Chapter 4477: Deep

"I have reached it," I said ever so softly.

In front of me, the boundary of the deep parts begins; a few people venture there, which is why there is not much information about it.

There is not even a complete map.

Most people don’t even risk going there; it’s too dangerous. Forget the monsters; it is the environment that kills them, and I am not talking about the blasts.

There is a clear boundary, which I hadnt found anywhere in nearly three days I had been here.

My soul waves when passed through it; they whittle much quickly than before.

I checked for all the threats before I appeared at the boundary. I looked at it for a moment before taking a step forward.

The moment, I did. I felt like I had appeared in a very different place.

The energy was thick in the place where I was, but nothing compared to this. It is thick as honey and violent, which tried to drill through my armor.

The energy is dangerous enough to kill Peak Primes.

My stealth activated quickly, and soon, the energy couldn’t even sense me. It relieved me, but it didn’t much lessen the pressure on me.

This energy is everywhere. It is hard to avoid it.

Thankfully, my armor is very good at dealing with such energies, but I will still be very careful. If I get in the blast created by this energy, I am done.

I had just thought that when a blast occurred not far away from me.

I sensed it and it scared me, but it also made me a little confused, till I understood what had happened.

The blast only covered a distance of a meter and a half, unlike those outside, which at least covered twelve, but this blast, small as it may have been.

It was extremely powerful that I would have had zero chance of surviving.

The thing that scared me most was how quickly it had happened. It was in my soul range, but I wasn’t able to discover it.

I didn’t get even a hint of it until the explosion began, but that is too late.

It was in my immediate range, where there is a powerful bubble of soul sense covering me. Detecting the slightest changes happening around me.

I feel scared, and I wanted to go back. Instead, I took the step forward and then another and another.

I could leave, and it would be much safer, but then, I wouldn’t be able to harvest all these resources, which could help me tremendously in my practice.

A minute passed, and I stopped. In front of me is a blue flower tree with two flowers on it.

It’s a petal crystalline and they are sharp, really sharp. I could feel the powerful law of the crystal and its sharpness.

What is surprising is the power of the law, which is not weak. It is as strong as the best resource I have found in this place.

I moved my strings and gently harvested the resource.

I didn’t bother with the tree, because it is useless. The law here didn’t come from the tree, but from the environment. So, even if I succeeded in planting it, I wouldn’t get the laws.

Over 99% of law plants are like that. True law plants are very rare.

It didn’t affect my mood much, because I am happy with the number of resources I am collecting. The sheer value of it would shock even the Prime’s that came here.

I pushed those thoughts away and moved forward, collecting resources as I came across them.

This place isn’t disappointing me at all; the resources are everywhere, and my strings moved around, collecting resources in every direction.

An hour passed, and I am moving forward, collecting more resources, but also walking into greater danger.

The energy is getting denser, and monsters are becoming more powerful. I could see signs of the blast everywhere, but also the vitality of this place.

A blast may wipe away everything living, but the next day, the new growth will start.

The monsters are few, but they are powerful. I have come across three monsters so far, and each one has been more powerful than the last.

I wish I could put a seed inside them, but that’s too risky. I might do it if there is a fight, but I am not going to take the risks on a lone monster, no matter how much I want to do it.

I moved slowly, walking slightly faster than a normal person.

I could move faster, but I didn’t want to take the slightest risk. I am already taking massive risks being here, and it is already paying off.

The resources aren’t the only reason. I also want to reach the deepest part of it.

I don’t know if I could. If it became far too dangerous, I wouldn’t hesitate to retreat, but I will do it if it is possible.

Another hour passed, and I sensed a monster. It is a thin, lizard-like monster with long legs and black-green scales on its body.

Once more, the urge to put the seed inside returned to my heart, but I effectively crushed it.

It is coming toward me, while I hid in my stealth, like I did so many times, and till now, I haven’t got caught, and this time as well, it won’t be different.

The monster reached close to me and walked straight without even looking at me.

My stealth is very good. Even a monster as powerful as it couldn’t sense me, even if I were barely a hundred meters away from it.

Time passed, and it walked away from me.

I was watching it and hoping it would move quickly. So, I could resume my journey when I sensed something, and my eyes widened.

’Shit!’ I cursed.

The moment I burst with the full power and moved away from my spot at my greatest speed.

Bang!

I heard the explosion and felt its massive power, which nearly took my armor to the brink, and that was just outer energies.

If I had stayed where I had, I would have been vaporised.

I have survived the explosion, and now I have to survive the monster as it has sensed me.
