Chapter 4454: Third Level of Garsonath

"No rift!" I said as I opened my eyes.

Every day, I wake up with those being my first words. I am waiting for the rift desperately.

More desperate are the people who had been here for hundreds of years; some for over thousands. They are verging on madness, and I have a feeling that if it doesn’t come soon, they might go mad.

The rift will come, everybody is sure of it. However, nobody knows when it will come.

I took a deep breath and calmed myself before entering my core, excited because the plant would have finished refining the bloody core of Haklin.

I thought it would take a month inside the core, two at most, but it had taken five months.

It had been over three weeks since the battle against Itornas, and the plant had been focused on it alone. Refining the core, turning into the blood essence.

I was right in my prediction, but wrong in the composition of the core.

It has both blood essence and soul essence, but Haklin had perfectly extracted the blood essence of the first layer. The ones after that were not so good.

Essences were powerful, more than the blood essence on the first layer, but less pure.

They were from very powerful monsters that it would struggle to defeat. He was not able to purify the essence of them to purity; he had done with the essence of the weaker.

It isn’t the only reason; there is also soul essence.

Not only is it. But also monsters, and it wasn’t in a large amount as blood essence, but it was still in a considerable amount, and most importantly, impure.

The plant could refine soul essence, but its speed is much slower, and impure soul essence made the process even slower.

It helps in almost all things, breakthroughs, formulas, practice, recovery, and everything else. Finding this level of purity is very rare.

What is rare is finding it in such a massive amount. It is truly a huge amount.

A fraction of it will make any pride green with envy. I have a lot, but like most things, I couldn’t sell it. The Haklin’s core may have been foreign, but it has been refined by the plant of the core.

So, I can not sell it despite wanting to do that very badly.

I kept looking at it for a few seconds before I brought out a few bloody rocks and globs of soul essence. I could take it all, but I had sensed something from it, and I want to see what it does with it.

It’s very precious, but the plant has proved its own usefulness, which is far more than the resources it has refined.

I kept looking at it for a few seconds before walking out of my core.

I stepped out of my bed and walked to the practice room, before sitting down. A few seconds later, I started practicing Garsonath Transformation.

The moment, that moment, my eyes widened as intense pain shot through me.

Garsonath Transformation is extremely uncomfortable, so I would bear the pain of it. In all my sessions, it had only been painful twice.

Both times, I finished the level.

I am not finishing the third level. It is a joyous occasion, and I am very happy, but unfortunately, I can’t laugh.

I am feeling immense pain in every part of my body, and it is increasing. I will have to bear it and practice the method, because it did not work.

The backlash would be strong enough to cripple me.

I don’t want to cripple, most importantly. I want to successfully finish the third level, because it would be a tremendous help.

It will make recognising me much harder than before.

It is one of the things I am most worried about. People finding out about me, but with the third level of Garsonath Transformation, it would be much harder.

I am happy, but I am also quite surprised. I had not expected that I would be making a breakthrough.

I thought it would be after I advanced to the peak of Sky Sovereign.

Though, when I think about it, I am not that surprised. It is the only method I have practiced every day. It doesn’t have a limit, I could practice it until I finish the level.

Once more, they could sense when they were near finished, but the forbidden power made it really hard to do that.

I don’t care much. I am very happy with the level of finishing. It will be much harder to find the faults with the face, I am wearing with the aid of the method.

When I get out, there will be scrutiny. Some of my abilities will be exposed.

This will offer much greater protection from Silver Prime’s scrutiny. I am fearful of them, but with this, I will be much less than before.

Time passed, and finally, the pain began to lessen till it disappeared as the third level of it was finished.

I wanted to test the method. Instead, I lay down and closed my eyes. It had made me very tired and I wanted to do nothing more than sleep.

That’s what I did. I slept.

Two and a half hours later, I woke up. As I did, I immediately began to check the changes it had brought, and it made my eyes widen.

"Primes could forget about finding anything, even if they scan every inch of me. Even Silver Primes wouldn’t be able to find anything unless they are lucky," I said, feeling much relieved.

This method has offered me another layer of protection and a lot of peace of mind.
