Monster Integration

3358 Icy Wasteland

Poison Dragon Realm

“Welcome back, my lady,” said the old man and bowed to him. “Stop. I do not deserve such respect.” I said to the old with dragon horns and those around him; all sharing the same features.

I, too, have some of these features, including the scales, but my other bloodline had affected them a little.

“We do, my lady. You deserve every bit of it,” said the old man respectfully, casting a glance at my belly for a moment before turning to me.

The reason for so much respect is the little troublemaker inside. She is the reason I have been moving between two realms every three months.

If not for her, these people would have killed me. The two bloodlines inside me were mortal enemies, and their realms were also mortal enemies.

Now, they are doing something; they have never thoughts, they would ever do. Compromise.

“Is everything ready?” I asked, because the moment I stepped into the realm, the little troublemaker shot a feeling of hunger at me.

She is hungry, and it is not the food she wants.

“Yes,” he said, with his expression turning serious.

He raised his hands, and the world shifted around us. A moment later, I found myself in front of the huge door and the people guarding them were powerful enough that even a speck of their aura would turn me into mush.

Its core.

Cold is the first thing I had felt before snow appeared in front of me.

It is everywhere. I couldn’t see anything other than snow in any direction I looked at.

It is surprisingly cold. Those below Primary-III won’t be able to survive in such cold and even those of initial Primary-III will find it hard to survive this cold for more than a day.

I looked around and become I am sure I am in the Senan Mountain range of the Kaliv Region, but that is not enough.

The Senan Mountain range is vast and many organizations have it part of its territory.

I hope I am in not some organization’s private territory. I really don’t want to be captive again. It’s why the stealth method is active and melding more perfectly with the environment every second.

I opened the Senan Mountain range.

It is a huge map that my clones have cobbled together. With maps and information, they had found in the storages of all those I had killed.

It is not as detailed as I liked it to be, but beggars can’t be choosers.

Now, the first thing I have to do is find where I am, despite the man and quite good vision, I can’t seem to do it, but I am looking, and my clones are scanning every part to match with the places in the map.

“Nero,” I said, and a second later, he came out.

It hadn’t been even a minute since he had gone back into my storage. I thought it would be weeks or at least days before I will bring him out, but I did it within a minute.

“You know what you have to do,” I said to him, and he nodded excitedly.

“I will find out where we are, Father,” he said and shot out of his place, perfectly melding with the environment. Even I won’t be able to see him, if not for my connection.

I followed after him, with my soul sense spreading around me.

Looking at the sky, it seemed to be afternoon; it is bright, but there is no warmth in the sky. Just cold. That will freeze anyone below the Primary-III into the ice.

I have read from some of the information I found that there are some parts of the Senan mountain range that are cold enough to freeze even Earth Sovereigns.

I didn’t seem too close to such spots. As usually these kinds of spots, especially if they are beneficial, are controlled by the organization and such places of extreme temperature are always useful.

They optimal places to practice the methods.

I hope I come across something that will let me know where I am. A person or settlement would be nice, but I will be satisfied with seeing something that will help me associate this place with the map.

An hour passed, and we have crossed a large distance with our speed, but seeing vast unchanging scenery around us; it felt like we have barely taken a step.

I really wanted to be in the city right now; there are many things for me to do. The first one is buying resources.

Yes, I have an immense amount of them, but they are the resources I have found. I was in ruin, not in a store where I could buy all the resources I need.

There are many resources I want and that is not in the massive collection I have. In the store, I could buy or exchange what I have.

Another thing is, I need information about my next destination. I know where I have to go, but it is far, and I don’t know the routes. In the city, I will be able to find all out.

Most importantly, I could do all that in the safety of the city.

I have been in danger for months and I want a few weeks of peace, where I could take the treatments and work on inheritance without fearing for my life.

Hours passed, and the evening came; the sky had begun to darken and three moons, begin to show themselves from the veil of clouds.

It is a wonderful scenery in a bleak way.

It is cold here, and there are no flora or fauna. In the few hours of travel, I have come across a single plant and that one too was on the verge of dying.

When I stepped into the rift earlier, I hadn’t expected I would be in such a condition. Where I wouldn’t even know where I am.

It is much better than appearing on the private grounds of an organization and getting captured. Still, there is a chance I may be on some organization’s ground, nothing could be said till I find a person or map.

The whole night passed, and the day appeared. This entire night, I didn’t stop for more than an hour.

I didn’t stop for treatment or rest; the hour break I took for dinner. I ate it in the open with Nero; a dome of heat was enough for us to have dinner comfortably.

A few more hours passed when I suddenly stop and close my eyes.

A moment later, I appeared at my core and looked at the dot, before turning to my clone.

“Are you sure?” I asked.

“It is what data is saying,” it replied, and I wanted to curse, before dot in a bad place, not a dangerous place, but a bad place.

It is a safer place, a large stretch of icy wasteland. It doesn’t have anything, and nobody controls it.

Boom!

“Well, I didn’t have to hold back then,” I said to myself and flew up from the ground, a moment later, a loud boom rang out as I shot through the air.
