wrist. I even felt uncomfortable for her. (I won’t eat you even if you expose some of your collarbones or arm)

The class leader isn’t the type of person who would purposely buy clothing of a smaller size, so was this sweater something she bought last year? It’s clearly too small for her, but she doesn’t want to buy another one!

I don’t think her family condition is that bad where she needs to be that frugal! You turned a normal sweater into a body tight sweater! There’s even a curve along the breasts! Although it’s not as exaggerated as Gong CaiCai’s breasts, it would still catch the gaze of many males.

When I lowered my gaze, her jeans were tight skinny jeans. The length was just right, but it also exposed the curves of her legs.

After this sight, I could only make one conclusion: the class leader was skinnier than I thought.

Usually, when she wore her baggy school uniform I can’t really see her body type. But now that she was wearing all skintight clothing, I feel like she got much skinnier.

The class leader jumped off the bike and flung back her long black hair, making her look even frailer.

Her shoes were a pair of skate shoes with a thick and rough bottom. It’s useful for gripping the skateboard, but since she doesn’t skate, it’s also useful when pedaling a bike.

Even though the shoes were black, there were rainbows drawn on the sides. It made the shoes much more lively.

“Sorry I’m late.”

The first thing the class leader did was apologize.

“Since my brother’s shirt button fell off, I had to help him sew it before I left. Did you wait long?”

Actually, the class leader wasn’t late, it was only 8:25.

Thus I signified that it wasn’t a problem and the class leader went to lock her bike.

Then I noticed that the shoelaces on her shoes were crooked.

It actually looked pretty nice how the laces pointed outwards. When you put the two feet together, it looked like a large butterfly.

I suddenly remembered that there was a way of tying shoes called the bicycle lace, it was used when riding a bike so the laces would not get tangled in the bike chains.

As I thought, after she locked the bike, she crouched down beside me and retied her shoes.

This time it wasn’t crooked at all, it was a traditional shoelace tie.

The class leader is so troublesome! You have separate methods to tie your shoes for walking and for riding a bike! You just have a case of OCD!

If you’re really worried about getting into a bike accident, forget about your shoelaces, cut your hair! It looks like that long hair of yours would be more likely of being tangled in the chains!

Since we needed to have an inspection to ride the subway, the class leader had been holding on to her bag all the way until we reached the station platform.

This was the first time I realized that we had the same bag, a shoulder bag.

Was it because her hair was too long and a normal backpack would be too troublesome with all the hair in the middle, so she bought a shoulder bag?

The top was black and the bottom was white, the two sections were split by an arc. There was also a pentagram on the bag that looked like a foreign police badge with English words surrounding it.

Compared to my pitch black shoulder bag, it’s both durable and pleasant.

The train came pretty quickly. But even though it was the weekend, it was still overcrowded without any empty seats.

The class leader and I stood near the doors. For some reason the mood became awkward and neither of us spoke a word.

“Um… your bag looks nice.”

I tried to talk about a random topic.

The class leader turned around and stared at me, “I carry this bag every day to school, was this the first time you saw it?”

She doesn’t know how to act like a person! Will it kill you to exchange some normal social interactions! Are you not satisfied with me complimenting your bag, did you want me to compliment your looks!

I shifted away my line of sight with a scoff.

I could see our reflections on the glass of the door.

It was interesting. Regardless if it was age, height, clothing, or bag, we were pretty synchronized.

I looked around us: there were many couples on dates happily standing near us.

As I listened to their chatter, I felt the silence between the class leader was hard to deal with.

“Hey, are you not going to speak to me before we reach Xiao Qin’s home?”

“I just don’t have much to say right now.”

The class leader coldly stared at the passing billboards outside of the train.

“You don’t want to know about your brother?”

“My brother? What about him?”

The class leader slightly turned her head.

“Hehe, I’ll tell you, he was the one who stole your pair of underwear!”
