Chapter 826 - Playing Gomoku with Brother Yubo

Chapter 826: Playing Gomoku with Brother Yubo

In the presidential suite on the top floor of a hotel.

There was a man quietly sitting on a chair beside his bed.

The man held a book in his hands. There was a Go board with a stalemate game in front of him.

Jian Yubo had been living alone in the hotel ever since he arrived in Beijing.

Other than attending tournaments, he basically did not leave the hotel room. This meant that he rarely met up with his other siblings.

He was used to the quiet. He was also used to being alone.

At this moment, the phone in his hotel room rang.

Upon hearing the call, Jian Yubo paused for a moment. Then, he got up to answer the call.

It was a call from the receptionist of the hotel.

“Mr. Jian, there’s a girl called Miss Yiling here. She says that she’s your sister. She wants to come up to visit you.”

Jian Yubo paused for a few seconds before he replied: “Let her come up.”

Jian Yubo knew that his current location could not be hidden from Jian Yiling and Zhai Yunsheng. They could find him anytime they wanted.

And thus, this time around, he did not intentionally hide his whereabouts.

However, he still felt surprised and astonished when he learned that Jian Yiling was visiting him.

After a few minutes, the doorbell rang.

Jian Yubo got up to open the door. A delicate figure that appeared at his door was none other than Jian Yiling.

Jian Yiling wore a white sweater and a black skirt.

She was also wearing a black backpack and held a large box of food in her hands.

The two of them stared at each other for a full minute.

After that, Jian Yubo finally gave way. Then, Jian Yiling walked into the room with the box of food.

She placed the box of food on the dining table and opened it. Inside was a steaming hot meal.

Jian Yubo closed the door and turned around to look at the busy figure in his hotel room.

“The weather has been cool lately,” Jian Yubo said.

Jian Yiling paused for a moment before she glanced down at her skirt.

“I’m wearing something,” Jian Yiling explained.

Then, she tugged at her leggings to show Jian Yubo.

She was wearing thick leggings. However, the leggings were skin-colored.

As Jian Yubo rarely spoke to girls, he naturally did not know the dressing habit of girls.

When he saw Jian Yiling’s actions, Jian Yubo shied his head away.

Then, Jian Yiling placed all of the dishes on the desk. After that, she turned her head to look at Jian Yubo.

Jian Yubo slowly walked over to the dining table and sat down.

Jian Yiling had cooked all of these dishes.

His sister took the time out of her busy day to cook these dishes for him.

And thus, after another pause, Jian Yubo picked up his chopsticks.

As the two of them were not talkative people, they ate the meal in silence.

The dishes that Jian Yiling cooked were all delicious. In addition, the dishes were Jian Yubo’s favorites.

After the meal, Jian Yubo sat down at the window seat. He picked up the book again.

Jian Yiling did not leave. Instead, she walked over to the opposite of him and sat down.

When she looked at the Go board, Jian Yiling asked: “Shall we play Go?”

Her voice was soft like the little girl in Jian Yubo’s memories.

As a result, Jian Yubo could not refuse.

And thus, he put down the book and cleaned up the Go Board.

Then, he started to play Go with Jian Yiling.

Jian Yiling was not proficient in Go. She only learned how to play Go from Zhai Yunsheng last night.

And thus, although Jian Yiling’s learning ability was very strong, she was still definitely not good enough to compete against Jian Yubo.

Not after long, Jian Yiling suffered a crushing defeat.

This made Jian Yiling a bit embarrassed.

Upon seeing this, Jian Yubo offered: “Let’s play Gomoku.”

Jian Yiling: “Okay.”

Gomoku was a game where Jian Yiling still could have a chance against Jian Yubo.

And thus, the two of them cleaned up the board to begin a new game.
