The two students concentrated on sensing their connection with their beasts. Though this is their first time, it was easy to do so thanks to the contract they had signed. As they did so, cold sweat covered their whole body and their hands were twitching.

It took awhile before they could do as they wished and when they did they looked at their hands and got what they wanted. Can Wangji’s hand turn that into a sloth while Gu Yang’s hand turns soft as a snake. After all, a snake doesn’t have hands. When his hands turned like that of a jelly, Nan Jiang and Princess Shika laughed out loud while Elf Princess Hevana looked disgusted. The others were okay with it.

Elf Princess Hevana borrowed her fire elemental’s face and made it look that her face turned even more ethereal making her less than a human and less than an elf. Now she looks more like a spirit. Plus, her ability to control fire had strengthened. Xue Laira borrowed her Elemental Emperor’s roots and her feet were instantly buried under the soul. She can feel everything that the land feels, increasing her scouting ability multiple times.
